The President of the Communist Party of Malton is the head of government of the Communist Party of Malton. The President is at the head of the executive branch of the CPM government, whose role is to enforce law as given in the Constitution and written by Assembly. The President is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces and enumerates powers specifically granted to the President, including the power to sign into law but they must be passed by the Assembly. Most of the President's powers derive from his or her position as the head of the Cabinet. The decisions of the Cabinet will always require the support of the President.
The first current and only President of the Communist Party of Malton so far is Maxim Gorky, He was sworn in on the 5 May 2008.
