Dakerstown, AKA "Suburb One," is a suburb of Malton, located at the northwest corner of the city.

Dakerstown was the site of some of the first zombie-human interaction, as both zombies and humans initially gravitated towards the corners of the city. Some of this action (on the part of the zombies) was coordinated via the mailing list, and was thus an early example of metagaming.

Dakerstown is also notable as it was the last suburb to discover the location of its mobile phone mast and was the first to be given the classification of Ghost Town.

Dakerstown is a suburb that has seen a lot of action. It is currently a battleground between local survivor groups the Urban Guerillas and FUACK on the side of communism, and on the zombie side Extinction.

All Parties are reminded that entries for the suburb pages are to be maintained in an NPOV-encyclopedic format.

The defiant stand of FUACK, as well as a handful of unaligned survivors, has once more resulted in nothing but dead survivors (just like all such other stands for close to one year). Zombies have completed removal of the last barricades and all locations are once more in ruins or (in the case of junkyards) lacking barricades. With Pask NT in zombie hands for a long time, and the NT's in neighboring areas also overrun, even the hardiest of dead brains have given up waiting for revives and have left the area, heading to greener areas to the East and South. --Wke235 12:28, 19 June 2008 (BST)

Despite the aforementioned slaughter, very few if any of the dead bodies belong to FUACK members - Extinction not yet having mastered the art of FUACK hunting.--La revolucion 23:50, 20 June 2008 (BST)

Despite the dangerous climate in the suburb FUACK, as well as a handful of unaligned survivors, stand defiant in the face of Extinction.--La revolucion 03:25, 16 June 2008 (BST)

The whole suburb is in shambles, The only thing left to do for dakerstown is to evacuate immediatly It is the only option left. Please any survivors that are reading this page and are in the suburb please evacuate and pull back the zeds of Extinction run this suburb now it is totally and utterly in dissaray it only has a few buildings that are not open and cleaned of survivors but in a matter of days I believe they will own the whole suburb it is a complete mess down there I took out a couple zeds but only to get into a safehouse and have it overrun by 35 zeds they drug me out on the street and killed the 10 survivors that were left inside with me. SO please get out now if you still can it is dead down there but we might have dakerstown back one day...The dakerstown militia will do all it can but i fear that will not be enough since our numbers are very dwindled. --Barney Hellfax 12:43, 13 June 2008 (BST)

Dakerstown remains a battlefield with Extinction troops holding the Pask NT and ruining the free runs through much of the town. FUACK has retreated to safehouses around Ansgars Hospital in the north east of town but remains defiant in the face of the growing coordinated zombie threat. --Zeug 10:27, 31 May 2008 (BST)

[edit] May 21st

Many ruined buildings along the southern half of Dakerstown including the suburbs only NT. Resource buildings are being stuck out one by one & your chances of waking up zombified have definently increased.--Brainz 15:06, 21 May 2008 (BST)

Chances of waking up zombified do indeed increase when they're 0 to start. Members of extinction are still active in the suburb. Some of them have become humans and are trying to PK members of FUACK. The Pask building has been going back and forth, and there isn't that much of a que for revives. --Blackemperor 17:51, 21 May 2008 (BST)

[edit] May 18th

A majority of buildings are being caded to EHB and fueled. A group of zeds, Extinction, is arriving with small groups. Watch out survivors. --User:Eviroboy

[edit] May 17th

Very few ruined buildings and one pinata on the far east side. Most resource buildings are powered with many non resource buildings as well. Scattering of survivors throughout, but by no means a dead suburb. --FrozenFlame 04:07, 18 May 2008 (BST)

External Military report: "... leaving Dakerstown, counted thirty or so outside ... mostly just small groups ... can't see any signs of life ... the whole suburb's wrecked ... the Pask Building is out of action ..." --WanYao 00:57, 9 May 2008 (BST)
