The Borrows bank was originally named as "Stanley Savings and Loans" but after three years of service to the public, the IRS discovered that the owner had been cooking the books and that the money in the vault was nearly gone, after a change of management, the only way to stay running was to take out loans from other banks through out the city. Once this got out the bank was given the nickname Borrows Bank and soon the owners changed the name to Borrows Bank to hope people would forget about the incident that happened beforehand.
