Darvall Heights is the twenty-third suburb of Malton, located in the northwest of the city. Darvall Heights is one of the most active suburbs, with several famous locations, large groups, and events of historical significance.

One of the best-known locations in Darvall Heights is Caiger Mall, the eastern half of which is in the suburb and the western half is in Chudleyton. Caiger Mall has historically had the highest survivor population of any building in Malton, owing to the fact that it has repulsed two large scale zombie attacks. For more information, see Siege of Caiger Mall. Caiger Mall was once seen as a symbol for survivors throughout Malton, but has lost much of its reputation since it fell to a massive zombie horde in the Third Siege of Caiger Mall.

The Herman Building is the only Necrotech in Malton that is home to a Mobile Phone Mast, as such its Generator serves more than one purpose.

[edit] June 9th

Darvall Heights is destroyed! Caiger Mall is under zombie control and the important NT’s The Herman Building and Latrobe Building are ruined. Only a few safe-houses can be found but it is dangerous to stay there. --Nuke the fridge 16:33, 9 June 2008 (BST)

Most buildings are barricaded, including both NTs. Caiger Mall is still fine. The only significant zombie activity seemed to be on the Eastonwood border; binoc scouting and NecroNet scans showed only a handful of of Zeds in the area. Danger level may be merely Moderate, but further independent investigation is needed. Unfortunetely, this reporter's photos got deleted due a freak EMP surge in a local electrical factory, you'll just have to trust me on this, or see for yourself. ;) --WanYao 03:18, 14 May 2008 (BST)

82nd Airborne has cleared ESB NT's and has retaken Caiger Mall, helping take into survivor hands. 82nd Platoon devised by Macman, was able to clear the mall with his platoon and secure the NT next to it. The operation was a success... --mac4life April 26 2008 5pm USC...

External Military Report: "... reporting from Darvall Heights, I've got about eighty active ... mostly just small groups ... no lights on down there ... it's a wasteland down there ... Caiger Mall has fallen ..." --Sicrowell 19:16, 17 April 2008 (BST)

[edit] April 10th

Latrobe was ruined yesterday with the SW entry to Caiger Mall following soon after. The ensuing bloodbath as The Dead, Extinction and mobs of ferals fell on the hapless defenders was quick and brutal as 250 fresh living brains were torn from their former owners broken skulls and devoured by the crazed zombies. While much of Darvall Heights is barricaded the ruination of its Mall and main NT usually spells disaster for those left behind. Any current residents are advised that the nearest safe harbour is south east in Ackland Mall, Havercroft. --Zeug 10:57, 10 April 2008 (BST)

[edit] April 6th

External Military report: "... reporting from Darvall Heights, I've got nearly two hundred active ... a horde of about eighty outside the Latrobe Building ... several buildings with power ... the whole suburb's wrecked ... lights are on in Caiger Mall ..." --WanYao 20:15, 6 April 2008 (BST)

[edit] April 5th

Zombies have breached VSB entry points to Caiger Mall, and have been sieging the SW corner of the mall itself. The Latrobe building is constantly being and broken into and then re-secured, while several attempts in recent days to recapture the nearby Swneeney Nt have all resulted in failure. --WanYao 19:17, 6 April 2008 (BST)

[edit] April 4th

Caiger Mall and Latrobe NT remain well barricaded and defended against a growing zombie presence attracted by the bright lights and sounds of drunken merry making as the survivors anxiously await the next big undead assault. The rest of the suburb remains in ruins as does much of NW Malton making Caiger Mall a beacon for the living and walking dead alike for many miles around.--Zeug 08:34, 4 April 2008 (BST)

Yeandill Towers 23, 28 has been removed as revive points for the sake of simplicity. Those in need of a revive are still encouraged to wait at the three current published ones.--Idril 17:42, 4 April 2008 (BST)

Manei Domini has captured the Latrobe Building. ROM Agents are also asked to follow Case White procedure within the 48 hours. This easy capture was due largely in part to the ineffective seige tactis of The Dead. Note that no ear is too far from the Masters Call, and no zombie is ever safe from the Manei Domini.--Rob Lefter 8:13, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for alerting us to our error, we have mediated the situation and negotiatied Latrobe's safe return to its true owners. We'd just like to give a shoutout to our fellows in The Dead, to Manei Domini, and to all the other survivors and zombies who made this possible. We never thought we'd be able to do it without you. --Zambargh the Ravener 04:25, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Yes, the one guy that was in there was doing a lovely job of retaking the NT. SEND MORE SCIENTISTS--DCC 04:28, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 23rd

Although lacking organization and leadership, the west coast branch of The Dead wiped out all pubbie resistance in Caiger Mall in a matter of minutes. -The Dead 18:50, 23 March 2008

[edit] March 22nd

Members from Team Zombie Hardcore and ROM have been pouring into Darvall Heights to reinforce Caiger Mall. ROM Agents should have operational AP within the next 24 hours. Zombie numbers seem to be sky high, although they lack organization and leadership.--Rob Lefter 2:27, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 19th

NecroWatch reported from the Latrobe Building revealing that there were 133 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of note, there were 32 zombies at the Salopia Row revive point, 27 more zombies at a cemetery revive point, 14 zombies at the southwest corner of Caiger Mall in Chudleyton, and 7 zombies at St. Isidore's Church. --Mobius 16:44, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 17th

The Caiger mall has been retaken by USAI. Both NTs are in humand hands, but are under attack by a small group of zombies. Changed suburb status to Dangerous, there are no big mobs and area is recovering Snakeingrass 16:16, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, I began my scout and on the first move I made I found a horde of 28 zombies outside a block. Danger level unchanged. The man 07:27, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 13th

I will be scouting this suburb. Caiger mall has only 5 zombies outside in the darvall heights corners of the mall so I'm pretty much expecting it to be a ghost town like its neigbour. The man 19:36, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
