Its proximity to Fort Creedy, Hildebrand Mall, Woodroffe Mall, Mitchem Mall, Giddings Mall, Tynte Mall, Nichols Mall, Blesley Mall, Joachim Mall, Lumber Mall, Fort Perryn & Tolman Power Station, along with it's high percentage of hospitals, police departments & Necrotech buildings make this suburb one of the most tactically valuable in Malton.

[edit] Local Entertainment
The Clatworthy Arms and Club Somerton have merged to create the best club/pub experience in the whole of Malton. In addition, Mattravers Cinema and Clapcott Cinema have been re-opened under new management.
[edit] Barricade Plan
Edgecombe has its own barricade plan.
[edit] Warning
Proximity to valuable resources makes Edgecombe highly valuable to survivors, but also marks the suburb as a high-profile target for zombie hordes. Survivors may find travel through Edgecombe hazardous without the free running skill.

[edit] July 1st
Zombie update of 75,53 to 77,55: Pavy Plaza Police Dept: 5 zeds; Digby Walk: 6 zeds; the Caffin Building: 6 zeds, 2 survivors outside. Also, the Caffin Building has no barricades and lacks power; 4 zeds inside. --ZombieHunter2009, 7:23 PM (EDT)
Zombie update of 76,55 to 78,57: Southcott Plaza Fire Station has 3 zeds outside. --ZombieHunter2009, 7:23 PM (EDT)
[edit] June 2008
June 30th Caffin NT is EHB and powered, Browne NT is EHB. Both are being attacked by zombies regularly it seems. Other buildings in the NorthWestern region are ruined. No hospital is powered, but other buildings are strangely. --McSkullcracken 05:40, 1 July 2008 (BST)
June 20th Mayer NT has the largest group of zeds I can see on a scan with 7 in front of the building. Small, assorted groups speckle the east side of the suburb, but there are not major break ins. In other news, the Barricade Plans needs major revamping, as no one is following it. A spray team needs to go around and direct survivors to the proper procedures. Of course, if the pattern indicates anything, this suburb should be under siege in the next week, so... --Vandurn 14:10, 20 June 2008 (BST)
June 19th As a result of the zombie sieges across Malton, Edgecombe is finally starting to see a zombie presence. Many buildings on the west side of the suburb, including Dennis General Hospital, which fell last night, have fallen are are currently salted. While the central part of the suburb is actually seeing no zombies at all, the east has a small zombie presence, as Tily Row PD is under siege. Not actually your suburb, but it's the only but I could see. --Vandurn 14:50, 19 June 2008 (BST)
RRF have been sighted in the area loads are holding up in gynn bank would love some one to clear em out--Elwood'Blues 16:11, 19 June 2008 (BST)
June 3rd Still a good sized zombie population in Edgecombe, but largest groups are less than 10 outside of the Revive Points. Some resource buildings have been rebuilt, but there are still many ruined buildings, though a considerable number of these are not occupied by zombies or survivors. Danger level downgraded from Red(VeryDangerous) to Orange(Dangerous).--McSkullcracken 01:19, 4 June 2008 (BST)
[edit] May 2008
May 28th Over 13 zombies at digby waiting to be healed, with another 7 or 8 scattered directly around. Help us out anyone? Tylerisfat 23:34, 28 May 2008 (BST)
External Military 25.96 MHz: "... can see around a hundred and fifty on the streets of Edgecombe ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... several buildings with power ... most of the buildings are ruined ... some survivor activity in the Browne Building ... the Caffin ..." (3 hours and 2 minutes ago) --WanYao 00:24, 28 May 2008 (BST)
- Following the advice of the External Military Report, the Nightly Inquisition of the Militant Order of Barhah has destroyed the Browne Building NT, as well as Hardisty Auto Repair. After a brief effort at repair, the Caffin Building NT is again ruined, as is the Baxter Building, Chanter Alley Police Department, Pavy Plaza Police Department, Frye Auto Repair, a warehouse at 76,54, St Louis's Hospital, Denis General Hospital, and Margaret General Hospital.--FLZombie 12:43, 28 May 2008 (BST)
All ruinable buildings in the suburb are ruined, no survivor presence seen, Revive Points have 10+ each. While zombies are around most buildings, they are not inside every ruined building.--McSkullcracken 02:23, 29 May 2008 (BST)
May 26th The Militant Order of Barhah has admitted sending it's vanguard to perform exploratory attacks in southern Edgecombe. Elements from Bairn Ceatharn and The Barhahry Corsairs strike teams have raided a few buildings so far. It seems that the MOB has decided to send it's main force into the suburb, and leave it in ruins, as Crowbank was just left yesterday after a whithering week long onslaught. MOB is still feeding passing zombies and sharing their kills with unaffiliated zeds as well those from other groups. Survivors are cautioned to beef up their barricade plans and avoid exiting the buildings at all costs.--FLZombie 16:07, 26 May 2008 (BST)
-Caffin NT building along with its surrounding buildings have been over run ~30 zeds in immediate area. MMB565
- The Maver NT building and many around it have been ruined. South Edgecombe has about 1-3 zombies per block, groups of around 10 at resource buildings. Have changed Edgecombes danger level to Dangerous.--McSkullcracken 02:06, 27 May 2008 (BST)
May 25th The Maver NT building in the southeast Edgecombe is under siege with undeads inside. Some survivors are trying to defend from Stadling Walk PD. Hopefully Edgecombe won't be ruined as quickly as Vinetown seemed to be... Jaydig 07:58, 25 May 2008 (BST)
- Maver and Stadling PD have now been destroyed. Jaydig 21:00, 25 May 2008 (BST)
May 24th Members of the Militant Order of Barhah spotted in the southern region of Edgecombe, St. Deusdedits Hospital is ruined with 6 zombies inside.--McSkullcracken 06:10, 24 May 2008 (BST)
May 12th A quick run through the suburb this morning - all the buildings I encountered are VSB or greater (some under 'caded!), and up and running. A DNA scan at the Maver NT building showed only one tagged zombie in the 'burb. Would recommend updating the status to "green". --Raije 14:20, 12 May 2008 (BST)
May 9th Zombies have managed to ruin a number of buildings, including Pavey Plaza PD and the Caffin NT, though Caffin seems to have been repaired. Regardless, survivors should get rid of the zombies in the ruined buildings and watch their own barricades.--McSkullcracken 01:42, 11 May 2008 (BST)
May 7th
- External Military Report: "... can see twenty or so on the streets of Edgecombe ... mostly just stragglers, no organised groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... can't see a single ruined building ... some survivor activity in the Maver Building ..." --Dr Cory Bjornson 01:33, 8 May 2008 (BST)
May 5th The suburb is in good shape overall. A few members of The Dead can be found wandering around, and the Caffin NT has at least 6 zombies trying to get in, but really the suburb is quite safe...for now.--McSkullcracken 04:12, 6 May 2008 (BST)
May 1st A few Zombies walking the streets. Many buildings are destroyed but there are still a few safehouses. (Patti J - MPS)--Kiriwiki 03:54, 1 May 2008 (BST)
- All resource buildings are in very good shape, and the largest group of zombies stands at ten, outside of the Tredaway building. Suburb's looking good to me.--FT MCI 18:04, 1 May 2008 (BST)
[edit] April 2008
April 24th "whispers"Shhh...nobody tell the zombies...but I think this suburb MIGHT be on its way to recovery. NTs are repaired and barricaded, along with most other buildings. Even the number of zombies has gone down. Did the Headshots finally kick in?--McSkullcracken 04:26, 24 April 2008 (BST)
April 13th This area is riddled with Zombies, there is hardly a block of this section that doesn't have Zombies in it. There are a few barricaded buildings still here but they will not last long with this menny zombies here. If you are in this area you must leave as quickly as possible or build a tank.
April 12th
- Fiddlesticks, I knew I shouldn't have had a bit of optimism. The zombies are coming back into Edgecombe, I think the zombie group The Dead is back. And they have already taken out all three NTs and are starting on the Hospitals. Watch the barricades people.--McSkullcracken 03:29, 12 April 2008 (BST)
April 11th
- St. Laurence Hospital is no more. However, the zombie horde has also scattered. --Lokanus 00:20, 11 April 2008 (BST)
April 10th
- Zombie activity is on the increase. Break ins reported in Northern part of the Suburb. Advise all survivors to organize. --Lokanus 01:24, 10 April 2008 (BST)
April 6th
- Hmm...it looks like there aren't as many zombies around here as there have been for the past month or so. Perhaps it is a little safer in Edgecombe now. Perhaps. --McSkullcracken 01:37, 6 April 2008 (BST)
