History

The Leggatt Hotel is one of two hotels in Millen Hills, and undoubtedly the uglier of the two. However; this was not always so. Just as Millen Hills was originally full of the rich and famous, so was the Leggatt designed with the rich in mind. Costing over three million dollars at the time, it was one of the costliest projects to ever come out of turn of the century Malton with its marble staircases and beautiful stone passageways. But thanks to the end of steel-making in Malton, the rich soon ran out, and the Leggatt nearly went into ruin. It adapted, however, first into apartments for the middle class and soon the poorest of the poor.

After struggling through the Depression, the hotel came swinging with a new goal in mind: Cheap digs for the prostitutes next door. It worked wonders for money, but wrecked havoc as far as public opinion. Undeterred by the bad reputation, the Leggatt used its new-found income to stimulate the economy in Millen Hills, constructing Club Spirod, The Saint Building, and The Arch Building, and in addition forcing the creation of a police department nearby to patrol these new areas. Indeed, the Leggatt could probably be credited for making the Hills what they are today- though you'd be hard pressed to find someone who would agree with you!

Today, the Leggatt Hotel is keeping up operations as usual, and as always, we ask you: Would you like a full bed or an empty one?

Barricade Policy

As per the Millen Hills Barricade Plan, the Leggatt Hotel is to be kept at EHB.
