Basic Info:

  • Warehouses can be barricaded normally.

Description

Humans and zombies alike will see the following (permanent) description when standing outside the building:

"You are standing outside a warehouse, a derelict metal-and-glass building with a spired roof."

Such a description is always followed by a report of the building's condition (e.g. the level of its barricades), but since that report is never permanent and always subject to change, it is redundant to include it here as well.

History

This warehouse was built in 1928 and has since had a very colourful past. After surviving through a world war and The Great Depression and numerous fires it was left abandoned. In 1958 a part of the Russian Mafia that was based in Dentonside bought the warehouse over and used it for organised crime. Seven years later in 1965 the warehouse came back up for sale and the small quadrant of the mafia in Dentonside seemed to have disappeared without a trace from the whole of Malton. The warehouse was not wanted by anybody in Dentonside due to its rather shady past and as such was up for sale for over 20 years. In 1985 the warehouse was bought by some developers at a very cheap price because of the general damage, age and shady past of the building. They renovated the building and eventually sold the asset to a small firm who where based in Dentonside, Malton and stored shipping crates for other company's in Malton. Like the other two warehouses the building was secured by the firm in the first few hours of the outbreak. But then later broken into by survivors who found most of the goods inside the crates moderately useful but some of the other goods totally useless during this type of situation.

Barricading

According to the current Dentonside Barricade Plan this building is to be kept at VSB levels!
