[edit] The Three Doctrines
The Three Doctrines of the CCCP define us as an organization.
[edit] Independence
True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right.
- Brigham Young
Our doctrine holds that an individual, independent in his actions, holds the greatest chance of survival in the infested city. A member adhering to this doctrine has the right to make whatever choices he deems appropriate, and accepts responisibility for his actions. Moreover, all members of the CCCP are expected to be capable of defending themselves and other survivors against the threat posed by the zombies.
[edit] Communication
In night-fighting, then, make much use of signal-fires and drums, and in fighting by day, of flags and banners, as a means of influencing the ears and eyes of your army.
- Sun Tzu The Art of War
A well-established network of communication is essential, as independence without communication is anarchy. Thus, our second doctrine is that of communication. Our members pass messages, maintain spray tags and stay alert for dangers.
[edit] Mobility
Weapons are an important factor in war, but not the decisive one; it is man and not materials that counts.
- Mao Tse-Tung
The third docrine, mobility, emphasizes the last value of our organization. Our fluid nature allows us to move around and away from threats, and respond appropriately to them. We will not throw lives away on fruitless seiges. Rather, we will disperse, rely on our independance and communication to hold us through until the time has come to strike again.
[edit] Castes
Upon joining the CCCP, each member should volunteer to become a part of one of the four castes of the order. Although each member is expected to be able to independantly fight the zombie threat, the castes provide additional focus to our organization and insure that the security of the area will be maintained.
[edit] Builders
Builders typically come from a civilian background. As suggested by their name, most often, they possess the Construction skill. The Builder Caste has two imperatives:
- Maintain Barricades - Barricades give us the best chance to protect our people from zombie attackers. Construction and appropriate maintenence of those barricades is essential to the protection of us all.
- Maintain Generators - Generators provide much needed power for any building, most importantly, hospitals and Cell Towers. The Builders are responsible for checking and refueling generators where they are needed.
[edit] Scouts
Scouts are responsible for finding threats, eliminating them if possible, and if unable, relaying information to those who are able. Thus, their imperatives are as follows:
- Relay information - as a scout, your most critical mission is to observe dangerous conditions and relay that information to those who can deal with it.
- Engage and Destroy Zombies - all members are expected to be competant at engaging the zombie menace, scouts are expected to excel at it. Remember, sometimes the right person to relay information about a zombie threat to is yourself.
[edit] Speakers
Speakers are responsible for ensuring that lines of communication remain open. Their two imperatives are:
- Maintain Tagging - spray tagging is one of the most efficiant means of communicating with large numbers of people, especially potential recruits. Speakers maintain our sprays, and add sprays that could be useful to others.
- Relay information - like Scouts, Speakers must be ready to relay information to other members of the order. Typically, a Speaker's role will be to pass on information to a large number of people at once, alerting the group to a threat.
[edit] Medics
Medics have a critical role in any military endeavor, and in a city besieged by zombies, their role is especially critical. The imperatives of the Medic are:
- Heal the wounded - medics search for the tools of healing, and use them to heal the wounded.
- Revive zombies - revivification of the fallen is the only true way to end the zombie threat to our city.
[edit] Policies
The only policy currently in effect is the spray code
- spray code
- all sprays made by group members should show their group affiliation, CCCP
[edit] Current Goals
- The current goal of the order is recruitment. Tell your friends!
Alexi Nash 00:10, 6 Jan 2006 (GMT)
I am speaking on behalf of most of the inhabitants of challeneger crescent police station when i say that the creation of this group was unnesecary and has already become more a hindrence than a help. Alexi nash was not asked to create a group in the largely peacefull suburb of east boundwood and he did not consult us before doing so. And my personal opinion is that he should be killed and thrown out onto the streets along with his few followers if they make themselves known if he does not end this abomination before it starts.
Tonberryspoon, field surgon in the east boundwood area
The residents of East Boundwood strongly question the authority of an embarrasingly low level 2 civilian creating their own group within a safehouse occupied long before he ever showed up. The loose coalition of East Boundwood has operated harmoniously for a long period of time, and the last thing we need is some no-name showing up and laying down arbitrary rules.
Snake[CDN], Zombie Hunter/Medic/Doc in the (formerly peaceful)East Boundwood Area
At the present, the 'loose coalition' of East Boundwood consists of a bunch of survivors, huddling in a safehouse, with no plans beyond their present survival! Why can't you see that we could be doing much better! As far as the incorporation of 'arbitrary' rules, I'd suggest you re-read them. They are hardly arbitrary - in fact, they aren't even rules! Our group has proposed a few suggestions which I feel make a great deal of sense, and I (personally) was blasted for it by the 'elites' of East Boundwood. A few people have even gone so far as to suggest that I am responsible for the few Zombie attacks in recent days. I contend that it is far more likely that we are facing the leftovers of the recent attack on Yagoton. I hope that the residents of East Boundwood are independent-minded enough to decide on their own who to listen to. In the meantime, our group will continue operations of protection and healing in the area. I can only hope that we will not be PKed for our benevolence, as it now appears that the 'elites' are seriously considering that action.
Alexi Nash, Speaker, CCCP
On 1-11-06, Speaker Alexi Nash, fearing attacks from East Boundwood elites, fled to a safehouse. His bullet-riddled body was discovered there 3 days later.
Smellkid has claimed responsibility for the attack on Nash but Tonberryspoon and others who may wish to remain anon were also directly involved in his death . I dont think for a moment he will be missed and if he returns he might expect a similar response again unless he can change the inhabitants minds....
I think this group may have been a good idea but was implemented badly i cannot say i am sory but if Nash would contact me i would consider helping him build a decent group elsewhere. Tonberryspoon, field surgeon and necrotech employee
I think I speak for everyone when I say, "roflmao". -Snake[CDN]
