Bentley Returns

Yo Z, I'm back. What did I miss?

This time I plan on just playing the game (now that it's playable again--those 3-minute actions from last winter were killing me!) and not playing around on the suggestions page. It's nothing but an unending fount of frustration anyway. What happened to the WCDZ while I was napping? - Bentley Foss 06:19, 27 September 2006 (BST)

Userboxes

I've been changing the image size on the userboxes to 60px. It's what seems to be the standard. If I shouldn't let me know.

Darth Sensitive 02:25, 3 May 2006 (BST)
Hey, thanks for pointing that out, I never caught that. I'll work on going back and fixing some of the ones I may have screwed up.
Darth Sensitive 02:35, 3 May 2006 (BST)

I think your page's fix is ready at User:Brizth/ZaruPage. I wonder how many other pages I broke :p --Brizth mod T W! 23:50, 3 May 2006 (BST)

Hi I was wondering if you could tell me if someone can be banned for repeatedly griefing a particular group and if so, what's the process? I know that it's up to Kevan but I just need to know how if possible. Hope you can help Whitehouse 20:22, 4 May 2006 (BST).

Thanks for the advice about the Bounty Hunters, we have decided to do just that, thanks again. Whitehouse 21:58, 4 May 2006 (BST)

Party is Over

yo lad. Party is over. There is 3 univited guests at the party site, and they broke the door on their way in. Better look for another place to party, and find more people, because i just sent one to the hospital. --hagnat mod 01:53, 6 May 2006 (BST)

Ridleybank Reclamation Forces

Yeah, you said if anyone wants to adopt it they can. I'll do it. Saromu 23:59, 7 May 2006 (BST)

Oh no you wont. The RRF wants it. --Grim s-Mod 00:03, 8 May 2006 (BST)

Tsk tsk. You're the founder. Yes, that gives you a certain amount of say-so, but Red Rum has no leaders ;) --Miasig.gif(user)(talk) 20:14, 31 August 2006 (BST)
Hey Zar, I was wondering about how to join up with Red Rum? So, can I Zar? Can I? -Banana¯\(o_º)/¯Bear 02:41, 8 May 2006 (BST)

May I ask which server you have been using To craft insidious plots upon? I think I've got irc working now. -Banana¯\(o_º)/¯Bear

I, too, wish to relish in the gruesome and unwarranted murder of innocents! Where do I sign up? (This'd be with my Larry Gray alt, not my ASSman) --Jimbo Bob ASS 01:05, 9 May 2006 (BST)

Well, atleast i'm not a total n00b, i fixed it meself :D --DJSMITH 04:40, 17 May 2006 (BST)

Hey Zar, think I can join Red Rum? I got a guy up at Bale Mall. He got his second kill today. With Red Rum I could kill more people. Sonny Corleone WTF 22:02, 27 May 2006 (BST)

Zar, I have a character interested in joining Red Rum. However, I have no way to contact you by mobile phone or e-mail. Can you contact me somehow? The dinosaur is hankering to unleash his fury upon humanity.

Darth Sensitive talkW! 01:07, 30 May 2006 (BST)

Oh grand exalted leader, I have a character that would love a gig with Red Rum. What d'ya say? --Blahblahblah 18:00, 30 May 2006 (BST)

Zar! Zar! Zar! Hehe. I'm trying to get everyone in our merry band to sign up here so I can get a count of our active membership. The count on the page is based on who I have on my UD Contact list right now, which will work for now, but I'd perfer the sign-up for confirmation. --SirensT RR 05:20, 8 June 2006 (BST)

"The One-Armed Boxer"[1] and "Master of the Flying Guillotine"[2]

Absolutely! You can get both movies through Azureus[3] and the links to their respective torrents are in the section heading above! Undeadinator seems to be having problems with the one he downloaded, but it works fine for me. "The One-Armed Boxer" comes before "Master of the Flying Guillotine" and they're both just... beyond in every way, shape, and form. Let me know what you think of 'em, I've been trying to figure out which I like more! --Ron Burgundy 00:20, 10 May 2006 (BST)

Really? If the links don't work, try just searching the titles on [4], they're in there! --Ron Burgundy 01:07, 10 May 2006 (BST)

-Did you ever get the movie to work? I'd hate to see someone go without an... experience such as this! --Ron Burgundy 21:41, 15 May 2006 (BST)

Groupbox Template

Since you're the moderator who locked Groupbox, I'd like you to see this lil' revamp I had in mind. It's located at User:Xoid/Groupbox.

Look at the example. Try using the exact same picture with the regular groupbox. Notice how the cells with text in 'em don't span the entire under side of the image, looking unprofessional and wonky? Problem solved. If you want to update the Groupbox template, you can either:

  1. Go with my fully CSS version. (Feel free to change the 140% to 120% or something. I'm just matching what the original template was intended to do. I'm sure most people would prefer it smaller than the 140%, and some may like it just the way it is. That one is your call.)
or
  1. Replace the spaces inbetween the words with &nbsp;
  2. Add width="100%" to one of the left colums.
  3. Put quotation marks around the +1 in this line <font color=#DDEEDD size=+1>

If you don't want to go with my updated version, could you fix the <font color=#DDEEDD size=+1> anyway? For that line of code to work properly, you need to surround the +1 with quotation marks. Alternatively, just remove it, it increases server load (parsing it as garbage text) for no appreciable benefit. –Xoid STFU! 15:06, 10 May 2006 (BST)

No comment? –Xoid STFU! 18:56, 12 May 2006 (BST)

Arbitration

Can you please make that apology to Amazing now? I really want this whole thing to be done with, and that's one of the last little loose ends that needs to be tied up in the Wikigate case. --LibrarianBrent 01:34, 11 May 2006 (BST)

Policy Discussion Rework

take a look at this page. This is how the policy discussion page should look like. Comments ? --hagnat mod 02:29, 27 May 2006 (BST)

New guide (possibly)

I've been working on an editing guide (User:BobHammero/Editor's Toolbox) that I hope can be added to the other wiki documentation if people find it useful. I thought you might be interested in this, so if you are, I'd appreciate it if you could take a look at that page, let me know what you think, and make any changes that you think should be made. If you know of anyone else that you think would have some feedback for me, please feel free to pass this on to them too. Thanks. --Bob Hammero TW!U! 06:38, 28 May 2006 (BST)

Suggestions work

Just a heads up: I don't know how much work, if any, you've done so far, but I'm going to attempt a rework of Suggestions Dos and Do Nots. My working copy is here. --Bob Hammero TW!U! 08:45, 2 June 2006 (BST)

Done

I'm done with the suggestions rework. I'd appreciate your feedback on it. Also, assuming you like it, do I just drop it into place over the old page, or what? –Bob Hammero ModB'cratTA 02:49, 3 June 2006 (BST)

Death

Killing me in a mall liquor store, eh? That made my day! Of course, it's not the first time I've been caught defenseless and full of scotch with my pants down in some Chinese family's kitchen. :D --Ron Burgundy 21:12, 3 June 2006 (BST)

A better way to strike

Just letting you know that I've created a new template, {{Strike}}, that should allow us to strike comments and other things in a superior way to how we normally strike things. Once the wiki is updated and we can use templates inside of other templates, this will be even handier (e.g., we can use it on the suggestions page). Here's an example of it in action: while right now we strike things, it's even better to strike them in style. –Bob Hammero ModB'cratTA 21:04, 29 July 2006 (BST)

Sockpuppet template

Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. You deserve a medal.

Voting

I think you missed myself and Nubis... Cyberbob  Talk  07:09, 28 August 2006 (BST)

Sorry, as a rule I only throw my vote behind one person for bur now. If Bob drops I'll vote for you though. --Zaruthustra 07:17, 28 August 2006 (BST)
Which basically means you won't, since Satan will be skating to work when Bob drops out. Cyberbob  Talk  07:21, 28 August 2006 (BST)
Sorry dude, he's done good work. If I could vote for everybody I would. --Zaruthustra 07:22, 28 August 2006 (BST)
And I haven't? Ive done at least as much as Bob has. Cyberbob  Talk  07:28, 28 August 2006 (BST)
Eh, I liked his edits on problem areas like suggestions, as well as his no nonsense approach to crushing vandals. What can I say, he had a better campaign tmeplate! The voting process has little to do with who Kevan chooses anyhow, so it shouldn't set you back too hard. --Zaruthustra 07:30, 28 August 2006 (BST)
Yes, it does. Kevan mostly looks at how many Vouches (or indeed, how many votes in total) a person has. I've done just as much work as Xoid, yet look at what happened last round. Hell, look at the round before that! Vista had done jackshit for the wiki, but he was promoted simply because he had the most Vouches. Cyberbob  Talk  07:36, 28 August 2006 (BST)
