The Shadow is a secret Special Ops group operating under the 501st Battalion. They are extremely ruthless to their targets and will stop at nothing to finish their objectives.

Sergeant Corinthias noted that in order to successfully obtain intel, a group must be formed to retrieve it and bring it to the superiors. This group started out as codename Blackhawk and consisted of 12 soldiers before the zombies attacked Fort Perryn. Codename Blackhawk was an instant success, bringing in more intel than the superiors believed. After the attack, Blackhawk was eradicated, and the three surviving sergeants found Columbanus Church.
While there, Sergeant Corinthias still wanted another group like Codename Blackhawk. When Drake Forewatcher joined the 501st, Corinthias took note of his intelligence and guile abilities. Three days later, he spoke with Forewatcher about forming the Shadow. Drake agreed and was promoted to Captain.
Unfortunately, near the end of 2008, the Shadow was ambushed and slaughtered. It is now open to any with necessary skills.
