Purpose

This template is to be used in lieu of [[Category:Some Category or Another]] declarations inside subcategory pages. This ensures that subcategories are listed before all other pages, so that nobody ever has to slog through three or four pages before they know what all the subcategories are.

Warning: When the number of pages and categories combined is less than 200, using subcat has no beneficial effect; it will likely be a hindrance rather than a help.
