A History of Violence

Originally suggested by Krae on the Sanguinus.Org forums, the B-Team was a loose affiliation of UD players from that game. The informal founding of the group occurred when Krae and Harman Carp travelled across Malton to reinforce Vulcana in February 2006. Shortly thereafter the trio were violently reduced to shambling, brain-eating hordes (a state with which Krae, at least, was familiar, having spent an exciting night in Mockridge Heights). The trio stumbled aimlessly until they reached the Broadway Drive Revive Point in Dartside, and - upon return to the living - set up shop in Vine Cinema in the extreme Northeastern corner of Lockettside, convenient to the Broadway Revive Point and the Highton NecroTech Building in Dartside, and the Marven Mall in South Blythville. This was the official founding of the group, in early February 2006; joining the trio at the Vine Cinema hideout were Princess Toadstool, Stone Edwards, and Marvin Green.

As early as late March, the area became unlivable, suffering nightly break-ins by the horde (reported to be advance fringes of an encroaching RFF invasion), and constant attacks by PKers Ascendant Evincar and Guttermouth. The group began scouting for more habitable climes, eventually discovering the relatively quiet suburb of Buttonville. There, they set up a safehouse in Snow Library, and assisted in the defense of the Southwestern corner of the suburb.

After constant harassment of female squad members by PKer, griefer, and sexual predator George Castanza, the group embarked on a mission to Tapton, helping to impement a UBP-compliant Barricade Plan in that suburb, allying themselves with the local Ständige Vertretung and Phil's Freaks. This was their final mission, and officially disbanded shortly after trickling back to Buttonville.

Mission Statement

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can settle for second best, maybe you can hire... The B-Team

The B-Team was committed to defense of Buttonville, and in particular the Southwestern Quadrant including the Pryor Necrotech Building. Alliances were formed with a few of the survivor groups in the area, including The Randoms and The 3rd Waye; the B-Team was also a member of the Anti-Smurf Brigade as of September 2006. Revive services were available by request only, though B-Team medical technicians also revived from the Randoms' Revive Request thread.
