Blight Lane

Description

History

Blight Lane is a one way street that was often blocked off for street parties based on whatever movie is showing at Surtees Cinema. Last year, there was a week long improv dance contest held for the 25th anniversary showing of Breaking 2: Electric Boogaloo that featured local dance crews "serving" each other to the sounds of RUN DMC and the SugarHill Gang.

Upcoming events include a dog show to support Best in Show and a heavy metal concert for This Is Spinal Tap.

Most of the citizens of Pennville came out for these parties as they were always filled with costumed performers and great funnel cakes. However, the festivities for the anniversary of Night of the Living Dead were marred when real zombies stormed the concession stand and ate the help. Also, they ran out of Milk Duds.
