July 11th

A recent radio broadcast on 26.60MHz by an unknown individual encouraged survivors to converge on Dunell Hills on July 15th, 2018 to retake the suburb from The Dead. This broadcast, previously advertised on the same frequency as of high importance, was met with equal amounts of derisive commentary and wholehearted support. --ooɹd ǝʌɐɥ sʇɐoƃ sʍoʅʚ ǝɹɔuoɯ uǝɹɐʞWe're going to destroy everything, and you can't stop usYou rated this wiki '1'! Dunell Hills is firmly in the hands of The Dead after repelling a combined assault from the Dunell Hills Police Department, Knights Templar, and East Becktown Defenders. All resource buildings are ruined along with nearly the entire suburb. -JAZED (talk) 16:29, 25 June 2016 (UTC)

Dunell Hills declared a Ghost Town! - An eerie calm has come over the suburb of Dunell Hills. After long months of hard fighting, the streets are now nearly empty. A few survivors still cling to a handful of buildings in the north east parts of the suburb, and a couple feral zombies still wander about, but most streets and buildings are desolate and empty. Whether the fighters killed each other off, or moved on to other fronts is unknown, but the chill wind that blows through the empty streets and broken windows is the only sound to be heard throughout most of Dunell Hills. --Boneshred The Hungry 20:07, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

April

April 15th

There are a grand total of four buildings not currently empty and ruined. These do not include a single resource building, nor a single powered building, nor anything of any strategic value. Mobs of zombies are busy hammering down those barricades anyway. The free-running lanes into the suburb have been cut off, and the surrounding suburbs are equally devastated. There is no survivor presence within the suburb at all. If there has been an attempt to "reclaim" the suburb by a certain group who hasn't been able to do so for the past three years, then it has gone more or less unnoticed. --カシュー, ザ ゾンビ クィーン (ビープ ビープ) ;x You rated this wiki '1'! It is impossible to walk the streets of Dunell Hills. Dangerous does not begin to cover it. Zeds everywhere. Destruction everywhere. No resources. April 1st

Less than 72 hours later, Dunell Hills is once more a dead zone. Of the 56 buildings in the suburb, only 5 are intact as of this report, 2 of which are open and 1 only lightly barricaded. Groups of undead sighted from the street of up to a dozen, overall count outside was ~70 with more expected inside. Suburb is extremely dangerous. --User:Tempest56 15:19, 1 April 2011 (EST)

March

March 31st

Suburb was mostly in survivor hands as of yesterday. However, The Dead appear to have staged a major resurgence and the number of active undead in the Hills has doubled or more in the last 24 hours. Entire area around Dury has been demolished, with multiple break-ins across the area. NW quadrant is currently still safe, but the SE is almost totally destroyed and the SW is being hit hard. Situation is still developing. Neighboring suburbs are suggested to be on alert for spill-over. --User:Tempest56 10:20, 31 March 2011 (EST)

March 24th

The fighting in Dunell Hills seems to have stabilised to an impasse - the majority of buildings and resource points in the suburb are now barricaded and lit, although breakins continue to happen regularly all across the suburb. The central resource buildings remain in zombie hands for the majority of the time, although survivors frequently clear up to 18 zeds at a time to reclaim them before they're ruined again within hours. Hundreds of survivors continue to operate in the suburb, with revive queues dealt with in a timely manner. Ezekiel UK 23:08, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

March 17th

Intense fighting continues. At the moment most major resource buildings are ruined, but there's a constant stream of survivor incursions. The undead appear to have the current advantage thanks to holding Dury and the surrounding buildings with large numbers, but there are survivor footholds in other parts of the suburb. Fighting is likely to continue for some time. --User:Tempest56 01:33, 17 March 2011 (EST)

March 8th

The Hills have been turned into a war zone again. The DHPD appears to have rallied a large number of allies to their cause - The Fortress, Army Control Corps, Knights Templar and Soldiers of Crossman have all been spotted in the suburb during fighting in the last day or two. Multiple buildings are up and barricaded (sometimes even lit), but The Dead and assorted others are keeping a near-constant assault on resource buildings. It's unclear at this time which has the advantage, though the survivors seem to currently have a lead in numbers. --User:Tempest56 14:19, 8 March 2011 (EDT)

Routine pass through the suburb shows a minor survivor presence in the NW, centered around Catherine General. Barricade levels are low to non-existent, with only minimal survivor presence. The situation has finally stabilized - however, not in the favor of the living. After a month and a half of difficult fighting, all survivor presence has been pushed out of Dunell Hills. Today's tour showed no buildings left unruined and no signs of survivor presence. Counted more than 70 zombies on the streets in small groups. Survivors are advised to consider DH to be very dangerous. --Tempest56 08:53, 10 November 2010 (EST)

October

October 31st

Several tours across the area through the last month have revealed extremely heavy fighting. Several survivor groups have pushed into the area in force, and multiple buildings are rebuilt. However, zombie presence/organization has also significantly increased, and keeping buildings up and active is a challenge - particularly resource buildings. An accounting of what is and isn't currently up is unhelpful, as most locations that are rebuilt are reruined within 24 hours. Both sides are currently very active, and this suburb should be considered very dangerous. --Tempest56 01:55, 31 October 2010 (EDT)

October 4th

Signs of a major survivor incursion into the area along the east side of the suburb. Several buildings are rebuilt, rebarricaded and even lit! Dury is still down, but the historical Club Meade is up and running for the first time in what may be years. Barricade levels and the scope of rebuilding suggest the work of at least a dozen coordinated survivors, and several DHPD members were spotted in the area. However zombie presence is also on a sharp rise, with ~45 spotted from the street and they appear to be starting to cluster up into groups. Suburb appears to be going hot again. Will repatrol in a week to verify the situation. --Tempest56 09:24, 4 October 2010 (EDT)

September

September 23rd

Today's pass revealed signs of another push into the suburb. Several buildings in the NW have been rebuilt and rebarricaded, including Cotty PD, St. Luke's church, and both Stephen and Catherine hospitals. Barricading levels are moderate but survivable. Zombie presence on the street was ~30 in singles and pairs. Will repatrol in a few days to see if the new push holds. --Tempest56 10:10, 23 September 2010 (EDT)

September 1st

Another routine patrol. Much the same results. Only sign of survivor presence was the Pettman Museum, which was only loosely barricaded when I passed by. Counted ~40 zombies in singles or pairs that were visible from the street. Area definitely survivor-unfriendly. --Tempest56 22:22, 1 September 2010 (EDT)

August

August 25th

Routine patrol shows a dead suburb. Minor signs of survivor presence in the NW (Cotty PD, St. Justin's), though the barricade levels and lack of lights say it could be the work of as few as 2-3 survivors. Counted about 25 zombies in ones and twos visible from the street. With the DHPD's known long-term push to retake the suburb, the widespread ruin in spite of that suggests a larger number hiding within the buildings. May be a ghost town, may be very dangerous. Survivors entering the area are advised to take caution. --Tempest56 13:15, 25 August 2010 (EDT)

Today the zombies took a thrust towards the eastern part of town. Lucius General Hospital has been breached and survivors are dispersing. It seems more zombies have arrived from the surrounding suburbs, estimated around 40-45. Only a few safe havens remain in Dunell Hills right now, and even those are going to be assaulted soon. Bogdan Radu 08:26, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

January 13th

After a short scouting run in Dunell Hills I made up a brief report on the situation. The zombies clearly overran most of the western side of the suburb, I counted about 20 on the streets and another 5 or so in the couple of ruined buildings I checked out. I'm estimating around 30-35 of zombies in the suburb right now.

The eastern side is hanging in there but survivor population is low and most buildings are either empty or have only a handful of people. Most of the survivors I encountered are from the Dunell Hills PD.
Considering the surrounding suburbs are holding up quite good at the moment, I'll update the Danger Map to "dangerous" since "very dangerous" is a bit extreme for the situation. Bogdan out. Bogdan Radu 15:08, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
