Basic Info:

  • A monument is a city block containing a statue or similar piece of public art, without a building in it. It is functionally equivalent to a street, except that players with the Tagging skill can gain 2 XP for writing graffiti on a monument.
  • This is, game-play wise, an empty block, and cannot be barricaded.
  • After the July 3, 2009 update, some monuments became tall and can be seen from a distance with binoculars

Description

Humans and zombies alike will see the following (permanent) description when standing in front of the monument:

"You are at the Haynes Monument, a grey stone statue with a crack running across it."

AquaReviv.jpg

This is one of three revive points in the suburb of Santlerville and Heytown. It is an active revive point operated by the Five Critics.

Requesting Revivification

Don't bother...only members of Five Critics and allies thereof will be receiving revives.

Etiquette at the Revive Point

Rotter Policy

Random revives are not supported. Each zombie stood at the revive point will be DNA scanned and their profile checked to ensure they do not have Brain Rot nor belong to a known DNR (do not revive) list. Those with Brain Rot or on the DNR list are assumed to be blocking the revive point and will be shot repeatedly until dead.

If you're a brain rotter, we suggest you visit the The Finch Monument and plead your case with The Dribbling Beavers. The Critics just don't have time for this nonsense.

For Revivers: Please Read

If you are reviving someone at the Dymond Monument please, please make sure you DNA scan them first and check their profile against the "Do Not Revive" lists (that our friends The Dribbling Beavers maintain forum pages) and also check their group (in their profile and on the Urban Dead Wiki).

People new to reviving have been known to revive members of known PK Groups and Zombie Groups as well as KOS people. Clearly, this is completely insane:

  • You just revived someone who is listed on the Do Not Revive list
  • They are now going to go out and either spy or cause a lot of trouble
  • You have just wasted a whole load of AP and a syringe on an unwanted revive
  • You have just denied a legitimate person a revive that would have been useful

Please check who you revive as bringing someone back to life has much bigger consequences than just gaining a few XP

Suggested Safe-house

AquaHospital.png

The nearest Hospital is Sixtus General Hospital just a few blocks west of here at [74,30]. This is a designated entry point according to the Santlerville Barricade Plan and is maintained at VSB+2.

As you are likely to be injured or even infected, Sixtus General Hospital is the nearest and best place to head for after returning to life as the Hospital staff there are trained in First Aid, Diagnosis and Surgery and will ensure you are patched up in no time.

Sixtus General Hospital is the only Hospital of Heytown and is a 5-star facility. It is actively maintained and fully staffed. Please see the wiki page for the Hospital for more information.
