The French Foreign Legion is a military group, a division of the French Army, created specially for foreign nationals. The Legion is known across the world as an elite military unit. Drafted in as a superb combat group, the Foreign Legion aims to restore order the Malton.

The Legion's Story

The French Foreign Legion was created by Louis Philippe, then King of the French, on 10 March 1831. The purpose of the Legion was to remove disruptive elements from society and put them to use fighting the enemies of France. Recruits included failed revolutionaries from the rest of Europe, soldiers from the disbanded foreign regiments, and troublemakers in general, both foreign and French. Algeria was designated as the Legion's home and in late 1831, the first Legionnaires landed in Algeria, the country that would be the Legion's homeland for 130 years and shape its character.

The Legion has fought in conflicts world wide: from Spain and France to Mexico and the Far East, from the First Carlist War in the 1800s till the Gulf war in the late 20th Century. Famous world-wide for its combat exploits, the Legion was called upon to solve issues in Malton.

The Legion's Aims

The French Foreign Legion, formerly 10 Regiments of world class soldiers, have been depleted by warfare and death. Now the Legion intends to grow in numbers and retake Malton for the people.

The Legion currently has base of operations in Gulsonside, and from there intends to project across Malton and reclaim land of the survivors.
