October 21, 2010

Days after becoming a zombie, i regained enough memories to speak briefly... 3 days have past since the falling of Bale mall. All building surrounding have fallen, but one traveler got away and spayed all surrounding building with the line "Death, ain't you got no shame?". 32 zombies are in the cemetery 2 blocks N of the mall, groups as small as 3 zombie occupy the place almost like a barricade(ironic, right?) I am waiting a the Lynn monument, hoping that this place will lose this ghost town feel.-bkishaan --Usmc22 20:15, 21 October 2010 (BST)

October 17, 2010

The mall has been very heavily barricaded with no way to enter. 12 zombies outside the NE corner and 1 zombie outside the SW corner. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ben Forrester (talkcontribs) 16:01, October 17, 2010.

December 2009

23 december The zeds have broken into their Christmas pudding early. NE corner has fallen, 10 zeds in side. All gennies bashed. Doesn't look like survivors are putting up much of a fight. This place was steamrolled.--Taco2 15:59, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

October 2009

October 12th All corners taken and ruined. Saw it start but wasn't able to get away in time. Unknown number of casualties, but likely at least five or six have been zombified, including me. Hoping for eventual revival to help with the retaking and reconstruction of Bale Mall. --Jim North 02:18, 13 October 2009 (BST)

January 20

After a big loss of battle at the Bale Mall 10 days earlier, we are proud to say that the citizens of Malton have come in, killed the remaining zeds in the mall, and started to rebuild. After much painful work by many of the survivors, we are nearly done repairing Bale Mall from the Attack by Mall Tour 2009. Many lives were lost, but they died with honor, a last stand at Bale Mall. We Salute their bravery, and they divertered the zeds' attention while weaker survivors escaped and fled Yagoton. The Mall is now almost completetly rebuilt, but there is some fire damage along the facade of the building. barricades at EHB. --Sgt Raiden 21:15, January 20, 2009.

November 2008

18th November

The mall was briefly retaken by a member of Umbrella (rohanzap) who was late for defending the mall. He cleared out the building but then two zombies came in and ate him. A valiant stab at trying to regain the mall.

November 10

The mall is fairly empty, with only the NW corner being occupied with 2 survivors and 3 zombies. The total population is 6, with a count of 3 survivors and 3 zombies. Few ferals are in the adjacent blocks to Bale mall. Survivors are beginning to retake the surrounding buildings... slowly. St. Matthews has been repaired and been barricaded to VS, making it a ideal entry point to the mall. Other entrances include freerunning from the warehouses 3 blocks south of Bale. A little coordinated effort on either side will decide who controls Bale mall in the coming weeks.

October 2008

October 24th

Ferals persistently working corner after corner, currently swamping NE this time. Combat revives swell the ranks of infiltrators, or creates free XP for Zack. Some PK activity which isn't helping things. More ferals being drawn in by feeding groans from each breakthrough. Short version? Bale is on borrowed time.Informant 19:52, 24 October 2008 (BST)

October 11th

The mall is in survivor hands, but just barely. The North West corner has been breached and cleared by what seems to be a mish-mash of a feral horde, drawn by the feeding growns. Regardless, the corner remains powered along with the other still reasonably-heavily populated corners of the mall. The fate of the mall will be decided within the coming hours, if it is to remain in human hands or torn down almost as quickly as it was built up. --ArkenRennatta 23:46, 11 October 2008 (BST)

July 2008

July 7th

The mall is powered and EHB. I counted the survivors inside and got 164 (165 with me), but since people move around alot i say 150+. Only a few zeds in the area but if you sleep outside you'll probably get killed. --Angry cop 19:27, 7 July 2008 (BST)

June 29th

The Mall Is In Tact Seems all zeds are focusing on SW of yagoton we may expect another attack on yagoton within the next month Sniper3000 12:36, 29 June 2008 (BST)

June 27th

The Mall is EHB. People can enter by the adjacent buildings. No zeds around. --suver 19:47, 27 June 2008 (BST)

April 2008

April 14th -Only 10 zombies inside, only few zombies around

March 2008

March 17th - An assault the previous evening -- led by a small contingent from the newly created forum beerhah.com as well as numermous locals organised under the banner of Captain Caaveman -- saw Bale briefly barricaded and powered in all four corners. However, the mall'sliving defenders succumbed the next morning to the superior numbers of a combined Eastonwood Ferals / Extinction counterattack. many a beer and vodka-Orange Julius were lost in battle on that dark St-Patrick's Day morning in Yagoton.... --WanYao 17:11, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Febuary 2008

Febuary 23rd

Bale Mall is currently under attack in the north east corner, a large horde of 45+ zombies are outside. The barricades are falling fast and many survivors are dieing. Everyone is advised to stock up on ammo and FAK's. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dingoman234 (talkcontribs) at 19:02, February 23, 2008.

Febuary 16th I've been spicing things up with my PKing, but all in all, it seems very safe in and around Bale. BoboTalkClown 03:30, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

January 2008

January 30th It's all the same.. you'll find zeds scattered around the place, but the mall itself is safe. Still a siege going on, on the surrounding buildings and on Whatmore.. so if you want some action.. get down there and help out because it's only around 5 or 6 blocks down.

-Evilelf4

January 13th Things are pretty quiet around the mall.. you'd have to go down around I donno.. 5 blocks or so if you want some action.. like near the Whatmore building and around that area there's I'm guessing.. about 40-60 zeds scattered around there. But besides that.. the Mall's safe 60+ survivors in each of the 4 blocks -evilelf4

October 2007

October 23rd Drama Club staged a performance of "Army of Darkness" at the NW corner of Bale Mall as part of their Border Tour of Malton. The group is traveling clockwise around the border suburbs of Malton with one show in each suburb. Today they performed for the 18 survivors here. See their group page for performing groups, schedules and booking information.

October 21st, 2007 People of Yagoton are facing a new threat ... the threat of bordom, as Zombies are being driven out of the town. --ZKills 01:22, 21 October 2007 (BST)

September 2007

September 28th, 2007 Grand Final Football celebrations have begun at Bale Malle, with the mall being decked out it in Geelong colours. The minimal Zombies threat has allowed survivors to have a big bbq cook up as they prepare to watch tomorrows big clash between the Cats and the Power. All survivors can find Bale Mall in safe hands.-ZKills 11:00, 28 September 2007 (AEST)

September 19th, 2007 Man... Bale has fallen so far... We need a big horde!!! BoboTalkClown 21:10, 19 September 2007 (BST)

September 8th,2007 Bale mall has been retaken by a few survivors from the local groups. Few zombies still around the mall but there not much of a threat, for now..--OMGitsCHRIS 10:44, 8 September 2007 (BST)

August 2007

August 29th, 2007 The counter-attack by the Imperial Guard never materialized. Zombie numbers actually within the mall remain low, but the sheer expanse of ruin in Yagoton and the surrounding areas combined with the high numbers of ferals still roaming around means that any liberation force is likely to end up cold and grey before they can bring significant force to bear on Bale itself. --OliverCromwell 23:31, 29 August 2007 (BST)

August 28th, 2007 With fewer than 20 zeds inside Bale Mall, and rumors of an attempt to retake Bale Mall by the Imperial Guard Regiment 101 at 2pm EST, any zombies floating around that area are encouraged to help re-enforce zed numbers inside the mall, for the greater good of Barhah everywhere. --Donathin 18:34, 28 August 2007 (BST)

August 24th, 2007 In spite the fact that the whole of Yagoton could be ruined, We need some zombies in the mall.

August 22nd, 2007 BARHAH! BARHAH! BARHAH! BoboTalkClown 15:19, 22 August 2007 (BST)

August 21st 2007 all four corners now lit ith 83 zeds around the se corner another 3 outside the sw. nearby zed strength at the mall may soon reach 110+with groups of zeds nearby

update just after 9 o'clock uk time the se corner has 5 zeds inside more increasing every minate will this lead to a desisive breakthrough or will a rapid survivior reaction lead to the cades being reinforced

update the mall has been ransacked se section has 30+ and ruined all survivors are advised to run

August 20th, 2007 Aha! Not yet! Bale is still holding on! BoboTalkClown 16:38, 20 August 2007 (BST)

August 19th, 2007 Again, Bale is on the brink of defeat! It's too early to call it yet, but the cades have fallen in the southeast corner. I think this is Barhah 2, Harmanz 0. BoboTalkClown 20:38, 19 August 2007 (BST)

August 17th, 2007 Survivors have crept back into the mostly abandoned mall and have reclaimed it for the moment.Lucas Black 15:12, 17 August 2007 (BST)

What is the deal! The zombies take a building, and the next day, the survivors have it! What is the deal! Gahh! BoboTalkClown 01:14, 18 August 2007 (BST)

August 15th, 2007 Zombies claim VICTORY!!! But we need to hold it, and take down the surrounding suburbs, NTs and all. BoboTalkClown 15:36, 15 August 2007 (BST)

August 13th, 2007 Zombies have taken over the mall.

- Actually, the SW corner is still in survivor hands, though it shouldn't be in the morning.--Bruce Lee VIII 08:54, 14 August 2007 (BST)

August 9th, 2007 Zombies have broken through three sections (NE, NW, SE) but all have been re-barricaded. Generators destroyed in two northern sectors, replaced but out of fuel. We're holding. --Medico 21:58, 8 August 2007 (BST)

Zombaz want Bra!nz! No, really, it might be a good idea to spread out to the other corners, if you are a zombie. Also, if yuo can rise, just as a meatsheild, do so! BoboTalkClown 16:18, 9 August 2007 (BST)

August 6th, 2007 Silly Zombies! Malls are for Living! We haven't fallen in a long time, but... Meh. Keep up the good work, watch those 'Cades, Check the Style (and maybe Sheppard to), and look at the lists in other corners (the ones you see on the Map) to make sure none of those Greenies lurched over there when you had your eyes shut. --Driaquer 05:38, 7 August 2007 (BST)

August 3rd, 2007 I managed to break in, and destroyed a generator, but I ran out of AP. We need to keep up the assualt. Idea- Attack nearby resource buildings, so when the mall falls, there's no escape. Keep up the good work people! BoboTalkClown 21:44, 3 August 2007 (BST)

July 2007

July 30th, 2007 Well, Just thought I should say it loud and clear: The Zombies are focusing on the SW Corner. This doesn't mean you abandon your post in the other corners, but you DO need to check there for wounded and barricading. We are 60-some strong in the SW, but we need the other corners as well. Remember, when one falls, they all fall.
Oh, and if anyone *cough*Betaguy*cough* was questioning my allegiance, I cleared and dumped the standing zed AND put 1up to the 'Cades to make 'em work a little to get in (ran outa AP and got infected... Woulda boosted it more...)--Driaquer 17:05, 30 July 2007 (BST)

July 23rd, 2007 Clan Nosferatu has moved in the area and secured the Southall Mansion with the help of the local residents and members of the Lamport Hills Conference. All corners are currently powered, equipped with a radio transmitter and barricaded to EHB. Surrounding resource buildings in Lamport Hills, East Boundwood and Yagoton are currently maintained by Clan Nosferatu to provide survivors a secure stronghold in the area in case Bale Malls falls to another siege. --Mastiphal 01:41, 23 July 2007 (BST)

July 19th, 2007 It's the bottom of the 19th, bases are loaded, no outs, and the Survivors are up by 4. I'm not talking about a strange baseball game, it's Bale! We got all four corners occupied, four Gennies, and we've held for at least 4 days! Pat your selves on the back, people! I believe this is the longest we've held in a good while! Let's keep it up!!! --Driaquer 20:37, 19 July 2007 (PST)

July 16, 2007 The mall is ours, and we even have some Gennies up (need fuel, though), and some solid numbers. Once more, ALWAYS check for holes in the 'cades and patch them up! This means that if it idin't at EHB, put it up to EHB.--Driaquer 22:33, 16 July 2007 (BST)

July 14, 2007 Ok, the mall has been retaken by the zeds. South side of the mall is ransacked. Only four survivors left in the NE corner along with 23 zeds in the mall and 30 outside.

July 13, 2007 All sections at EHB, we need more survivors to help garrison the mall. Put some generators in too as none of the quadrants are powered.--ILoveAmp 5:18PM, 13 July 2007 (GMT)

July 12, 2007 Zombies are slowly, but surely filtering out of the mall. Many zombies still remain outside. I ask some zeds to stay at the mall, so it does not return to the hands of the filthy living. Amen. BoboTalkClown 15:28, 12 July 2007 (BST)

19 greenies remain. Go for the week corners first, and repair, then 'cade to lightly. --Driaquer 21:09, 12 July 2007 (BST)

July 11, 2007All humans dead, ~40 zombies total in mall @ 10:30 AM PST Open the doors if you can! Even N00B zeds can help out! BoboTalkClown 20:06, 11 July 2007 (BST)

We got just 24 greenies in the NE corner, kiddos. They've got us down. But a retake should be possible if we just HURRY! Cure you infections, step over there, and blow some heads off (unless a few moved closer to you, then take them down ;D)! Kill, Dump, Repeat. Yes, that was a very trenchcoaterish thing to say, but if we operate fast, we can have the mall back in our hands today. And I don't know about you, but I can't stand the searchrates in PDs and Hospitals. --Driaquer 12:57, 11 July 2007 (BST)

July 10, 2007 Around 60 zeds surrounding the mall. There was a very minor break in.BoboTalkClown 23:24, 10 July 2007 (BST)

July 9, 2007 Zombies are hacking away at the barricades, but they are holding. BoboTalkClown 00:16, 10 July 2007 (BST)

There was a very minor break-in (4zeds, tops) in the SW corner (note that Gennies are returning). Last I was there, there was one left, 'Cades at VSB, and at least two active survivors (or one with a FAST connection (I got cable and still get laggy)). Safe to say, it has been contained... --Driaquer 03:57, 10 July 2007 (BST)

July 8, 2007 There are around 50 zombies outside the mall. People in the southern half of the mall need to move north to even the defenses out. The zombie to survivor ratio looks to be around 1:1 Keep up the cades and good work -ILoveAmp 5:18PM, 8 July 2007 (GMT)

July 8, 2007 Survivors have retaken the mall with much greater numbers than before. If we all remain active and we don't act like lame sheep, we should be able to hold this fort against the Zeds here. Remember, run around the mall checking and restoring 'Cads EVERY TIME YOU LOG ON --Driaquer 07:13, 8 July 2007 (BST)

July 3, 2007 After a brief return of survivors to the mall, two corners were ransacked and the mall is set to fall again.

June 2007

June 24 2007 After a fierce battle no survivors are left in the mall. Ferals, opportunistic zombies and the forces of the Zombiefied Republic of !zanbah claim victory. --SiIIyLiIIyPiIIy 02:32, 27 June 2007 (BST)

June 20 2007

36 zombies in the NW corner! Geez. I tried running up and taunting them, but they were offline. Good times... -- Rusty Spade 09:47, 21 June 2007 (EST)

June 20 2007

Zombies are scattered throughout the mall, and the NW corner is ransacked with 18 zombies sleeping there. The danger level for Bale Mall is being predicted at a new high. -- Grogh 02:22, 21 June 2007 (BST)

June 18 2007

Following the recent seige of the Style Building, a small horde (mostly members of the Eastonwood Ferals) has breached the North East corner of the Mall. - Electriceye 00:46, 19 June 2007 (BST)

June 16 2007

With the retaking of the Whatmore Building in southern Yagoton, the danger level for Bale Mall is being predicted at a new low. It is asked of Bale Mall for volunteers to go rebuild the Whatmore Building before it can be retaken by zombies. -Koryr 20:25, 16 June 2007 (BST)

June 15 2007

Bale Mall is firmly in human hands, about 230 humans have taken shelter inside the mall as of this posting. However, reports have come in saying that the zeds are moving north. Please be alert. -Koryr 17:38, 15 June 2007 (BST)

April 2007

April 28 2007

Survivor numbers have reached 178 already and with most of the buildings in the immediate vicinity caded and powered, maybe the mall status could be changed from rebuilding to safe.

April 27 2007

All four corners powered and EHB. Survivor numbers are slowly growing and zed break-ins are getting fewer. The few break-ins have been easily replused by the survivors. Survivor numbers are 100 and growing.

April 25 2007

Three corners powered and all corners at EHB. roughly 80 survivors, but we need more people. Come on down and join the party at Bale!

April 24 2007

With a final push from the Grave Diggers, and several other remnant survivors, Bale Mall is back in survivor hands. one corner powered.

And there goes the NE Corner. 18 Zombie inside, good work, folks! Mrhton 23:22, 24 April 2007 (BST)

April 21st

Breathers continue to struggle to clear the mall, and fail. Zethren: I bashed the cades on St. Matthew's Hospital (45,9) down from Heavily to Lightly about 5 minutes ago, and they sprang up to Very Heavily in front of me about a minute later. Good eating in there, I bet, and could cut down on the headshots those of us holding the mall for zambahz are taking. --Mold 11:03, 21 April 2007 (BST)

April 13th

Bale was retaken by survivors for about half a day and is now back in zombie hands. Spearhead of the attack are the Grave Diggers and Death's Embrace.

April 12th

Bale Mall still has Zeds occupying it.

March 2007

March 9th
Bale Mall is ours now! Zombies will keep attacking the mall untill there are no humans left.. I've been personally responsible for breaking through the barricades on several occasions... all humans.. leave the mall... flee for your life...while you still can, or join the ranks of the undead. ~Weasle~ Lvl 42 Zombie

March 8th

Keep it unbiased. It's not the Fail mall.. >.> Bale Mall belongs to the zambahz once more. As of now there are 0 harmanz and 137 zambahz inside, including me.

About a hundred survivors in the mall, still under attach, now it's the second time that today zeds breaks through the 'cades... --Jean 00:03, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

February 2007

February 23rd

Only twenty or so zombies still in the mall. Clearance necessarily slowed by the inability to loot a ransacked building. Small pockets of survivors in the neighborhood are continuing their efforts to retake the Mall, but appear to lack the organization, ironically, of a mass of mindless zombies. --otherlleft W! 12:22, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

February 22nd

Bale has been officially destroyed. Only one survivor remains. Total zombie population inside mall: 44. Survivors are still attempting to empty the mall, killing a few zombies here and there.--Private Mark 21:49, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

February 20th

Currently, forecast calls for HEAVY zombie activity in the area. A total 103 zombies are found outside the NW side of Bale Mall, and a scattered few are attacking nearby buildings. Power in Bale is at 25%. Survivors are advised to prepare for another break in later tonight.--Private Mark 21:54, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

February 19th

As of about 10pm EST, all corners are at EHB, but with no power. There are roughly 110 survivors in the mall (only 6 of which are in the NW corner), and 96 zombies outside the NW corner. I would hazard a guess and say that the survivors aren't quite able to hold the mall at this point. Pedentic 03:13, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

The NW corner needs backup badly. All the survivors there are badly infected, and the barricades are non-existant. --MorthBabid 05:48, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Feburary 16th

Attack now, theres only 6 zeds inside mall with only one corner ransaked, rest at ehb

Now down to one zombie; But with zero survivor presence and the SW cades slowly falling, this fresh chance to retake the Mall might fall to the wayside. --MorthBabid 20:28, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

February 15th

Due to the actions of multiple PKer groups operating under both their own banners and the banner of the "St. Valentine's Cherubs" who cleared out 3.5 of the Mall's corners, the Mall has fallen to the zombies. --SirensT RR 14:29, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Many refugees from Bale Mall have been spotted going to Allder Row in Shearbank to issue a revivification request, as revives there are swift and there are zombies to fight at Stickling. --Pchem 15:06, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

February 14th

Upon reading the events which had transpired while logged off, I saw one a bit disturbing. A member of the Philosophe Knights stated that all survivors in the mall were going to be killed on, well, today. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Pedentic 03:55, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Dunnno if this is related, but a member of SillyLillyPilly killed me and at least six other people in the NW corner. Start of a massacre or random PKing - you decide! --Aloisius 05:16, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

UPDATE 9:00 EST Bale Mall is officially in the hands of PKers. Spread the love!

--Tokosan 20:05, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

February 7th

St. Spyridon's Church one of the entry points to the mall has fallen by a relatively small group of Zombies. Only 2 Survivors remain of the 12 guarding the entry point. --TheDuggler -Update- Still only 2 Survivors but the barricades are back up.

February 7th

Over 100 zombies are outside the mall, with small groups scattered in the surrounding suburbs. The mall is being used as a refugee point by survivors evacuation Caiger Mall, which has fallen, with 3 of the 4 corners firmly in zombie hands. --Tokosan 20:37, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

February 5th

Zombies have entered mall, currently in the process of decimating survivors. Reported numbers of at least 12 inside.--Private Mark 03:07, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Several break ins on the north west corner. Several survivors are infected, and the zombie hordes outside just keep coming! Nearby buildings are also being targeted. MrAushvitz Canadianflag-sm.jpg 05:28, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

February 1st

Bale Mall is still run by survivors, and it looks like its staying that way, though the zed count on the NW is continually rising, now at 100 zombies. --SomethingIsHappening 01:29, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

January 2007

January 27th

Bale Mall has been taken over by survivors again on all corners, each at EH barricade levels. About 80 zombies remain at the NW corner, along with 1 or 2 survivors failing to help stop them. --SomethingIsHappening 00:00, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

January 22nd Mall Tour 07 has broken into and ransacked the Northwest and Northeast Corners. The Southwest corner is under assault, and assualts on the Southeast are expected to begin any moment now. A number of survivors have been heard exclaiming, "Bail Bale!" --SirensT RR 06:10, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Update: Bale is cleared of Survivors, all four corners are ransacked. Rah Rah Rah! Gaaaah Zambahz! --SirensT RR 18:38, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

January 21st

The mall is under heavy attack with frequent break-ins in the north-west corner. The entire mall is currently without power and the number of zombies involved is rising daily. --Wood 20:54, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Update: The number of Zombies in the Upper Left Corner outnumber the survivors 13 to 1. Bale seems to be on the brink of falling. Redwave 00:25, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Update: The NW corner has been ransacked with 24 zombies and no suvivors. It\'ll take a miracle to save the mall now. Tugbottom 02:39, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

January 15th

Bale Mall is the next target for Mall Tour '07. --Roger Oveur 04:58, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

January 5th

The battle is still raging on and the survivors appear to be winning the battle. But someone made a mistake, random revives. Now once zed survivors can help the zeds to win. There are currently 38 zeds alive outside and countless dead bodies in piles, so who knows when they start standing and fighting the zeds still might win this.--Rodwy 00:03, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

January 3rd

Bale Mall is still holding at EHB in all corner, and very few break-ins. There seems to be a consistent zombie presence outside the mall, ranging between 50-80 zeds as they rise from the zombie pile. Around the same number of survivors seem to inhabit the mall, with most areas lit up with generators. --Robert McFarlane 15:34 3 January 2007 (GMT)

December 2006

December 21st

Bale Mall is currently holding, the zed threat, while high, seems to be failing in it's endeavors to breach the security... so far, only a few zeds have managed to get in, but are constantly being repelled. Mall is staying at at LEAST half powered, with more than two-dozen survivors in each section.

In other news, survivors jumped at the chance to embellish the mall with christmas lights and fir trees, mopping up the blood and feeding dead zeds to makeshift ovens and campfires. There's something hilarious about watching a flaming zed flee for his un-life outdoors, putting out the fire in the twenty-inch snow, but I can't place my finger on it...

--Private Mark 23:02, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

December 18th Bale Mall is under seige, though the barricades are now all over VS, there are 97 zombies outside the southwest corner. This appears to be a very organized horde, as they are all concentrated at the SW corner and there are no stragglers. The mall was broken into sometime less than 8 hours before this post. --Ruar 03:16, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Today, aeneid the Pker has murdered 5 survivors: Roving, Radical Bacon, Orie Shizuoka, Whitley Little, and Dauragon.

December 12th Bale Mall is now secure for the repopulation of survivors in the area, in part of the campaign carried by the Malton Rangers.

December 5th Bale Mall has been compromised. There are eighteen zeds in the SE and sixteen in the SW. Bale Mall is not safe for survivors at present. --Lestadt 19:36, 5 December 2006 (MDT)

December 3rd Survivors can now last the night in the mall, though there are still minor breakins - at current, about five zeds are swaying. One or two dead bodies can be found in every corner. The mall isn't completely safe yet, but with work, it will get there. --Micbit 19:29, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

November 2006

November 22nd Bale Mall is "gone", survivors have either left the premises or were killed. Contrary to below, the defenders were certainly NOT lax: We met each attack with an effective counterstrike. Unfortunately, the zombies had the final blow.... --Private Mark November 22, 2006 11:39 (CDT)

November 21st

As of this writing, there are roughly 25 survivors left in the SW corner, with 130 zombies in that same corner. The mall is doomed. Anyone left alive should evacuate. --Reaper with no name TJ! 17:55, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Bale Mall has the unfortunate distinction of having joined the group of Malls that have succumbed to the Shacknews Horde. Roughly 5 minutes ago the last corner of the mall was ransacked by a Shacknews Zombie and no humans are left inside. This siege, if you can even call it that, lasted just under 36 hours. Either the Horde is becoming more coordinated and more powerful (a very scary thought), or the Defenders were extremely lax. Either way the result is the same. --SniffleNose 18:59, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

November 20th

Bale Mall is still holding... the many survivors in other parts of the mall are holding against the zombie threat, and will soon retake SE Bale. --Private Mark 20:02 (CDT)

Um... no, they won't.

Tonight, Shacknews put 85 zombies in the SE corner and ransacked it. Bale is pretty much doomed at this point. The mall fell in just the second day of raiding.

Bale Mall officially RANSHACKED. :D 01:29, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

November 19th

Bale Mall attacked tonight, dozens dead, about 30 zeds standing in one corner. Will probably be cleared (of zombies) in a few hours. Cades definitely stayed down longer than at Caiger, though, because of smaller population.

One hour later, the doors are still open and the weakest corner has been reduced from 80 to 40 survivors. Could Bale fall in a single attack?

November 17th

Bale Mall and it's surrounding area has been experiencing an increase in Gkers and zombie spies. Generators are being broken quite often, but there is still a powerful gridwork of communication between the surrounding areas, and the perpetrators are slowly being called out and held accountable for their crimes.

Um, while that was happening, the Whatmore Building was ransacked. That's 1 of only 3 NT's in the Bale area down for good (or as long as Bale holds out, anyway). - Rheingold
And tonight NT #2, the Style building, collapsed under siege. Rheingold 06:17, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

November 16th Increasing unease in the mall as Yagoton comes under heavy fire from Shacknews, fresh off their unprecedented victory over Caiger. It's very unlikely that Bale will survive if sieged. So now might be the time to.... Bale out?

I wish you had signed that. Nonetheless, Shacknews likes to destroy resource buildings that have Gennies and or fuel tanks. Stock up. But an immeasurably easier task would be to simply leave. River Tactics. Criticize me on my talk page. Soadsod 03:27, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

November 15th Since the fall of Caiger, Bale Mall is experiencing a huge influx of zombie spies. Early this morning a number of alleged Shacknews spies arrived from Caiger. Five humans with brain rot, zombie skills, no human skills and no descriptions/group were observed sleeping in surrounding buildings. A few Bale Mall citizens killed these alleged zombie spies, which may discourage high-level survivors - including those with zombie skills - from aiding the mall's defense.

Allegedly, Shacknews's established M.O. is to scout the mall with human alts and report info on weaknesses before the invasion. Then shacknews hits all the surrounding NT buildings before attacking a chosen corner based on up-to-the-minute intel from embedded human allies.
