Downs Boulevard Fire Station is a fire station located in the suburb of Rolt Heights in the southwest corner. During the "Malton Incident" the fire station was abandoned and its doors sealed as part of the evacuation plan, but since that day there have been signs that perhaps members of the illustrious Malton Fire Department have returned to the station in hopes of managing more than just fires within the suburb. The fire station, the only one in the entire suburb, acts as the headquarters for the Malton Fire Department's North-East Division, 3^rd District. Any and all able-bodied firefighters are requested to report in to the re-established command as soon as possible.

[edit] Barricade Policy

This building should be Very Strongly (VS+2) barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the mutually supported Rolt Heights Barricade Plan set forth in agreement with local survivor groups. This building is meant to serve as a shelter for Malton's inexperienced survivors.

It should be noted that as no specific survivor group monitors nor maintains the barricades associated with this barricade plan, so therefore it is not considered to be enforced. As such, survivors should always expect to find the barricades set at varying levels depending on the survivors inside the building. For the most part though, survivors should always expect to find this building over-barricaded rather than under-barricaded simply due to survivor nature.

Newgrounds has indicated that they will monitor and possibly maintain the barricades for this location.

December 10th, 2007 - If anyone wants to try and help me get the southwest sort of under control I'm at Downs Boulevard Fire Station. There are many zombies surrounding the area and I am also in need of help. I managed to secure the doors but I can't cade because I have no tools and the interior is completely ruined. Please someone preferably a constructionist head down this way. Don't try the PD right next to the fire station because its surrounded by zombies and theres also some inside. I think this could be one of the first steps to getting this area under control, seeing as after we get this fire station under control it could be a temporary place for any passing survivors to stay until we get the PD next door under control. June 20-24th, 2006 - A massive amount of zombies have overrun Ayliffe Street PD and Downs Boulevard Fire Station. It is certain that this was the act of a zombie group and not ferals, but exactly which group was responsible was never verified. The Dead Animals were the major suspects.
