Adam Plaza

Description

Adam Plaza is a large square in Grigg Heights, covered in asphalt and on the crossroads of Pople Street and Abney Boulevard.

History

Adam Plaza housed several generations of cartographers in the 17th and 18th century when a building was located here that served as housing for Cartographers' Guild members. The building burned down in 1845 and remained a wastelands for nearly 40 years. The plaza was finally constructed in 1880, after a local committee had petitioned the city council.

It was paved for the opening of the bordering Linnett Museum and used to be quite well maintained, but after the outbreak, it decayed along with the rest of the city.
