[edit] Field Operations

The Dunell Hills Police Department currently operates five squads: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Dixie and Indigo. Large squads can break into fire teams to operate independently at the squad leaders discretion. The squads have traditional roles which will be outlined below. Additionally, some squads have unique missions. The squads are the mobile arm of the DHPD and will sometimes travel outside of the DMZ to perform missions. Squads may secure resource buildings or clear revive points to support survivors as needed. They may also respond to break-ins and back-up precincts in times of heavy activity.

Joining a squad is a high level commitment. Squads are very active in-game and on the forum. Ideally candidates should (under normal circumstances):

• Be able to login to the game five or more days a week.
• Check the DHPD Forum five or more days a week.
• Have a paid character to avoid the IP hit limit.

These are not absolute requirements, but best serve the needs of the department and provide for the maximum enjoyment of these positions. If one wishes to join a squad, please contact the Squad Leader or the DFO-C.

Specialty: Advance Scouting/Mobile Assault.

Description: A heavy strike team that specializes in the occupation of suburbs, and the liberation of survivors from the local zed infestation. We secure and hold key resource buildings, and from time to time, wipe out groups of zeds if need be. When we're not on our own missions, we act as support to the other squads. Members from all walks of life are welcome to join, as we have roles designed to meet your specifics. Complimentary donuts upon joining.

Description: A big attraction, and the largest squad, it handles most of the large attacks. Responsible for the creation of Point Havoc in West Becktown and beginning relief missions in Peddlesden Village. Looking for a few good men.

Description: For those interested in being a medic or reviver more than killing those dastardly zombies! If we had helicopters, this would be our para-rescue squad. These valiant men and women run into combat under fire to heal, barricade, and revive, then jump right into the fray. Always on the look out for hard-charging zombie killers and survivor defenders.

They are always on the ready to receive a new trooper who is willing to go through anything.
