As a survivor service announcement, I would like to bring to attention the fact that this suburb is currently experiencing a rash of over-barricading at both well-known entry points as well as defacing of posted notices in resource buildings. Most entry points marked on the map and in the official barricade plan are no longer accessible, and numerous lower-level and veteran players have been found trapped outside. Although a certain group of individuals may believe cading every building to EHB will somehow make the suburb safe, I can assure you that this will not work either when there are hundreds of zeds about, or none at all. I have been doing my best to keep entry points open and begun active status reports, but I ask all survivors in East Boundwood to help make this a safe suburb by enforcing the barricade policies noted both here and ingame. Thank You. -- Agent Blazkowicz 16:24, 17 August 2011 (BST)

Every time survivors try to restore a suburb up, The Dead come in and ruin everything. And this suburb is not an exception. The Sheppard Building, Alphege General, Anastasius General, and St. Jude's Hospital, and Cassell Auto Repair are among the ruined. -- Kittithaj 23:39, 20 May 2011 (BST)

The suburb is reviving, slowly, with several resource centers including the nectrotech building restored. This rebuilding is pretty tentative at the moment, though, given that the rest of the city is zombie infested. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dupreem (talkcontribs) 3:53, 17 May 2011 (BST).

The suburb is almost entirely destroyed with numerous zombies (a couple groups of 10+) roaming near the Mall and the Mansion. The rest of the suburb appears more abandoned than anything else, though, with all of its buildings ruined for an extended period. Dupreem 17:41, 15 May 2011 (BST)

The entire suburb has been ripped to pieces. Every single building I spotted is ruined with no survivors alive. CCPD has been destroyed, and I counted 29 bodies inside. The mall is completely destroyed also. JNet454 22:37, 25 April 2011 (BST)

April 2nd

East Boundwood is not a good place to be for survivors without free running. There aren't that many zombies around, it's just that every single building is EHB. Zombie population is between 10-20, not counting those outside CCPD. Last time I counted there was a horde of 28 outside that place. JNet454 02:34, 2 April 2011 (BST)

A large group of zombies is currently making its way through the suburb (50-70 zombies altogether). Survivors made a stand in the center of the district but ultimately lost. Most of the buildings remain safe, but, not lit and not safe for long. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dupreem (talkcontribs) 16:53, 22 January 2011 (UTC).

The CWPD has a generator, with fuel, but no radio transmitter. Due to a current lack of manpower, ammunition and zombie fightning know-how, the department is at present confining its duties to issuing parking tickets all the abandoned cars, except the ones on fire. Details to follow. --CaptainVideo 07:05, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

No report during this month. The suburb was considered Very Dangerous, with about a hundred zombies lurching around, destroying everything in their paths. Most of the buildings were destroyed by the attack. Perhaps survivors were too busy staying alive to report anything. Or there was no live survivor left in the suburb.

October

October 28th

Zack just took back Bale Mall. Overconfident survivors (and the odd infiltrator) have led to a horde of 60+ ripping through the Mall. Some people have fled to nearby buildings, no mention of retaking the mall yet. A good time to start 'cading and gathering supplies elsewhere. Informant 18:57, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

October 24th

Large amount of zombies in suburb, 30 or so alone are attacking NE Bale Mall, rest scattered across other key buildings. Survivors generally very well holed up, most buildings rebuild very quickly after being dropped. Mostly ferals, but it'll hit the fan if the Zeds start organising their attacks. Sleeping outside is a death sentence. Still very dangerous Informant 20:01, 24 October 2008 (BST)

At least 58 zombies on the streets, mostly focused around the NecroTech (around 23 in that area) and scattered throughout the north. A breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

  • Northern half of Bale Mall: powered.
  • NecroTech: ruined.
  • factory: ruined.
  • 5 hospitals: 2 powered, 2 not, 1 ruined.
  • 2 auto repairs: powered.

September

September 18th

EB is slowly coming back to human hands. Most places are populated and barricaded.

September 5th

The suburb is still inhospitable at this point due to all of the ruined buildings, but there isn't an extremely high zombie population. A few resource buildings are barricaded and powered, and these are attracting zombies. The Sheppard Building (NT) currently has 16 zombies attempting to break in.

Many of the ruined buildings lack any zombie prescience whatsoever, and a lot of those with zombies have one or two zombies at most. Even Bale is largely empty (14 zombies, if I recall correctly, 10 in one corner). A coordinated attempt by survivors should take E.B. back into survivor hands. -Socco 21:54, 5 September 2007 (BST)

September 1st

EB is gone and would appear to not be coming back for some time. As one survivor from out of town was quoted as saying " Bullocks to the lot of them"

August

August 27th

Survivors are advised at this point to seek more hospitable accomodations elsewhere. Undead hordes are organized and are large in number. As one determined (but slightly terrified) survivor was quoted as saying "I hate to leave without a fight, but the likely prospect of having your brains eaten really makes you think."

August 26th

The flood of destruction that swept through West Boundwood this last week has now destroyed much of the north western section of East Boundwood through to the town center as Extinction troops and feral zombies lay waste to all they encounter. Challenger Crescent Police Department is holding out amidst the carnage but most of the towns hospitals are now out of action and Extinction is currently laying siege to the Sheppard NT. Mobs of zombies from the collapse of Bale Mall in the town's south are also moving northwards leaving the residents caught in an undead pincer. --Zeug 15:22, 26 August 2007 (BST)

EB has been declared an "Extinction Zone" by Extinction. All survivors are advised to exercise extreme caution in the suburb (or better yet leave), which will no doubt go red very soon. East Boundwood is overrun. There are hordes of zombies everywhere and barricades are falling. I barely made it out of the Sheppard Building as its barricades went down and its generator was destroyed. We've lost the suburb people; run for it. Dirk Rapier 01:45, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

Since the fall of Caiger, Bale Mall is experiencing a huge influx of zombie spys. Early this morning the confirmed Shacknews spy ZombieLobo" (id=648223) arrived in the Bale Mall from Caiger. This clown (who has zombie in his name, has full zombie skills and only helpful human ones) brazenly strolls into Bale making negative comments about the Caiger Mall survivors, and all the while has "shacknews.com" entered in his profile link. The zombie spys in Bale are becoming bigger in number and in boldness. Just yesterday, 5 Humans with brain rot, zombie skills, NO human skills and no descriptions/group were all freely sleeping in the adjoining St.Matthews hospital without anyone caring. Thankfully a few Bale Mall citizens dilligently killed these zombie spys posing as humans. The recent rise in zombie spys is especially troubling considering that Shacknews had the same M.O. for Caiger. What Shacknews does is send in a lot of zed spys pretending to be human right before the shacknews zombie hordes attack. The zed spys get there early in order to fit in and not raise suscpicion, and to scout the mall and report info on weaknesses before the invasion. Then shacknews hits all the surrounding NT buildings before attacking a chosen corner based on the intel from embedded spys. One of the mistakes the Caiger survivors made was not bothering to kill the zed spys when they were pointed out. The Bale Mall survivors cannot let this mistake happen with them. We have to take the zombie trash out and not let it pile up in our mall, and even more importantly we need to check profiles before we revive. Do not revive zombie spys, Gkers, Pkers and that will go a long way in helping to defend the mall.
