Barricade drone

A barricade drone is a survivor account that exists as a secondary account to one used by an active player. Its main purpose is solely to reinforce the barricades of buildings that are under attack by means of the Construction skill, thus preventing zombies from entering the building and attacking survivors.

If the drone and the primary account work too close together, it is considered zerging, which is cheating.

The use of barricade drones rose to prominence during the First Siege of Caiger Mall where a not inconsiderable number of them were being used, with the users rotating them out of the corner that was under assault by the zombies at the time. They have since been used in a number of other large conflicts throughout the game's history.

It should be noted that the majority of players, human and zombie alike, do not support the use of such drones, and their use is by a small portion of the population who are more intent on winning at all costs than they are with having a good time. Indeed, they are universally loathed by zombie players, who have for a very long time believed they are getting a raw deal with barricades in the first place.

Most, though not all, barricade drones are a type of Bot.
