Description

This is a factory located in the suburb of Pescodside. Owned by AE ADAM, the factory produced a wide range of Adam-brand balances and scales for the laboratory, education, industrial, retail, and medical markets around Malton. Whether biochemists in pharmaceutical labs, geologists in the field, teachers in the classroom, or industrial workers on the assembly line the factory prided itself on always having a series of balance or scale to suit their specific needs. In addition to sales, the factory also dealt in all aspects of service, repair, maintenance and calibration for its products. Not a small company, AE Adam also has factories located in South Africa, Australia, and China. This was fortunate for them since they certainly no longer had access to their factory in Malton.

In the months following the "Malton Incident" survivors made due with sheltering the large building's many rooms and offices, but found little use for the balances or scales produced there. As such, it is no surprise that the factories large machinery has remained silent long after the epidemic had spread through Pescodside.

Barricade Policy

This building should be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the mutually agreed-upon Pescodside Barricade Plan set forth by local survivor groups and the Dulston Alliance, who routinely work together to monitor that the barricades for this building are at the aforementioned level. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors.

Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any member of the Dulston Alliance or a vigilante-minded survivor who catches the culprit in the act. If this happens the accused survivor must present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly. So always be cautious lest you find yourself summarily executed for crimes against humanity.

Current Events

September 20th, 2008 - Strange... 3 years worth of news that all took place in September. FOXHOUND recon reported that the factory was barricaded and in survivor hands, for the time being. The fact that there were 17 zombies next door at the Inman Building though was cause for some concern.

September 8th, 2007 - Building is VHB and powered. --Keyser666 22:49, 8 September 2007 (BST)

September 13th, 2006 - Fisty Jones and several more zombies from the Minions of the Apocalypse struggled with a frantic barricader inside the factory, before finally gaining entrance and proving that hardhats were no great protection against zombies, despite what the safety regulations may say. Finishing here, the zombies moved north to Croom Towers.
