About Omnis Squad
Omnis Squad is what happens when the Department decides to fold several non-operational squads into one. All members of the DHPD are first and foremost a member of Omnis Squad. Omnis' motto is pro omnibus hominibus which means "For all mankind". This is a reference to the fact any and all officers are squad members as well as a reminder to those same officers that the DHPD is part of the Malton Police Department system, whose job it is to protect and serve the community in all times both bountiful and trying.
Required Loadouts
Unlike dedicated squads, Omnis is considered a "Jack of all, Master of none" squad. This means that though you may find an officer who carries more of one thing than another, squad members tend to carry everything on their back to remain self sufficient, and to be able to support team members if needed. It is not uncommon to see an Omnis Squad officer drop a zombie, patch the officer next to them up, and then begin repairing and barricading the building they are in without needing to burn daylight searching for supplies.
Recruitment
Membership is open to all full DHPD officers. Probationary members of the Department will be provided guidance prior to acceptance of their first unit pin.
