Description

A modern hospital with a red brick exterior, featuring accents of glass and steel. At the southern end a newly constructed wing draws more on the metalic elements of the architecture and rises a full 3 stories above the rest of the structure. This is one of two hospitals in Malton named Cyril General Hospital. The other Cyril General Hospital is located in Roachtown.

Barricade Policy

In accordance with the Uniform Barricade Plan, this building should be barricaded no heavier than "very strongly". Accordingly, it should be considered unsuitable for overnight stay.

History

The Hospital was originally financed by donations from the estate of Malton philanthropist, Dr. Reginald Cyril, with matching funds from private investors and charities. Dr. Cyril funded both hospitals that bear his name in Malton.

Cyril General Hospital is found in northwest Foulkes Village at GPS location [3, 83]. It is fortuitously located near two auto repair shops and factories ensuring a steady supply of generators and fuel for the area's surgeons. The headquarters of the Crew Avenue Police Department is also nearby. However, the nearest known NecroTech buildings are across the suburb, being the The Henley Building and The Delay Building at the southwestern corner of Nixbank. The nearest malls are two suburbs over, Tompson Mall in Lockettside and Marven Mall in South Blythville.

Cyril General has been designated as the primary medical facility for the Crew Avenue Police Department. The group currently maintains and protects the building, in addition providing medical services to all survivors.

Staff

The Crew Avenue Police Department currently manages of the hospital. The CAPD staffs the hospital with medical professionals, as well as providing housecalls from the hospital into the surrounding neighborhood.
