Danger Alley is an open street located in the suburb of Dunningwood.

[edit] History

Before the outbreak Danger Alley was a popular walking spot for the residents of Dunningwood, where residents could feel safe and protected by the officers of Morley Walk Police Department. Its was named after local resident Henry Danger, a polar explorer who tragically lost his life after he was turned on by his husky team in 1914.

[edit] Post-Outbreak

Danger Alley has been a constant battleground since almost the first day of the zombie outbreak. Shortly after the city was quarantined reports began suggesting a large monster had been spotted in Danger Alley. Many victims were brought into local hospitals bearing claw marks bigger than any zombie could possibly inflict.

The answer came two weeks later through a random military broadcast. With the local zoo abandoned a number of animals had escaped. One of these was Dewey the bear.

[edit] Dewey

Dewey; More Machine than Man
Dewey; More Machine than Man

No one knows why Dewey came to Danger Alley. One scientist postulated it was due to its open picnic areas, south facing views, and altitude. Another scientist suggested it was because it was adjacent to a warehouse full of honey. To date neither of the scientists theories has been proven.

To date Dewey appears to have devoured:

  1. 112+ survivors
  2. Countless zombies
  3. A cat (Harold)

[edit] Stopping Dewey

Piano attempt 64 results in no injury to Dewey. Two local firemen supervising from below, however, were not so fortunate. All future plans were revised to explain the purpose of the big red "X".

Local residents have attempted a number of cunning plans to stop Dewey. These have included.

  1. Removing all manhole covers in Danger Alley. Which has so far failed and caused the death or paralysis of 132 people.
  2. The daily dropping of a piano from a piano storage warehouse located south of the alley. Sadly Dewey has moved out of the way each of the last 64 times this has been attempted. The loud noise created also attracts every zombie in the immediate area. Which Dewey has promptly eaten.

[edit] Future Plans

Residents of Danger Alley are currently looking for either a giant swinging blade OR an elaborate system of lasers with which to dispatch Dewey. After which the area should once again return to relative safety (barring zombies of course).
