Description

This was going to be a factory located in the suburb of Rhodenbank, but construction was never completed. As such, the factory is not stocked with any machinery other than construction equipment. While this does make the building particularly sparse of furnishings and the lack of indoor plumbing a problem, the building supplies scattered throughout the factory do provide survivors with access to easy barricading materials. In more than a few cases industrious survivors have even built new walls or other entrenchments within the factory that were obviously not in the original blueprints. Survivors unfamiliar with the building often comment that these post-outbreak enhancements have given the factory a "fortress-like" appearance.

Barricade Policy

Please keep this building at EHB.

In accordance with the Rhodenbank Civil Defense Corps barricade plan the location should be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times. The true purpose of this building is to serve as a heavily fortified shelter for Malton's veteran survivors.

Current Events

October 28th, 2009 - oO Willie - returned again and found the power is still off, 4 lightly wounded survivors, one zombie and barricades at lightly barricaded. Shot the zombie again (o_O) and barricaded the building to HB++. Another survivor came in and healed everyone ... so it's a race to see who wakes first.

update - Cyrus McGlenn came by and took care of the lone zombie. He installed a generator before taking off. Oh my bad, I think he took the barricades to VHB too.

October 27th, 2009 - oO Willie - Noticed lights were suddenly off in factory when I was in Nulty looking for fuel. Went to check up,3 survivors with no power (duh O-o), 1 zombie inside and barricades at QSB.
I shot the zombie once .. I found out it was at full health ... I had to reload as that was my last shot ... I was low on AP .... oooopppppsss O-o. I decided to be more useful barricading ...

October 15th, 2009 - oO Willie 4 survivors including myself. Power on and EHB. Looks like the survivors have made some good in-roads into taking back this corner of Rhodenbank. Still trying to find a generator though ...

September 25st, 2009 - oO Willie almost died inside this factory as I woke up with one hp and a boatload of zombies inside. Whoever was with me last night was either dead or fled ... I healed up a little before legging it myself.

September 21st, 2009 - oO Willie no zombies outside but factory is ruined with no power and barricades. 6 zombie presence in the immediate sectors.

December 5th, 2008 - Day 2, or at least that's how it seemed for members of D.I.T.P.S sheltering in the old factory. Rotten Ray reported that the factory was holding strong and that he was keeping company with a fairly large band of survivors who were holding the factory and nearby Marcellus General Hospital as their base of operations in Rhodenbank. At this time no zombie sightings were reported outside.

Update: Metal Fox recon reported that there were 3 zombies outside the factory.

December 4th, 2008 - Healer computer2slow, of the D.I.T.P.S, has reported that a band of survivors are sheltering amid the factory's many rooms. The factory has been Extremely Heavily barricaded in an effort to keep out roving bands of feral zombies who are in the area.

Update: Officer Murphy of Dead vs Blue reported that a zombie had busted into the factory. Murphy managed to Very Heavily barricade the building again, but the zombie was still inside.
