Office buildings are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used. Office buildings can be barricaded normally.

The Hardy Building

Description

An air of abandoned mystery emanates from this old building. The windows are boarded up, with wind whistling through the broken glass panes of the old casement windows. A faded sign for a forgotten private investigation agency hangs unevenly above the door from a single hook.

History

Many years ago this building was bought by brothers Frank and Joe Hardy, once renowned young detectives from the East Coast town of Bayport. Their teenage days were rife with danger and conspiracies, many of which the brothers had a hand in bringing to the light of the law. Wishing to strike out on their own the Hardy Boys came to Malton with visions of adventures and good deeds to be had. They didn't last long after the Zombie Apocalypse hit, since all their intelligence could fathom the supernatural forces manifesting in Malton. Frank turned as a result of a zombie bite and Joe slowly lost his mind trying to care for his big brother...
