Character description:
Penny Black looks at first glance like your typical Goth girl. She is pale and slender, of medium height, with dyed black hair, dark make-up and greyish-blue eyes. She wears a pair of grey CyberTartan Bondage pants, a pair of really big boots, a flak jacket with a bat-winged ankh crudely printed across the chest and fishnet stockings on her arms. She carries a smallish black backpack in fake leather with several large spikes attached, and a fire axe on which she has carved an Ankh. In a makeshift leather holster by her side she carries a sawn-off shotgun with the remainder of the stock painted black and with some glittery plastic beads glued on, and a few shells.
Penny was born Sheryl Ainsworth at the Neot General Hospital in North Blythville, but has spent most of her life living in the northeastern part of Malton. Before the outbreak she would hang out with her friends at the Club Barling in Pennville, or go shopping at one or other of the malls. She was also very fond of reading horror novels, and spent a lot of time in the Martland Library reading, mostly because it was close to her school, so she wouldn't have to go far when skipping classes. Sheryl started calling herself Penny Black on IRC, mostly because DarkRaven was already taken.
After the outbreak, she fled and tried to hide in her grandmother's house in East Boundwood, but was discovered and devoured. She has only recently regained consciousness after the ordeal, and is now trying to find a new purpose in life by uniting the other Darkfolks of Malton.
