Zerging, shortspace and You

Care to explain these two profiles:

shortspace4 and shortspace2.

Can you say zergs? Please rectify the situation so that your group is not known as a zerging group.  Billy Club Thorton  T!  RR  00:58, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Upon examining the situation, I realize that your group is now defunct. These characters are simply sporting your tags.  Billy Club Thorton  T!  RR  17:03, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Vandalism, and your group page

OK, I think it's time you stopped encouraging others to edit your group page. Please take out all the contributions others have made, and leave a notice in a prominent position advising them to go to this talk page if they want to talk to you -- boxy T L ZS Nuts2U DA 03:55, 9 May 2007 (BST)

Update on archives

It seems that this talk page is where people, well, talk. So, as to not overload this page I will be moving comments older than 5 days.

Today, I moved off a large stack of stale comments into the archives. --8 Bucks 19:32, 29 June 2007 (BST)

Apologies

May 21

Dear Fausta,

I do apologise for PK'ing you, I'm very sorry, it won't happen again. I didn't take offence to your rather harsh words and threats as you passed, but I was dismayed that you didn't hang around long enough for my reply. So when I saw you later I thought it best for me to make sure you didn't move before we started a chat, think of it as me nailing your feet to the ground to ensure your attention. I do admit, that a shotgun is slightly more powerful than a 3m stapler, but it was all I could lay my hands on at the time.

I have received lots of furrowed brows and pointy fingers from my fellow PP members as a result of my heavy handedness, and will take my subsequent birching like a man.

Love and hugs, your favourite Fleshy Sarge xxx --Sgt Fleshmonger 16:42, 21 May 2007 (BST)

Aaah, that's so sweet Sarge and thanks for making it so prominent. I only drop by occasionally so to find your apology at the top of the page, out of order, was a thoughtful gesture . I'm not sure I forgive you yet though, have you done your lines? All of them? I'll count them you know. And as for the lack of a staple gun, we were in the Mall at the time you could have searched the hardware store.--Fausta Gummings 20:56, 25th May 2007 (BST)
P.S. Please could you pass my apologies on to Romero, the apostrophe has been added and thanks for the excuse to drink the bottle of wine I've been carrying for weeks. Damn, apparently education does work!

So much for Izumi moving Rika to a new area.

Oh, and I killed the generator as punishment for harboring zergers. Barf Chunk--8 Bucks 20:05, 18 June 2007 (BST)

First off, I made that comment AFTER the events in the screenshot. The only reason I hadn't moved since was because I was away on vacation. Rika is now out of Lockettside. Now quit making accusations you can't back up. Izumi Orimoto 01:21, 19 June 2007 (BST)

Oh, but I CAN back it up, my mendacious little cheater. Your ever-so-righteous declaration of compliance with the rules was made at 9:32 p.m BST on Thursday, June 14. I posted the screenshot as soon as I logged in with that alt, which, as you can see, was slightly more than three hours after it happened, meaning the events in the screenshot transpired at approximately 8:30 a.m. BST on Friday, June 15 (give or take 15 minutes or so, and I do have the full screenshot on which the day and time can be clearly seen on my computer clock). To put it into terms even you can understand, your badass-wannabe Rika made her screenshot threats a good 11 hours after you said here that she was leaving. If I may borrow a phrase from one of the great intellects on this discussion page ... are you stupid? --Ghidorah 02:17, 19 June 2007 (BST)

Ya know what? I don't care. Its a game. A stupid little internet game. After getting out for awhile and away from my comp at last (I'd been stuck inside for the last 3 months on account of a fractured leg) I realized that. I'll play the way I like, and if you consider it cheating, tough titties. :)

As long as the countermeasures don't kick in its fine with me. Now I'm bored talking with you guys, its been a pleasure. Really. Take care, now! :)Izumi Orimoto 02:44, 19 June 2007 (BST)

What exactly do you think GMT is? Perhaps you should go look both it and British Standard Time up and get back to me. You'll find you're not quite as knowledgeable as you think you are. Of course you won't do it, so I'll tell you. Greenwich Mean Time is the equivalent of Standard Time in the US. British Standard Time is essentially Daylight Saving Time--meaning that, even taking the posts' times at GMT, which is a paltry one hour behind BST, Rika still made her threats 11 hours after you said she was leaving. --Ghidorah 02:38, 19 June 2007 (BST)
Looks like you realized your mistake before I had time to post my response ... good timing. ;-) By all means play the game as you wish, but recognize that everyone else has the same right, whether you like it or not. --Ghidorah 02:41, 19 June 2007 (BST)

True that. :) Izumi Orimoto 02:43, 19 June 2007 (BST)

I'm sure I'll catch you cheating again Izumi. And I'll enjoy griefing you and all your little buddies. I'll laugh my ass off when you find yourself in the same situation as Godhack. --8 Bucks 15:11, 19 June 2007 (BST)

Duke Cage's edit of this group's main page is vandalism, and could get him banned from the wiki. I know this because I was personally warned when I used to edit this group's main page. So no acrimony Duke, just FYI - you gotta put your comments back HERE. --Squid Boy 18:17, 21 June 2007 (BST)

It was not my intention to vandalize, as I noted in my post. My comments shall be here now. Mike Smith rules.

Wait... how is Izumi on vacation AND at home for months with a broken leg? - Mr. Anonymous

My leg has been healed for the last two weeks, baka. Izumi Orimoto 03:06, 24 June 2007 (BST)

25 June

Where are the Profile Police, anyway? I haven't seen any sign of them, except for Mighty Axewound's and Sgt JAW's corpses outside Tompson Mall. It's rather dull without them. --Ghidorah 11:41, 25 June 2007 (BST)

Another 3 confirmed dead in south blythville I'd be happy but I only claimed one. --Inquisitor Darius 12:34, 25 June 2007 (BST)

26 June

After a short nap, Barf Chunk is gearing up for a travelling lecture series. Stay tuned for more of his Carnival of Chaos!

29 June

Just want to say that I do not support the vandalism of your site and that i'm glad you kept backups. Feel free to shoot Sarah Silverman down once without any reprisals from me. --Inquisitor Darius 13:45, 29 June 2007 (BST)

What did I miss? --Ghidorah 23:58, 29 June 2007 (BST)

30 June

The page was in a defaced state this morning, seemingly by a young Sarah Silverman beckoning the P.P. to try find her and kill her. --Inquisitor Darius 00:20, 30 June 2007 (BST)

Ha! She wishes she were Sarah Silverman. She's not all that hard to find, either. I see her in Tompson Mall all the time. --Ghidorah 20:49, 30 June 2007 (BST)
The name of the vandal didn't match Sarah, so I doubt it was her. Either way, the admins caught it and fixed it before any PP even saw it.--8 Bucks 23:53, 30 June 2007 (BST)

1 July

Part of the graffiti said "My name is Sarah Silverman come at get me!" --Inquisitor Darius 03:35, 1 July 2007 (BST)

I'll let Sarah speak for herself next time I see her. If her profile is in order, then I probably won't have to kill her. --8 Bucks 17:42, 1 July 2007 (BST)

2 July

The role of our group is peace activism, it seems I forgot that for awhile. The Valkyries are hereby exiting the war with the Profile Police and will no longer condone the killing of its members. Izumi Orimoto 05:26, 2 July 2007 (BST)

Are you going to stop zerging as well?--8 Bucks 14:15, 2 July 2007 (BST)

Due to the reinstatement of our "forgotten" policy, we can't kill anything whatsoever.Izumi Orimoto 19:58, 2 July 2007 (BST)

That policy doesn't say anything about maiming right? I mean you can get someone to 1 HP As long as someone else kills em? :-) --Inquisitor Darius 09:38, 3 July 2007 (BST)

5 July

Now that it is exactly a month since the last announcement on the PP's main page, I have to question.. Is the Profile police still alive? I have enjoyed Barf Chunk's rogue teaching sessions, but since he surfaced, I've seen next to no activity from the Profile Police. Has the group possibly disbanded? I could just have my characters in the wrong place, but it almost feels as if the PP is old news to Lockettside. If this is the end, it WAS a good run, and I did thuroughly enjoy the drama between both the PP and it's sworn enemies. Also, Izumi, I'm saddened to see you've chosen such a nonaggressive approach, but going against your own group's policy WOULD be in bad taste. Best of luck in your future... nuetral operations.--StapleDog 09:20, 5 July 2007 (BST)

I still see these guys in lockettside but in all honesty they just die too quickly to be effective, I mean they die before I can get to them now! They made that many enemies in the lockettside region and it's surrounding 'burbs that they just can't really get organised enough to really do anything other than single or two man raids at St Alexanders. --Inquisitor Darius 09:52, 5 July 2007 (BST)

That's sad, because I find their exploits entertaining as well.--Mrite 23:00, 5 July 2007 (BST)

9 July

Barf Chunk is doing his part. I can't speak for the rest of the PP. --8 Bucks 22:36, 9 July 2007 (BST)

The Profile Police have dropped off the group rankings, which, since they have more than 10 members, means the majority of them haven't even signed in recently. That makes me sad. --Ghidorah 11:36, 10 July 2007 (BST)

11 July

Jaw and Axewound seem to no longer even bother raising their corpses from Tompson Mall's parking lot. I haven't seen either of the Trots in weeks, and as for the rest of them.... they seem to just not exist anymore. Barf, you're doing a great job, but I'm afraid the rest of the group may have disbanded behind closed doors. Mayhaps they lost heart, or just couldn't handle the sheer amount of enemies they made, but regardless, I fear they've disbanded behind closed doors. Maybe inner conflict or something. I do wish at least one of them would look at their page, though. I would at least like to give them a good bye. --StapleDog 07:18, 11 July 2007 (BST)

Goodbye!

We've signed off, on the main page. Sorry Barf, it's probably best if the entire group disbands. We'll contact you if and when we return. It was a good innings, but our goal over the last four months, that of public education and group notoriety has long since been achieved. I hope other PP members come back and sign off here.

Our thanks to all the supporters of the PP, all the defenders of Literacy, and even those members of the Legions Of Illiterates who've made the fight more interesting. Even you, Izumi. Farewell.--The trot man 10:05, 11 July 2007 (BST)

The time to fade from the public arena is upon us, even after a long stint in the Mall, mainly as an observer (and because it felt nice to be back after being away for the Marven Mall Mission). I am off to RIP for a while...I may be some time. Thanks to all the PP supporters and detractors, it was joyous! Sgt JAW 14:10, 11 July 2007 (BST)

Was a lot of fun having a reason to kill people, especially after a few beers! Big up the PP supporters, death to all Illiterates! The PP Rock! To the bar... Mighty Axewound, 11 July 2007 (BST)

Don't you hate when you're the last person to show up to a really good party, and the cops show up 10 minutes later? That's a bit how I feel. Oh well. I'll mope around a bit, and probably wander the city mumbling to myself. As it it the middle of summer, I guess I can find some part-time work doing other things around Malton until the start of another school year. - Barf Chunk

At least you went out in a blaze of glory, Barf! --Ghidorah 01:48, 12 July 2007 (BST)

cya guys its been fun hunting you - Blood red bread
