As of latest scouting, the vital southeast corner appears strong, there are few zombies in the area, the necrotech buildings are under human control again, there are an abundance of radio transmitters, and Dartside's 'green' rating is well earned. The siutation seems somewhat deteriorated near the southeast, where there is a bit more zombie activity, mostly in the neighboring suburb. Note that this is only an account from one scout. --Fenian 04:31, 26 August 2008 (BST)

Overcading still on many buildings in the area, several survivors stuck out on the street, zombie presense minimal. Not safe if you get stuck outside the free running network but otherwise a haven. -- The Rooster 12:23, 27 May 2008 (BST)

There are a few survivors. A lot of buildings are well barricaded, but most of them are overbarricaded, so some survivors can't go in. I've seen few zombies the last days, just a pair or three, so I think the zone is safer now. --Sanglas 14:45, 22 May 2008 (BST)

Brailside Plaza PD is ruined. Many buildings supposed to be kept at VSB++ are in fact caded far heavier. Be sure you know where you're going to reenter before venturing out.
[edit] April 21st
Zombies have broken down the barricades at St. Ferreols after approximately a day of attacks. Refugees have fled North-east to Schlalch Hotel, and are requesting either a rally point for this suburb, or are declaring the Schlalch one. Current plans call for a wait and see approach, however if events continue to deteriorate an evacuation to Williamsville is planned for Thursday. Also, recommend changing Dartside to RED, most survivor zones are either being overrun or in the warpath.
True there is hardly any building still standing here, and if there was they wont last long with that number of zombies running about, this is a zone that must be avoided as much as possible.
And now you've let any zombie that reads the Dartside page know where a group of survivors is staying... I don't get why you people post that kind of information. And have you actually walked around the whole city?? Your last statement is rather incorrect. --Elliottmess 17:52, 21 April 2008 (BST)
Many buildings standing, lit, and filled with survivors who are fighting not running. Many zeds on the east side of the suburb having a merry time fighting with survivors. The first poster needs to get out more before making wild declarations and giving away survivor plans, not that it really matters. --Squirmydad 21 April 2008

Confirming prescence of survivors in Dartside. Would still reccomend a downgrade to Orange (Dangerous) for Dartside ATM --lonewolf 10:30 20, April 2008 (PST)
- - More and more of the suburb's resource buildings are falling to the horde. Don't know if it's half of the local tactical resource points yet, but it's getting there. The southeast corner is still holding. I'll second the change to Dangerous levels. --The Masked Lurker 09:11, 21 April 2008 (BST)

Zombies all over the place. Character was at St. Matthews, was completely overrun. Didn't have enough AP to look around, but would venture to guess Dartside is completely infested with Zeds moving south from Blytheville and Greentown. Looks like were running out of places to hide...--lonewolf 20:00 19, April 2008 (PST)

Dartside is starting to recover, but there is still much work to be done. Barricade strafers have reclaimed most buildings in the eastern half. Most buildings are VS+2 and enterable, but unoccupied. Revive queues are slowly being cleared. - Uncle Elbert 16:38, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 11th
In gruesome overnight attacks, the zombies from the Militant Order of Barhah took St Patrick's Hospital - eliminating 20 survivors there, while feeding feral zombies that were present. The MOB also finished off what remained of the resistance at Brailsford Plaza Police Department - survivors there numbering almost a dozen. Curiously, the PD was found wide open, with the spraypainted note on the wall outside declaring "many survivors hiding inside". Rumors of an internal job are flying. Both of these structures are now ruined. There is little left to destroy in Dartside. --FLZombie 05:24, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- Eyewitnesses report seeing scores of zeds exiting the eastern part of the map of Dartside. It may be an opportunity to retake, repair, and rebuild all of the structures previously occupied by the MOB.--FLZombie 22:03, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] March 10th
Shapr Boulevard Police Department is in the process of falling. There are 4 survivors and 47 (!) zombies inside. --Kingofallpie 20:03, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
St. Jeremy's Hospital was taken by a group of zombies from the MOB. A grotesque buffet of almost a dozen dragged survivors was left for feral zeds at the front doorstep. One active survivor apparently managed to escape the attack. Later on, a second attack occurred at another hospital, Tikhon General Hospital in eastern Dartside, where dozens of survivors were discovered by zombies. Feeding groans were audible earlier today.
Dartside may be unfortunately also in the path of The Dead on their way through to Buckley Mall in neighboring Buttonville. Survivors are urged to barricade themselves in, and take shifts to defend their positions against what could prove to be more frequent zombie attacks.--FLZombie 05:05, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Things have taken a turn for the worse at Tikhon General Hospital. Currently zombie numbers far outstrip the number of survivors. If you are a survivor this is NOT the place to be. Tikhon is unlikely to survive to noon today.--Chubby_Topz 09:00, 10 March 2008 (GMT)
- My squad was stationed at Tikhon hospital, it's true that the building is in immediate danger. Unfortunately, before my squad was wiped out, there is less than 30 people left in Tikhon. Surviors in surrounding buildings have done little or nothing in assisting us.--Sergeant Hastings 10:38, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Remarkably, the brave defenders have not fled the carnage. Tikhon Hospital now has 30+ zombies within its midst and roughly 12 survivors. Somebody or some group DID assist the survivors with heals, as many of those who were infected have been healed. This, however has not deterred the zombie horde. Many people have been dragged into the street as survivor numbers continue to dwindle. Survivors in neighbouring buildings have zombie problems of their own to contend with. This may account for the perceived lack of support reported earlier..--Chubby_Topz 14:29, 10 March 2008 (GMT)
- Tikhon Medical offers a cheesy poof to each of the corpses of the stalwart defenders, and a raunchy mooning to all our zombie guests. Tikhon would also like to remind survivors there are 4 NecroTech Buildings, 9 hospitals and 3 police departments within about a 6 move radius from Tikhon. Given the sheer mass of rotting flesh moving through Dartside (The Dead, RRF, Militant Order of Barhah and Undeadites, a standing fight is suicide. Scatter and rotate safehouses - or simply flee. - Uncle Elbert 17:11, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

The only resistance left in this suburb is in the eastern areas. The rest of the suburb has fallen. --Kingofallpie 22:37, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
The Highton Building has fallen, and most of that area has been ruined. It's completely empty of survivors. In the areas around the Vivian building, there are multiple 10+ mobs. Updated to Dangerous with this report and other reports of 50+ mobs. --Kingofallpie 00:25, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
The Militant Order of Barhah has taken both St Ferreol's Hospital and The Rudd Building. They have apparently had a recent influx of newer zombies that have risen from prior attacks, and these are "being fed" by the horde. Feral zombies continue to also reap the benefits of their attacks, since the MOB also drags many of their victims into the streets. Dartside is rapidly succumbing to the same fate that befell Greentown. Survivors are cautioned to stay indoors at all times and make haste with preparations for repelling large hordes of zombies, should it become necessary. Those that do not wish to fall prey to the MOB should head south.--FLZombie 20:47, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

The Bagnall Building defenders, after a long struggle to keep their NT building clear, succumbed to the zombie hordes last night. Their wounded bodies were unceremoniously dragged out to feed hungry ferals. This is the second NT building assaulted in less than 24 hours. Some zombies had DNA samples extracted this time to track their whereabouts in the near future. All NT activities are being diverted at this time to the four nearby facilities in Kinch Heights and Lockettside.--FLZombie 03:50, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Dinner is served. All you can eat brain-buffet at St. Faustina's Hospital and Hook avenue. There are at least seven level 1 survivors standing outside in the area. Sadly, some are about to pass their expiration date so any hungry zombies had better hurry! Honestly, whose dumb enough to sleep outside for four days in a row? Well that didn't last very long. Status report from Tikhon Medical Scout. The area has been turned into a large smocking pile of rubble it seems...
- Tikhon East: 17 zeds outside, 9 zeds inside, Ruined.
- Blakesley PD: 6 zeds outside, 69 zeds inside, Ruined (probably most recent hit).
- Shapr PD: 16 zeds outside, 9 zeds inside, Ruined
- Warehouse: 4 zeds outside, Ruined
- Factory: 7 zeds outside, Lights on
- St. Jeremy's: 6 zeds outside, ? inside, Ruined
- St. Faustina's: 3 zeds outside, ? inside, Ruined
- St. Patrick's: 11 zeds outside, not ruined, status unknown
- Brailsford: 1 zed outside, Lights on.
- Chaplen Building: 0 zeds outside, ? inside, Ruined
- Harrold Hotel: 0 zeds outside or inside, Ruined
That is the current status of the area as of the time of this post. I was in Blakesley PD trying to restock on ammo when it got hit, which happend about 13 hours ago from the time of this post which puts it at about 1:00 AM GMT. Only lasted a few hours and that's due to sheer number of survivors that were in the building at the time. That and some of the zeds it seems used up their AP and had to wait a while before carrying on with their attack. That's the end of my report, Over and Out. --Matt 14:50, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] October 24th
From what I know (and thats not alot in this case) on the Big Bash is that it is a few organized zombie groups taking a trip round malton. Not realy corridinating more then saying which suburb/area or direction to attack and a general idea of what they intend to do, which is cause mayhame and destruction on a large scale. This of course has attracted a large number of Ferals who decided to follow the Big Bash and join in, causing even more mayham and general chaos where ever the Big Bash goes. This means that it's not entirely organized but it's shear size is the problem. Even without an organized attack time on buidings the large number of zombies randomly attacking means that, unless a place has a 24 hour guard and a larger number of survivors inside then zombies outside, it's going to get the occasional random break in. Which if it turns bad alot of other zombies notice and all rush in to kill & destroy as much as they can before they get evicted or they ruin the place. If your lucky only a couple manage to get in before someone rebarricades the place and people start evicting the zombies that got in before they cause too much damage. That's all I have figured out from what little I know. So this is Tikhon Medical Scout signing off. --Matt 15:28, 24 October 2007 (BST)
- Just for everyone's FYI the last time the Big Bash came through Dartside they rampaged through the town and turned it red over night....no building was left occupied by the living. It would be wise for any healer/ reviver to get their supplies and move. Come back after the horde leaves and revive and re-cade. --Evl kitty 17:00, 27 October 2007 (BST)
[edit] October 23rd
The Big Bash also often takes out buildings of strategic value to survivors in neighboring, but not targeted, suburbs -- whether by design, or through a "feral spillover" effect is hardly relevant. In this manner, St-Matthew's Hospital has been ruined and the Highton NT is breached and under attack. With this and the many ferals moving through the general area, the suburb may no longer qualify for "safe" status. --WanYao 15:18, 23 October 2007 (BST)
- The Big Bash decimates suburbs. You are not facing an organized horde, rather ferals brought to Dartside via feeding Groans.--KamdenM|W|T|H 16:04, 23 October 2007 (BST)
- That may or may not be entirely accurate, Kamden. But I'll leave others to decide for themselves, based on their own information and intel. --WanYao 16:35, 23 October 2007 (BST)

- Crackling* This is Tikhon Medical Scout reporting. With both suburbs to our north & north-east now at red danger rating, our own green status is under threat . Hopefuly we won't need to change it to red. This is to inform everyone to be on the alert as it is believed that the Big Bash are heading in this direction. It would be wise to stock up on needed supplies and check the status of all Resource Buildings and learn where your entry points are. If you intend to flee, please inform your friends at least so they know that you are leaving and not gotten killed. Saves them AP looking for you or asking where you are in a wasted attempt to revive you. And please don't panic. *hollering and screaming can be heard from the other end of the radio* I said DON'T panic, not panic. *sighs* why don't some people listen. Also be advised as the Big Bash is not a Mall Tour they will most likely be attacking all Resource Buildings and not just the Malls, so make sure you have a safe house that is not an Resource Building as a fall back point. That is all, over and out. *Crackle* --Matt 13:47, 21 October 2007 (BST)
- Pal, The Bash not only attacks Malls and resource buildings, but actually all buildings in a targeted suburb. Just so that it does not come as a surprise for you. "Hopefuly", they will not go in your direction, but it is still wise to move to some place else for the time being. -- John RubinT! ZG

The PKer Hirvitys is still striking at both members of the Regulators Alliance and random survivors. He is being revived by Herra Tohtori, normally at the Coreless Way revive point. - Congratulations. Tikhon appears to be taken, 16 zeds inside last I checked. Most buildings are lit though and the zombies are having trouble holding more than 2 buildings. Revives are quicker than a zombie can click "stand up" after taking a headshot. Only took roughly 20 minutes for me to be up and running. -- AHLGTH 18:23, 14 August 2007 (BST)

I suggest that all pro-survivor groups in this area assemble as many death squads as you can and move them all out throughout the suburb strategically. Do not let this suburb fall like the others did, because if it does fall at this point in time, consequences may prove severe. Decipher that anyway you would like. Over and out. --"Mr. X"
- Thanks for the information "Mr X" or should I say Athiyk. We shall keep an eye out for those that seek to disturb the peace of this suburb. --Turner Calton 21:03, 12 August 2007 (BST) - I'd appreciate it if you didn't edit my posts Mr Athiyk, I've reverted your edit --Turner Calton 21:57, 13 August 2007 (BST)

Major zombie activity in the Southeast, as usual, with breakins around Shapr Grove. I suppose asking for reinforcements would be redundant. All the reinforcements go to the Southeast. --Fenian 21:33, 10 August 2007 (BST)
[edit] August 9th
Blakesley Grove PD is at Quite Strong, but has several zombies inside. Shapr and Tikhon Medical are in survivor hands, both at HB or above. --Fenian 19:52, 9 August 2007 (BST)
- Jo, Fenian - I must question the wisdom of providing such information in such a public space. As well as advertising the successes of the survivors of Dartside, it also highlights targets for the Wakers that roam the streets. May I suggest that you provide information on Waker concentrations, and the areas that need help? --Turner Calton 22:55, 9 August 2007 (BST)
- The implied message is to send aid to Blakelsey, and that you can rest in Tikhon or Shapr --Fenian 21:33, 10 August 2007 (BST)
- Um that's the point Fenian. Just leave word where the zombie are attacking and not safe buildings. When you do that the zombies know exactly where to attack next and they don't need help in that area. --Evl kitty 17:04, 12 August 2007 (BST)

PDs back in human hands. mobs of six (Shapr) and seven (Blakesley) now pounding on doors. Odd numbers of ferals now stalk the street.--Jo Harper 22:37, 8 August 2007 (BST)
[edit] August 7th
I don't know if it's the MOB, but both Blakesley and Shapr PDs are under sustained attack tonight, with zeds inside both buildings. Situation at the moment is Shapr is overrun, while survivors cling on in Blakesley, where the 'cades have recently been repaired. A sustained push by survivors should regain both. --Jo Harper 21:56, 7 August 2007 (BST)
[edit] August 4th
The MoB invasion was over pretty quickly for most of the suburb, the main pockets of them having lingered in the southeast. At present, much of Dartside is basically secure. Primary threats continue to be the usual ferals in the southeast and the UndeadFER having moved to the north and northwest for the moment. --Queen Mum 20:44, 4 August 2007 (BST)
- Well, maybe not all that secure yet. The Police Departmants and Hospitals are all under siege, with Brailsford and St. Patricks having been smashed and suvivors killed. This is more than the usual ferals in the SE. - (Unsigned by Wke235)
- That happens frequently and has for months. For some reason almost all of the resource buildings in Dartside are clustered in the SE, hence it's reputation as a permanent trouble spot.--Queen Mum 21:09, 6 August 2007 (BST)
- UndeadFER have promoted to northern border. It is now attacked the Highton Building (30, 81). We try to protect it, but zombies continue coming. Already is killed. - Paul Robinson, 7 august 2007

Resistance continues in several areas, with survivors throwing up cades and counterattacking. But communications appear to have broken down; nobody seems to have any clue as to the status of anywhere else. -- Arthur Patstone
- The Militant Order of Barhah has reduced Dartside to shredded boards and clumps of mortar. This 'burb is offically a tomb. Thanks for all the meals, our baby zombies grew fat and deadly while smashing the futile attempts to restore order. The only hope left is to join our rank ranks and embrace the Way of Barhah. Why "survive" when you can "THRIVE" under the gentle and guiding claw of the one true Prophet? --Drag'n'Feast 23:51, 27 July 2007 (BST)
- There is still life in Dartside, zombie, and it's not joining you. In the end, we'll see who's the stronger. --Fenian 00:08, 28 July 2007 (BST)
- Who was stronger is quite obvious. There may be life, but not enough to feed even a mildly hungry baby zambah. We'll move on and let you try to rebuild your RED suburb so we can come back someday and feast again. Grogh 04:52, 29 July 2007 (BST)
- Funny, I don't actually remember this happening, and I've been in and around Dartside for, oh, nearly two years now. --Turner Calton 14:01, 4 August 2007 (BST)
[edit] July 20th
Survivors have regained a definite foothold in the suburb, and fighting to retake the suburb from the zombie forces continues. Shapr Boulevard PD is down, with zombies both inside and out. Tikhon Medical and Blakesley Grove PD are in survivor hands. --Fenian 04:28, 21 July 2007 (BST)
- No, they're not. It'll take more than what you've done to keep us away. --Morrrrth 03:09, 22 July 2007 (BST)
- Damn. --Fenian 02:40, 24 July 2007 (BST)
- Ok, do you really think it's a good idea to advertise these buildings? "We've retaken these buildings, come and get us!" I would advise that you please keep tactical information regarding the security of fellow survivors away from public access. --Turner Calton 14:01, 4 August 2007 (BST)

After a brief struggle all undead squatters have been tossed out of Tikhon and the building reoccupied by survivors. Cades at EHB, generator fully powered. Everybody come help hold the damn thing this time! -- Arthur Patstone

The Militant Order of Barhah has been performing rapid-fire barhaptisms throughout the suburb. Most buildings ransacked; the dead collect at the revive queues. Don't bother coming home; we already ate your dog.--Jorm 16:36, 9 July 2007 (BST)

Ransacked buildings in area include Dunford Lane Fire Station (35,84) with three zombies inside; and a factory (35,85) with two zombies inside. No live survivors sleeping in either (well, not anymore, anyway). Might be more ransackings further to the north-west: it was a short patrol. (By the way, is it OK to post this sort of tactical stuff here?) --Dan Everyman 09:46, 26 June 2007 (BST)

Yeah, now I have no personal problems with Irish Republican Army, but I would like to ask you guys to knock it off with the Brit bashing tags around Dartside. Mine and a few other groups have been in Dartside for over a year and a couple of those groups are "Brits". Thanks in advance --Evl kitty 17:07, 19 June 2007 (BST)
- We'll try to be more specific as to which citizens of the UK we find morally reprehensible. We actually like most of them. We'll change it to Imperialists, I think. That way it won't target the British in particular, and will still get the message across that we don't like imperial types. We'll be doing that next time we have a tagging run.
Edit: Having discussed with various members of the Dartside community, we have severely reprimanded the member who posted the offensive tag. The view that he expressed therein does not represent the views of our group. We would like to apologize on his behalf on behalf of our group for the offensive tag. It will be replaced with a more apropraite tag within the next several days. For a full discussion on this issue, see our group page discussion section. --Fenian 02:31, 20 June 2007 (BST)

Survivor reinforcements are requested at Tikhon General Hospital, and at Blakesley Grove and Shapr Boulevard police stations. Tikhon and Shapr are both at VSB, but Blakesley is ransacked with zombies inside. Zombies outside the buldings continue to attack the buildings, and additional survivors are needed to defend them. --Fenian 15:40, 16 June 2007 (BST)

Many ransacked buildings, including St Jeremy's (36,87) & St Faustina's (36,88) hospitals. Survivors in the area would appreciate help raising barricades and bandaging zombie bitemarks. --Dan Everyman 06:56, 15 June 2007 (BST)
- St. Jeremy's and St.Faustina's are both at VSB now, but are still under attack. St.Patrick's is also under attack. Last I checked, there were two zombies inside of it and a few outside, but the barricades are holding.- Fenian, 11:22 Friday June 15th, 2007

Oswald General Hospital is quiet, but unbarricaded. In it with me is just one really high-level Regulator. There's already a generator-- electricity and cades would be nice. There were a lot of zeds here before, but they're gone now Thysa 18:41, 14 June 2007 (BST)
- I'm sure your roommate will appreciate you calling out your location and lack of barricades. Surely the zombies will refuse a free meal. - elbert gray 19:57, 14 June 2007 (BST)
Since the Russian zombies don't read this, I can tell you that the high-level Regulators have mostly fled to Vinetown (Club Threadgould)... Shhh! Don't anybody tell them! Local area revivers and hunters:
Please be aware that hirvitys is a known PKer/Griefer working in and around this area of Malton. (His record is actually much lengthier than the official Rogue's Gallery counting, as there are at least six murders wherein no evidence was made available.)

The Irish Republican Army has moved members into the Dartside area and are working to combat the zombies and help to secure the suburb. They have also declared that they shall work to make the suburb a stronghold for free survivors and a bastion for safety in the city. They are recruiting volunteers to the cause. -Fenian, 10:49 Central 23rd May, 2007
- Somehow, I question your motives and sincerity. I sure as heck question your allegiances. This should prove interesting. By all means, help secure an already secure suburb. - Elbert Gray 18:21, 24 May 2007 (BST)
- I assure you, Elbert, our intentions are pure. We need a stronghold, the Dartside-Greentown area has a history of Irish influence (the Emerald Guard, Saint Patrick's Hospital, etc.), and our goal is to keep the suburb secure, and to stamp out all hostile zed activity. Put it at green and keep it that way.- Fenian, 11:00, 27th May, 2007
- I'm a believer that actions speak louder than words, and my experience with the IRA so far is only words. The words make me uneasy and cautious, but I'll hold any final opinions until I see what you guys are really all about. Elbert Gray 16:53, 29 May 2007 (BST)
- On behalf of the RA we say hello. If you would like to help out with the few remaining z's in the area , then by all means. Please remind your members to scan first and do not revive the undeadfers. Thanks --Evl kitty 21:30, 24 May 2007 (BST)
- Welcome to Dartside, IRA, and greetings from Russia. We already have three active survivor groups: RA, Tikhoners and Octopopers, with dozens of soldiers hiding in the far corners from our (UndeadFER) not numerous members. It seems to me that we need two or three more rivals to start having real fun. --
