Description

Spitter Walk Railway Station is a train station located in the suburb of Pescodside. Once a bustling commuter paradise the platforms are now silent, the citizens all gone, and the faint moans of zombies can be heard in the distance.

The station was commissioned by Malton Rail. The station was built originally in 1947 as the primary loading dock for goods being shipped via freight train from the nearby pulp and paper factory. As such, the train station itself was fairly small and not meant for public transit. Later in 1963 Malton Rail trains traveling along the North-South Line doubled which led to commuter congestion at other nearby railway stations. It was due to this fact that Malton Rail made the decision by 1964 to expand the small station's operations to include public transport services, that is, after platform construction work was completed a few months later.

This empty railroad station was once a part of the city's now extinct Malton Rail system.

In mid-2002, due to the enormous traffic for the second Malton International Exhibition, the Malton Rail company clashed with local officials over the restricted capacity of the North-South Line. This was regarded as the stimulus for Malton Rail to build its own second line from Pescodside to Miltown which began in October 2002. This second line, which would have bypassed parts of the Purple, Yellow, Brown and Blue Lines, was considered 78% complete when the "Malton Incident" put a stop to all further construction.

Barricade Policy

This building should be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the mutually agreed-upon Pescodside Barricade Plan set forth by local survivor groups and the Dulston Alliance, who routinely work together to monitor that the barricades for this building are at the aforementioned level. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors.

Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any member of the Dulston Alliance or a vigilante-minded survivor who catches the culprit in the act. If this happens the accused survivor must present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly. So always be cautious lest you find yourself summarily executed for crimes against humanity.

Current Events

September 14th, 2008 - The Electric Light Torchestra recon reported that the railway station was in ruins. At this time there was 4 zombies inside and 2 more zombies were outside.
