Adalbert General Hospital (East Grayside)

Adalbert General is a hospital located in the north-east corner of East Grayside, a suburb of Malton. It adjoins both a NecroTech Office and a Police Station, providing a range of supplies within walking distance. This is one of four hospitals located in East Grayside. The other hospitals are:

Presently, The Muffin Clan [[1]], a loose association of like-mined individuals consisting of Roxie Beretta aka zombieprincess, the reformed PK'er Edward Finch, the lovely Morgan aka kik the kid, our esteemed Sgt. Roach Anderson, and several others, provide medical care, revives and muffins to the visitors of Adalbert. [[2]] But...Tomorrow is Friday (TIF) previously maintained this hospital's operating status and barricade level. Many thanks to Dr. Laura Solis and Mr. Felix Scherer for their inspiration. May they be at peace, wherever they are.

Lead Doctors: Roxie Beretta aka zombieprincess

This group/location has a dedicated radio frequency.
Frequency: 26.19 MHz

Transmitter coordinates: 69,81

Note: In recent months Adalbert Hospital and the surrounding area was the focus of several sieges. But..Tomorrow is Friday has all but disappeared. Doctors Felix and Laura have vanished. Whether they are dead or have joined the ranks of the undead is unknown. Should anyone come to this hospital, You will be greeted with freshly baked muffins by a surviving member of the staff. ---- Brett Styles. The friendly Muffin Clan, headed up by Roxie Beretta, will be happy to see to your needs. You are welcome to join The Muffin Clan for baked goods and conversation at!forum/the-muffin-clan

NecroTech and Revivification

Should you need revivification, there is an actively maintained revive point 2S of the hospital at Mathews Park. Please respect the sacred ground rules for revive points in that zombies waiting to be revived and survivors (either passing or doing the reviving) will not attack each other in the park revive point. This revive point is watched and transgressions will not go unpunished.

Zombies at Mathews Park revive point will be DNA scanned and those discovered with Brain Rot are likely to be killed on sight. Revivification can be faster by placing your request on the Mathews Park Talk Page.

The nearest NecroTech facility to the hospital is the adjacent Showers Building, just 1E for finding revivification syringes.

Barricade Policy

In accordance with the East Grayside Barricade Plan, this site is to be kept at Very Strongly Barricaded (VSB+2), in order to permit entry by rookies and those needing Free Running access. In the event of heavy zombie activity, barricades may be temporarily upgraded to EHB, but should be lowered back to VSB as soon as possible thereafter. As a hospital, it is important that every effort be made to keep an "open door" policy (i.e. VSB+2 barricades) so that all survivors have access to medical assistance for dealing with injuries and/or infections. However, due to the constant zombie heckling, we have increased the barricades to EHB+. Younglings can enter the nearby junkyard and expect an in-house doctor visit shortly.

In Case of Over-barricading

If this location becomes over-barricaded, please report the hospital's status to TIF.
If in need of treatment, please make yourself comfortable in one of the surrounding buildings and a doctor will be with you shortly, if one is on hand.

Other Entry Points near Adalbert General Hospital include:

(date unknown) - At the moment not yet decided. But it is suggested by Special Tactics And Rescue Squad Barricade Plan that this building should be Extremely Heavily Barricaded making it good as a safehouse but inaccessible to survivors without the Free Running Skill.

Hospital Policies

Health and Safety

This Hospital operates to the following set of health and safety standards set by the Malton Hospitals Group:

  • This hospital is to be powered and fueled at all times.
  • Damaged barricades are to be repaired and kept at VSB+2.
  • One doctor is to remain in this hospital at all times.
  • If there are staff to spare, make local ambulance runs to support survivors outside the hospital.
  • Keep a radio transmitter inside the building, tuned to the frequency, 26.19 MHz.

Healing in times of Siege

In times of heavy siege, first aid kits can become scarce and so this is the order for healing patients, should things begin to look dire. Please adhere to this plan:

  1. Heal those infected by zombie bites first.
  2. Heal active players (especially if they have just killed a hostile zombie).
  3. Heal those with less than 13HP so they cannot be dragged out into the street should the barricades come crashing down..
  4. Heal those with less than 25HP so they are not targeted as "wounded" by zombies.

Disruptive Visitors

Visitors and patients who are known to be Player Killers, Generator Killers or Radio Killers will be warned and closely monitored. Hospital staff are at liberty to insist such people leave should they begin causing trouble (by taunting or attacking). Failing this, physical removal will occur. Please be assured this is only if there is trouble.

The hospital staff have the right to work in a safe, zombie free environment without the fear of humans turning against them too. This Hospital policy will be enforced.

To prevent abuse, proof of PK'ing, GK'ing or RK'ing should be announced to those around you before beginning "annoying person removal" procedures.
