Dike Avenue

Description

The crowd down Dike Avenue on the day of the Malton Girl on Girl Parade.

Dike Avenue, often referred to as Dyke Avenue, Lezbo Avenue, or even Female Homosexual Street, is the start location of the Malton Girl on Girl Parade which runs through the liberal northern suburbs, passing through Gay Avenue and ending in The Arkham Sisters. Famous residents of Dike Avenue include Portia de Rossi and one of the future wives of a prominent West Boundwood family.

History

Dike Avenue was named after Lord Dikeington, an 18th century Malton baron who ran drug syndicates out of Dike Avenue, then called Cocaine Lane. After becoming a run-down crime-infested enclave in the early 20th century it went through a revival, becoming a center for gay and lesbian commerce. The outbreak sent Dike Avenue into a spiraling decline and it is now often full of zeds making out - ironically unaware of their respective former genders.
