Description

A nondescript ruddy brick building with concrete steps and a yellowed sign with faded text offering candy. Creepy place...

History

In late 1940, a very disturbed Mr. Rustin Parr abducted eight youths from town with promises of candy and took them to his building. He was either unable or unwilling to resist a voice calling him to conduct a grisly killing spree. While a search for the youths over the next couple months continued the voice in his head kept telling him to "kill and eat". Parr left one alive, the bastard child Kyle Brody, believing his unknown parentage making him unfit. He slaughtered the other seven, consuming their flesh in front of Kyle, including Brody's young girlfriend, Emily Hollands. Witnessing these events shocked the sanity from the poor young man.

One night in early 1941, after killing the seventh, Parr awoke to see a cloaked woman in his room. While he couldn't see her clearly, he knew who it was. She spoke in the same horrible voice that had plagued him for over a year. She told him that he was finished, and she would leave him alone if he told everyone in town what he did the next day. Parr released Brody the following morning, and declared that he had "finally finished the meal" as he was arrested. Police searched the building and found the skeletons of the seven kids. Rustin Parr was executed by Sgt. Ronald Hollands, Emily's father, via a pistol shot to the head after a short nauseating trial. Despite being considered a "survivor", Kyle Brody soon developed a flesh eating frenzied desire of his own. He was taken to NecroTech for further treatment.

The event tore the suburb apart, causing some to speculate that The Parr Building, supposedly being the first place in Malton where eating human flesh took place, somehow heralded the rise of the zombies years later. There were many public pleas for it's demolition that went unheeded. So the building stood condemned until MalTel agreed to buy The Parr Building solely due to it's central location and height. They saw to it that the building was brought up to code just enough for a mast and power to be installed, but many employees avoid it to this day.

-Personal note: The previous history version had really bad grammar and even worse taste; even my rework couldn't save it from being a rather repulsive entry. Ugh... MR2Di4 (talk) 07:18, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
