Description

Sorry for the inconvenience during station renovation. - MTA sign

History

Alington Street was home to a subway stop on the Green Line of the now defunct Malton Transportation Authority (MTA). Because of the proximity to three hospitals (St. Mark's Hospital, Martha General Hospital, and Ephrem General Hospital) there was hardly a moment when there were not medical professionals in the station.

In desperate need of repair it was closed for maintenance a week before the outbreak, and dozens of construction workers created a safe haven for themselves by barricading all street entrances. Unknown to the men a zombie infested subway car was inching its way down a slope in the tracks and when it came to the platform, the undead commuters slaughtered most of the survivors inside.
