knock? knock?

anybody home? --WanYao 06:08, 7 August 2007 (BST)

We're still around. None of us bother with the wiki much. It's not a pleasant place. There are a few nice folks, but waaaaaay too many wankers. Dog Deever TNec 02:31, 16 September 2007 (BST)
Fair enough and quite understandable... I was just looking for a way to contact you'se... I've seen a few of you around Old Arkham, but you're a quiet lot... :)

We generally use in-game communications between each other, have no leadership and are utterly unorganized, with different members working on different pet projects. Dog Deever TNec

Hi, this is sunnyside from the Caiger Mall Survivors (META). Just noticed you coming onto the scene and figured I should say hi. If you ever want to get ahold of me I can be reached at neoncoax@yahoo.com we help out other groups when the mall isn't under siege. Oh and since I'm generally spreading the word you should consider using one of the revive tools like tinyurl.com/zmmas or cdf.aypok.co.uk (doesn't matter to much which as they share data now) and put up appropriate graffiti at necrotech buildings and revive points. By doing that you increase the odds of getting you members getting revived, and you won't waste syringes or AP on brainrotted zombies in the revive lines, you'll also be able to stop revive people that've PKed your members. Also, just for good form, you should consider updating the wiki suburb map (the one linked in the FAQ link at www.urbandead.com it just helps everyone out and people in the area might start recognizing you from your posts there.

I enjoy your group image. --Ron Burgundy 01:16, 1 May 2006 (BST)

from Dog Deever of the Necronauts

Cheers guys, most of us are very new to the game and are trying to settle in. Personally, i'm finding your barricading policy tough. I'm a lvl1 consumer, i don't have free running and have only just found an axe. I cant get into the Mall to stock up on weapons & ammo to raise my XPs enough to get me the free running skill, and some others of our guys are the same. Everytime there is a rot upsurge from Creedy Fort, the weakest players are left to the mercy of them. It also limits how far you can travel because of the lack of VS barricaded buildings in the area. Its a tough place Pitneybank- caught between Creedy and Giddings Maul. We've also had trouble with PKers, some of them targetting our group. It's getting hard to find decent shelter but we're survivin'! I'm sure other Necs will speak for themselves when they discover this section!-Dog Deever 01:59, 19 May 2006 (BST)

Salutations to you too

DISCOVERED! We've just been getting to our feet and we're completely disorganised at the moment. We're just building up AP to make us a bit more of a force to be reckoned with. I reckon our numbers will also be dropping to a more managable number over the next few weeks. The Peppardville, Pitneybank and Spracklingbank suburbs have been hard work, but its starting to feel like home. How do we update the wiki suburb map? It has been essential in our early days. - Brian McClair

Hello

I've seen a lot of you in the Peppardville-Giddings area. Come by our forum and say hello sometime! We like to keep in touch with our neighbors. Also, I fear our barricading policy is causing you some problems in Peppardville, which is something we can work out. Enoch the Watcher 22:29, 21 May 2006 (BST)

Malton Anarchist Federation

Feel free to come chat and chill with us at our forum (linked off of the M(A)F wiki page), and we would love to work together in the future. This is my in-game name, and I'm a member of the Malton Anarchist Collective, one of the founding collectives of the federation. --Luigi Galleani M(A)C | M(A)F 16:46, 27 August 2006 (BST)

The enemy of my enemy is my friend

Philo Beddoe here. I've been playing UD in this present incarnation for about 5 months now. I quit a previous existence due to some organized unpleasantness last year.

First thought Malton World Cup Committee / Malton's Most Wanted members, Shiv Jones, Gondo Gondo, Zumm Zero and what's happened had joined up with the Necronauts, after some research I see that clearly isn't so. Guess that's the trouble with being so cool, everyone wants to be in your crew ;) Just goes to show you can't polish mule stool. See you around. --PCR. 12:56, 14 Feb 2007 UTC

Cheers Philo, hope you don't mind, but I added the image to the group page. -Dog Deever TNec 18:59, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

A proposal

We at the IC Chapter have come today to ask an alliance of you, against a foolish idea. As you well know, we have begun to protest against the Barricade-lowering foolishness. We ask that you assist us in helping to combat this by spraying over tags and killing and not reviving a number of profiles that try to force this upon us. If you wish to assist us in our war against the hypocrites, leave us a message at our page. Thanks. -- Kamden 19:25, 9 April 2007 (BST)

We also have a forum if you want to get in touch with any of us - joining is free & membership approved quickly. -- CrystalEyes 19:57, 16 April 2007 (BST)

A Better Proposal

We at the New Arkham Free Zone are sort of wondering why we have other groups who formerly had nothing to do with an abandoned suburb allying against us. We ask you to reconsider what you're doing. We're not a bunch of crazy tyrants, many of us are from established Malton groups looking to do something different in the game. With groups like the IC Chapter and now you trying to stop us at every turn, in what was formerly an abandoned suburb, you really are starting to make this game seem a little... well, close minded. I don't know about you, but I play this game for fun - that's what we're trying to do in this suburb, yet all we're met with are groups going: "Barricade loweing fools!! We will stop you!!"

Please don't be jerks, that's all we're asking. New Arkham was an abandoned suburb and now, because a group that formerly had nothing to do with it 'dislikes' our idea, we're suddenly offset by enemies. This idea will be fun, we're not just lowering barricades, we're trying to make a suburb where we can organise greater things than just zombie sieges and mall forts.

Either way, thank you for reading, I mean if you did. I urge you to discuss why you dislike our idea on our forums -- LordOlam 10:42, 16 April 2007 (BST)

New Arkham wasn't abandonned - we've been actively there since last year!! We had a wiki page, we were an official group - who-ever decided it was abandoned hadn't done their homework. We are merely trying to protect our home. -- CrystalEyes 19:52, 16 April 2007 (BST)
You're hands say no but your allies say yes. Uncle Whippity has stated with quite some regularity claims that the IC Chapter has been in New Arkham for 5 months, You claim a year. Doing homework, phooey and psha, there was no way to find any reference connecting your group and New Arkham until some time after the Free Zone Project was proposed but you don't ever mention that bit. Protect your home? Seem a weird way to protect your home when your home is 6 blocks on one side of a border and 3 in the one you are trying to protect. Your first response was threats of ruining a project in a suburb you were not listed as part of and were barely in, instead of asking if there was a deal to be proposed so that your 3 blocks could be exempt from the greater Free Zone rule you decided to attempt to hostility, threaten, type aggressively, and now recruit allies to destroy a project that hurts no on and quite frankly changes nothing in the game at large. My point is this isn't about being against you and if you would actually take time to communicate with the people in the Free Zone project then mabey you would find that your suppossed problem is no problem at all. I'm also posting this on their{IC Chapter} forums. --karek 03:48, 17 April 2007 (BST)
I actually said we've been there SINCE LAST YEAR - meaning from several months ago. We've been active on wiki since before these plans came into existence. We only want to keep our turf as OURS & not have to relocate - a fair request i think. I've joined the tk forum & am happy to talk about a solution that fits both of us - we don't want a war any more than you do. -- CrystalEyes 15:02, 17 April 2007 (BST)

The Collapse of the Free Zone

It appears that the Free Zone as an idea has fallen apart. There has been next-to-no activity on www.newarkham.tk in almost a month other than plans to leave and abandon the suburb. As such there are currently loads of ferals ripping up the whole suburb without direction. Would you guys be interested in working together with the I.C. Chapter in rebarricading the suburb so that we can give all survivors a chance to at least gain a foothold? Any help would be much appreciated!
