  • May 5 2011 Giddings Mall almost completely empty! 2 zombies in entire mall! What better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo than to take back Giddings?--Peter Mason 13:23, 5 May 2011 (BST)

  • September 19 2010 Here is a photo of the mall. Taken by another user but sure. The mall is reconstructing as Z's are attacking the NT right now.

  • September 2 2010 A group of roughly 40 zombies have ruined all four blocks of Giddings Mall!! Afterwards spreading out and destroying surrounding buildings. At this time there are no human survivors and the zombie death toll is around 5. This is a sad day being that i was one of the participating zombies. It seems the last few symbols of hope for this community are being snuffed out...
  • July 20 2010 Joint attack by some Big Bash 3 zombies and Red Triangle Circus Gang zombies are taking over the southwest corner! 28 zombies inside so far! Get your butts in the Mall and kill some filthy zombies! We will show them!--Sgt Havok 08:08, 20 July 2010 (BST)
  • July 18 2010 Just been there. Northeastern part of building is in zombie hands. About ten in there at the moment. The rest of the mall still seems to belong to the survivors, as well as most nearby buildings.

--Pit Pleti 19:22, 18 July 2010 (BST)

  • July 14 2010 According to my radio, the mall is under heavy attack and about 7 zombies inside. I would advise some people to get their butts down there. Also heard there may be a few PKers around so I would be careful where you sleep... --BenjoDeath 16:28 July 14 2010 (GMT)
  • July 3rd, 2010 Mall looks completely safe from zed hands, for now at least. Nearby NT scans show a single walking zombie. Big Bash 3 is slowly heading our way, though. --Warbird108 16:38, 3 July 2010 (BST)
  • April 29th, 2010 The mall is in survivor hands. --Jesant13 02:45, 30 April 2010 (BST)
  • April 27th, 2010

North East and South East corners currently ruined. South West and North West with 2 survivors about to be overrun.

  • March 8th, 2010

Ransacked by the Ridleybank Resistance Front. 2 days later, it is retaken, 1 day later it is ransacked again.

  • February 15, 2010

Mall is full of survivors and zombies are at a minimum.

  • December 1st, 2009 After numerous small break-in attempts by Lurch for the Cure party-goers, a final push by members of Minions of the Apocalypse saw 70 zambahz moving through the mall, which is currently free of harmanity in both north corners. With most survivors now infected or fleeing and Fort Creedy under heavy siege, it seems likely the whole mall will be very much open to the public and the spirit of BarHah in a few short hours. While surrounding buildings remain powered, the Morrish building is currently being aired and freshened by the RRF and the GMT Breakfast Club. --Not a Zombie Honest 06:29, 01 December 2009 (GMT)
  • September 19th, 2009 The mall is up and running.--Jay the Irishman 05:31, 20 September 2009 (BST)
  • August 21st, 2009 The mall is in a state of ruin, with zeds occupying the inside of the building in all four corners. Krankovich 18:43, 21 August 2009 (BST)
  • August 17th, 2009 The whole mall has been repaired and caded, with no zeds inside the building. Though, there's also virtually no survivor presence inside the building either. About a dozen or so standing zeds are currently attacking the empty mall. Krankovich 16:34, 17 August 2009 (BST)
  • August 14th, 2009 Zombie population of the mall has fallen to seven, and survivors are seen poking their noses into the dark, fetid corners. --Marty Chex 17:22, 14 August 2009 (EST)
  • August 12th, 2009 The entire mall has been ruined with many survivor casualties... including me :( --BlackDeath3 20:06, 12 August 2009 (BST)
  • July 23th, 2009 The entire Mall is up and lit. Good thing too. I need supplies. --waynehom 05:02, 23 July 2009 (BST)
  • June 9th, 2009 Reports of our demise have been greatly exaggerated! Well, recently anyhow. The entire Mall is up and lit, and despite radio spam trying to claim otherwise, it is sound as a drum. --Boris 05:02, 10 June 2009 (BST)
  • April 29 th, 2009: Mall is eated by the Mall Tour and the RRF! --Johnny Bass 15:22, 29 April 2009 (BST)

  • February 19th, 2009: Somebody is currently spamming the radio for numerous requests to reclaim the nearby NT facility, while breakins are occurring more often, at least three survivors have been dragged into the street and there have been at least two incidents of PKing. Nemesis645 09:28, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
  • February 06 th, 2009: Two people belonging to a group called GENTLEMEN recently shot up the mall at 11:34 (GMT -5) three survivors were killed in the act and the shooters are still at large. --Kouchpotato T 04:57, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

  • December 22nd, 2008: Survivors took control of the mall a day or so ago, as all corners are powered and barricaded. There is an unknown number of individuals inside, but there are four zombies outside the SW corner. A supply crate was dropped outside the SE corner of the mall several hours ago, but it was destroyed by a zombie. --ZsL 00:35, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

  • November 25th, 2008: Zombies have breached the north east corner, with 3 inside and 25 outside. Currently the doors are secured. There are 30+ zeds at the local RP. --Angusburger 18:00, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
  • November 16th, 2008: Living have regained the mall. There are about 0-3 zombies at each block but a greater amount of survivors. --hlouis 2:45, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
  • November 2nd, 2008: 50 zombies in SE corner, rest of the corners are filled with survivors, outside SE corner are 15 zombies and 2 more outside the SW corner--Brian eetar 12:35, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Stats: 58 zombies at the local revive point, 67 zombies inside the mall, 200+ survivors still inside, the southeast corner is ransacked.--Angusburger 12:54, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

It took The Militant Order of Barhah 35 hours to ruin both the Morrish NT and Giddings. There were 489 survivors at the beginning of the attack. -- Grogh 00:08, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

  • November 2nd, 2008: 27 zombies in giddings, no survivors that i could see, most of the zombies are in the south east corner, from what i can see outside the mall there are large amounts of zombies (upwards of 30) out there as well, large amounts of bodies in the southeast corner, i presume a lot of people didn't make it out --Osdeath 09:12, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
  • November 1st, 2008: Break in the southeast corner of the mall, 40 zeds inside, unknown numbers immediately outside, but previous reports indicate at least another 40. High numbers of rotters likely. There's still hundreds of people in the mall who have yet to evacuate, or even realize the problem. If Giddings is to stand, those 40 need to be taken care of quickly.--Wildman curt 23:51, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
  • October 31st, 2008: Increasing number of zeds outside the mall and surrounding buildings, including a small group outside of the southeast corner. still safe, but start stocking up, guys. --xjustxsomexkid 6:25, 31 October 2008 (EST)
  • September 28th, 2008: The mall is completely secure, all corners still EHB, and the NecroNet shows very low zed count, and some of the entry points are back to VSB. Still a great place to stop on the way to Fort Creedy (Although the survivors won't let it for zeds...)! --Dmitribeta 2:45, 28 September 2008 (EST)
  • September 9th, 2008: Everyone in here is happyish... all corners EHB and NecroNet shows very few zeds anywhere in town we are safe for now.
  • September 5th, 2008: Everything is fine here, all entrances to the mall has been extremely barricaded. The only way in it is to Free Run it. For anyone who is reading this, the mall is a safehouse. --Soldier 02:41, 6 September 2008 (BST)
  • July 26th, 2008: Going through Giddings, I saw about 10 Zombies inside, a well organised group of survivors can easily take the mall back with little difficulty.--Mianthadore 02:49, 26 July 2008 (BST)
  • July 20th, 2008: Giddings is swamped in zombies and nearly every building is ransacked. The around one hundred humans that escaped from Giddings lower corners and made it to Morrish (like me) have all now been killed with a break in on the NT. No joke I have not seen a single survivor since then. - Ninja13
  • July 17th, 2008: Major break in. Zombies flooded inside with members from groups including RRF, LUE, Sanitarium, and FU. The carnage began when the Northwest corner of Giddings was busted open. Like kids in a free candy store, the brains were devoured and a few unfortunate humans were dragged outside to the delight of feral zombies. Before the night ended RRF strike team Team America shambled in and not only cleared the remaining brains in the Northwest corner of the mall, but managed to taste-test quiet a few brains in the Northeast corner as well. Soon after the Northwest corner was cleared LUE leader Brona scored the ruin. Currently 80+ zombies spread throughout the Northwest and Northeast corners. Things aren't looking good for the humans in Giddings.--Safetyinnumbers 04:54, 18 July 2008 (BST)
  • July 7th, 2008: Giddings Mall has over 300 survivors inside and we are now giving out aid to those who need it. Ignore the status symbol at the top of the page. I would change it, but I have no idea how. KingdomsSword 18:52, 07 July 2008 (PST)
  • June 30th, 2008: No movement from inside... I've recently gotten a message from them but they aren't letting survivors in the mall...They're snipping innocent people, also were hiding in a place close to and we wait for them to realise that they need uss..RoyMoll14
  • June 7th, 2008: Minor break in, believed to be lead by survivor Johnny Lockerson. I was in the NE corner and noticed there was no barricading and two zeds inside. I also noticed survivor Johnny Lockerson, who had previously been outside was now inside. I believe he helped two zeds break down the 'cades then opened the door for them. Then as I began recading he started shooting me. I shot back and got him down to 2 HP before running out of AP, I have probably now been killed, by Johnny Lockerson. Regurdless of whether he does kill me or not, I will kill him in revenge for his attack on me. Ryan Shuck
  • May 29th, 2008: Over 500 survivors in the mall and the whole place is EHB, only 4 zeds in the nw corner--Minigun4523 21:21, 29 May 2008 (BST)

OH GOD THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING. If you care at all about Giddings, get to the Morrish Building asap. Survivors will be in the minority there once the zeds are through with Giddings itself, the doors are open, and the Farmer Building is gone. --einexile 16:02, 10 April 2008 (BST)

  • March 23rd, 2008: Giddings is gone. All survivors fled or died in the following carnage. The mall is gutted and fallen survivors are choking up the nearest revive points. All is lost, to the spoils go "The Big Bash II".

I'd like to add, too, that The Dead were also a major part of the push. Congratulations to all parties involved in any case. Giddings will one day return to the survivors. --Black N Deckard 22:53, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

  • March 22nd, 2008: SE Giddings has been ruined with a massive amount of The Big Bash 2 inside with quite a large slew of other groups mixed in. Many of the survivors who fall rise up and attack other survivors instead of attacking zombies like many of them do. The death of giddings is here. --Generic Zombie A 18:55, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

92 zombies in the SE corner of the mall,we got a generator running in the SW corner, approximately 170 people here. --SiEVE 14:54, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

148 zombies in the SE corner of the mall. No running generator in any of the mall's corners. 186 zombies inside the SW corner. Some of the survivors that are thinking that the mall is lost fled. --Zombargh 22:10, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

  • March 21st, 2008: SE corner experiencing major breakins, it can be safely assumed that Giddings will be ruined within 48 hours. Piiillbox 06:33, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

March 13th, 2008: Minor Breakins occur in the NE corner at times, but nothing that isn't squashed quickly. PKing and GKing occurring on a daily basis. Things are quiet as a mouse.--Happykook 00:37, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

  • February 21st, 2008: The Zeds are gone, there is only one rotter hanging outside Morrish chewing on the cades, The mall is EHB on all corners with Power and Radio's back up. Life is back to normal in Giddings. --Happykook 06:37, 21 February 2008 (CST)
  • February 9th, 2008: The struggle continues in Giddings, the eastern half of the Mall is in survivor hands and the western half in zombie hands. All but a small handful of the survivors in the mall are zerg accounts with, as Lord Rutherford commented below, filthy names. Documented here and here. --David Suzuki 23:49, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
  • February 8th, 2008: The northern half of the mall is now in zombie hands, while the southern half is in survivor hands. There are currently 20 survivors and 22 zombies inside. More than half of the survivors are level one characters who were created today and yesterday. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 20:32, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
  • February 7th, 2008: Right now there are only 19 zeds in the whole mall, 6 zeds in Morrish, 2 in Byrne, and 0 in Bromley. Now is the time to take the mall back!!! --DoctorRevive 06:30 CST 7 Feb 08
There's only ~10 left and the East half is barricaded.----Secruss|Yak|Brahnz!|CGR|PKA|800px-Flag of the United States.svg.png|EMLN|Templates|RRF|RFTM|Crap|WHOZ|Evil3.gif|MU|GN|C2008|Chippy.gif|19:56, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

-UPDATE- The eastern half of the mall is HB with over a dozen survivors fighting back what little remains of the zombie hoard. Happykook's House (aka the warehouse on the NW corner of the mall) is at EHB as a safehouse and HQ for retaking the mall. We need everyone back to the mall ASAP!!! there are only a dozen zeds left inside. we can have the mall, and all surrounding buildings back up and running within 48 hours if everyone can get back now and help out!!!

Indeed, giddings has been half retaken. Mostly by zergs with names like eatmefirst and others too filthy to mention here. Were this a POV page I'd claim sore losers. Hope you all get banned. Lord Rutherford 01:40, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
  • February 1st, 2008: As of right now, Giddings has fallen. All buildings ruined, zombies stationed both in and outside.--Janos Kire 04:59, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

I figured I would make some templates for this battle so I made one for each of the sides. So feel free to place them in your wiki page to display what you did in the battle. Also I used picture from the Crusades because I just got done watching Kingdom of Heaven and it reminded me a lot of this battle.--Bill Striker C.I.A. 02:03, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

  • January 31st, 2008: Giddings Mall's South East corner has been RUINED!, over 300 zombies have broken in and have begun smashing the decorations and furniture. The stores are closed and survivors are fleeing somewhere they won't be hugged violently. Property values are dropping, you should have invested in futures!--Karekmaps?! 05:21, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
PKers continue to unload ammo into the assaulted areas of the mall, murdering other survivors and enjoying the chaos of the massive battle. --Donathin 07:29, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Both Southern corners now lie in zombie hands: -- Iscariot 15:12, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Three blocks of the mall are now ruined: -- Iscariot 15:40, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

The entire mall lies in ruins with over 550 zombies inside having a party after a long siege. --TouchingVirus 17:05, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Good Morning Tasty!! Giddings Mall is now completely ruined, and stands as putrifying example of the flaws in modern consumerism. A mighty swelling of close to 500 zambah comrades slouches and shambles there now, celebrating the patient spirit of so-called Barhah, which some claim is the only true and just cause any corpse could fight for. The only looting taking place at the mall seems to be that of Bra!nz from the foolish harman scouts who venture within... -- The Lamb 18:07, 31 January 2008 (GMT)

The entire mall is ruined, and Morrish is being over run as I type, with about 100-200 zombies inside the building already. The siege is over, and the zombies have won. I'd suggest all survivors leave the area of the mall until the zombies move on. --Justin 21:24, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

  • January 30th, 2008: A rotting wave of 316 zombies buries the last 45 survivors in the SE corner, death, fear and the unblinking malice of the undead wash over the last bright light of the defenders. Each brave defender who chooses to die in the mall tonight delays the horde's victory another few minutes. Most will flee, some will choose to fight to the last breath, the rest are fleeing even now. The riotous groaning and roaring of the undead drowns out the screams of the dying. Tonight Giddings mall has become hell. --Electrasol 03:52, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
  • January 29th, 2008: Nearly a hundred zombies inside the eastern half of Giddings mall at some points, barricades going up and down, sometimes twice a minute, the weight of the horde is starting to wear down the defenders at this point. Giddings may not last the night. The first signs of survivor confusion and panic have been spotted in the defense of the weakened SE corner of the mall. With a flurry of building materials, rotting flesh and a hail of bullets the fate of the mall, and all those inside, will be decided in that SE corner in the next few hours. --Electrasol 03:14, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
75 zombies spearheaded by the Big Bash filed into the NW corner today in a strong push to take the mall, 3 hours later a few still remain. The survivors pushed them back for now but how much longer can they maintain?--DonTickles 04:08, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Still watching the 'cades fall...I don't think the survivors have enough sofas and freezers to stop this horde [1]...the number of survivors is beginning to wane and the lack of support is being noticed by each side due to the increased zombie attacks and sudden trench coating on the survivors behalf...--Chaplain Drakon Macar 05:23, 29 January 2008 (UTC) Also I vow to find that damn music room because I want more music and less songs on repeat, I will find it if it's the last thing I do!
60 zombies fighting it out with 412 survivors in NE corner. All corners dark. This is looking to be a long night.--Rico Montoya 01:30, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
80+ zombies inside, spread between the NE and SE corners, cades in both corners constantly going down. Zombies will be able to get inside easily for the next few hours.--DonTickles 01:55, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
the mall is falling, a mass break in with 100+ zeds in the mall--Worthog117 22:34, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Heh, this is an interesting battle. The SE corner is gone for good and the NE will no doubt collapse very, very soon. The NW is soon to follow. 22:57, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

The SE corner is not done yet, although it's getting there. Zeds outnumber humans 2:1, if nothing is done tonight to whittle down their numbers the battle will finally end. --Don T 16:48 30 January 2008 (EST)

  • January 28th, 2008: Nearly fifty zombies in the Northwest Corner, barricades in the packed NE are starting to flutter up and down under the constant pounding of four hundred zombies outside, as the numbers start to equalize and the horde grows in size and ferocity the tide seems to be turning to favor the undead. How much longer can the survivors maintain their stalemate? Will tonight be the night the bash finally smashes Giddings mall? --Electrasol 01:27, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Sustained break in activity today at Giddings mall, with repeated break-ins in the Eastern half of the mall, hundreds of survivors are still present and fiercely resisting the waves of undead that came pouring through the breaches in the survivors makeshift barricades, sealing the mall and driving the undead back for now. How many more times can the brave survivors turn back the wave of rotting zombies? How many survivors will wake up safe in the mall, and how many dead in the ever growing heap of bodies outside the mall? The next twenty-four hours will tell the tale. Developing... --Electrasol 01:38, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Currently there's a minor break-in of about 5 zombies. When i first logged in their were 6 in NE and 1 in SW. Both of those areas are currently without power.--Rico Montoya 05:54, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
The Zombie hordes are becoming restless and are now pounding away at the barricades in waves. Cades are falling down at least once every two hours. If these survivors developed tactics then the mall may be saved...otherwise, I fear that the zeds will have more Bra!nz really, really soon...--Chaplain Drakon Macar 19:59, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Despite the siege becoming more of a straight-up fight, the mall is still standing strong. All corners are powered and caded as of this report, and the most recent zombie incursions have been soundly repulsed. --James Ennis 21:47, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

  • January 27th, 2008: Yet another break in this morning in SE Giddings, a slow stream of Zeds are making their way into the mall as Survivors are sleeping...--DrakonMacar 14:44, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

20 zeds in Giddings, slowly increasing in number, i believe that giddings is over :(, appear to be no onliners but the zed i was shooting at was regaining HP, could death cultists be helping them? --Hurricane63 15:18, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Confirmed PKers are aiding the zombies inside Giddings and Death Cultists have finally shown their true colours! Multi-breaches have been reported, Giddings is getting hit and hit hard...--DrakonMacar 16:27, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Giddings is once again safe. Cades are holding and breakins have been cleared. Cavek 17:58, 27 January 2008

31 Zeds have broken into NE Giddings and 1 in NW Giddings and increasing - cades getting brought constantly brought up and down with Zeds getting thrown out almost as fast as they are coming in --Feon Kensai 20:47, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

  • January 26th, 2008: Small break-in earlier this afternoon, roughly 6-7 zeds, that focused on taking out generators. However, a quick response by survivors replaced the destroyed machines and repulsed the attack.--James Ennis 22:29, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

  • January 25th, 2008: Large Break in tonight, thirty Zeds involved--DrakonMacar 02:33, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Assuming this is true, it was over very fast, because I just logged in to no zeds in the mall at all. --Heretic144 05:34, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

It's true, about ten survivors killed by zombies and another 3 dragged outside, just in the SE where they broke in. A concerted attack a few minutes after 02:00 GMT. Garum 11:30, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
  • January 24th, 2008: Fierce fighting continues both outside and inside Giddings mall, nearly three hundred of the shambling undead hammer away at the barricades outside the north east corner, while over four hundred survivors keep working on the barricades and bravely defending the mall, the siege looks to be at a stalemate for now, waiting on one side or the other to adapt their tactics to the new situation. --Electrasol 02:42, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

At approximately 9:35 PM EST NW Giddings was broken wide open. Although zeds were being killed and the barricades were slowly creep back up, it was impossible to get them past lightly barricaded and therefor as soon as a zombie would be killed it seemed a new one would walk in in his place. As of when I ran out of AP (Approximately 9:45) there were 29 zeds in NW. It didn't help that not many survivors responded to the many calls for help, perhaps we survivors have gotten lazy and thought the siege over? --Hitokiri 02:50, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

The NW corner is still unpowered. Zed numbers have dropped to 13. The lone zed in the SW has been eliminated. This is still up in the air, but there seem to be a good amount of active survivors reacting.--Jarus 3:05, 24 January 2008 (GMT)

The NW corner is repowered and recaded to EHB as of 22:37 EST --Don T

As of 08:54 EST, Giddings is still in survivor hands. Zombie numbers seem to have increased somewhat, most likely due to the updates. There have been several break-ins in the past hours but they have all been dealt with and the mall remains populated by the living. The new update hasn't seemed to affect the siege that much simply due to the overwhelming numerical advantage of the Giddings defenders. --Jarus

2:15 EST, NW Giddings weathered a break-in of approximately a dozen zeds, but is back up to ESB, with the survivors responding extremely quickly. The mall still stands, but the siege is not going away anytime quickly. --The Senator

  • January 23rd, 2008: I've created a new page POV News for people who wish to post news in POV. The new page has a section for each of the games three main factions so I figured it would help keep the main page NPOV and the fun POV news on its own safe page. Also if the idea catches on could one of the higher ups on here make the section a regular link because I have a feeling it will catch on and be useful.--Bill Striker C.I.A. 00:32, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

  • January 18th, 2008: Major push of the bash against the northern parts of the mall, in a cordinated attack with pkers the break-in in the north increased. The split of the horde in two mayor branchs allowed to attack two objectives at the same time, meanwhile the time of response of the survivors become slow.---Random Void 05:29, 18 January 2008

As of 09:30PM EST, zombies have broken into the NE and NW portions of the wall. Survivor response was quick, but the break-in is a major security breach.
  • January 9th, 2008: Reports of survivor numbers of about 90 in both northern corners, over 200 in the SW, and 180 in the SE of the mall itself, and 320 in the Morrish Building, with the horde of over 300 standing zombies still concentrating on Morrish and the two auto repairs to the south of the mall -- boxy talki 05:39 13 January 2008 (BST)

October 7, 2007 Mall currently unpowered thanks in large part to a GKer. I'm not sure if he hit all the Generators himself, but I did catch his ID; I think his name was Zeon67 [2] however I could be wrong. Either way, they're down. --Aleksander Templari 00:30, 8 October 2007 (BST)

October 3, 2007 No Zeds in the area, cept survivors who get PKed. There is a lot of PKing in the mall by the usual PKers (you know who you are). Other recent problems seems to be a handful of Newbs who keep killing the zeds at the Revive Point at Walrond (Big No No). These people are to scared to face the zed hoards in the surrounding suburbs, so they continue to pick up honest survivors just needing a revive. Anyone now caught killing honest peeps at Walrond gets killed on sight. Finally there is some retard who keeps running around changing all the radio's in the mall and surrounding buildings to random freqs. Everyone is asked to keep an eye on their radio and keep it set to the mall freq of 26.70. --DoctorRevive 15:39, 3 October 2007 (CST)

  • August 28th, 2007 - Help is needed in the RTMT .. A small group has already managed to retake all 4 corners of Tynte Mall and get a gen w/fuel up and running.. Send immediate back up so we can hold this thing!!!! Barfspamlives 28 August 2007 19:11 (UTC)
To the lazy survivors of Giddings, thanks for your help, the RTMT was able to retake Tynte mall and you guys just sit here while we die trying to hold on. We're only 16 AP away you you still can't help. Whatever happened to survivors helping survivors?

August 10, 2007 Zskrobot [3] has destroyed all the generators, overall, zombie spys are griefing the mall. An attack is highly probable especially with the fort still infested with zeds.

July 26, 2007 Metal Fox launched an attack on the zeds outside of the mall, taking down half a dozen or so zeds with our small group who were operating at the time. Reports show there are 38 zeds at the SW corner and 14 zeds at The Morrish Building.I died in the attempt to gain info and attack the zeds. Im the lone zed at Byre Auto repair if anyone wants to revive me.

July 20, 2007
20:05 (-5 GMT) And another Sitrep, there are currently 2 zeds in sw corner, no cades, I closed the doors and dumped one body outside and fierd of two shoots at one zed, no more ap for now.

July 19, 2007
As the update says we've got about 50 survivors in the mall, all cades are at least Heavily Barricaded, but somehow a few zeds keep sneaking through the cracks, they are being taken of quickly, but REMEMBER TO DUMP THE BODIES OUTSIDE! It does no good to kill a zed if you don't dump the body... The Mall needs Generators, Fuel, and Radio Transmitters... Morrish is held by 5 survivors at Heavily Barricaded but also needs genny, fuel, and transmitter. Bromely and Byrne are at VSB with a few survivors in each. 80+ Zeds at Walrond, most are our Giddings peeps, but there are a good bunch of rotters, and PKers in there as well, so make sure you scan and check the profile before you revive. ANYONE WHO CAN REVIVE GET LOADED UP AND GET TO WALROND! We need to get our numbers back. --DoctorRevive 12:28, 19 July 2007 (EST)|

July 18, 2007
The Mall has been re-taken!!! There are NO zeds inside and all 4 corners of the mall are at HB or higher! There are currently only 2 survivors in the mall, we need everyone to return to the mall. The mall also needs Generators, Fuel, and Radio's in all four corners! If everyone can get back to the mall ASAP we can take back Morrish and the rest of the surrounding buildings! Bromely is at HB new but you can get back into the mall using Morrish, or Byrne! - DoctorRevive 13:01, 18 July 2007 (CST)

We should retake Morrish as a matter of urgency.. there are 75+ waiting nearby on revives. Reviving them will take days but its a guaranteed source of reinforcements. Beebles 21:38, 18 July 2007 (BST)

Morrish building has been recaptured by a few CDF members. Please come and provide man power. In other news there is still very few survivors in the suburb, though there are a few small pockets of survivor resistance in the south. Please start to come back to the suburb. Also, added the necrotechs so we could be like the other malls. Feel free to edit it. - Carl Wolfhiem 04:05, 18 July 2007 (BST)

Was just in Morrish 7:50am CST and there were only 10 zeds in it, not sure what you are talking about. The only secure building is Bromely with about 5 Survivors in it, its currently at EHB. Just took a run through the mall and there are only 7, that's right 7 Zeds in the mall, i think its about time we retake our mall? What do you all think? - DoctorRevive 07:55, 18 July 2007 CST)
Just ran through the surrounding area today, just 2 z's inside the mall but only around 20 survivors in the area, mostly injured. If we prioritise taking back the NT's and reviving the 75+ mrhcows at walrond square we should have enough people to hold the mall. Beebles 17:57, 18 July 2007 (BST)

July 16, 2007
Only 27 z's left inside. Should be well within the grasp of a small/medium size determined group to reclaim and start rebuilding. Beebles 21:15, 16 July 2007 (BST)

Simon Hollows 20:32, 12 July 2007 (BST) I don't know if anyone's noticed, but there are literally HUNDREDS of survivors all over the place...even in no-count buildings, there seem to be tons of them...I think that counts as "reinforcements", especially considering that altogether, they outnumber the zombies.

July 12, 2007
Giddings Siege Update: The northern half of the mall is CRAWLING with zeds, i counted nearly 200 of them. Most the survivors are AFK though. Giddings is lost, i recommend retreating of anyone with less than 50 AP and coming back afterwards. --Malicry 03:34, 12 July 2007 (BST)

Hehe, LUE your work pleases me so. XD, Northern half has 90 in each corner. Only a few in the south though. You seige surprised even me, who checked this piece every hour on the hour from work. - Carl Wolfhiem 04:15, 12 July 2007 (BST)
Thanks for the free food, LUE! Animi 05:41, 12 July 2007 (BST)
South East Corner is crumbling. Less than 20 survivors occupying the space. Much of the AP there is spent barricading, it's impossible to repel 10+ zombies inside without support. A few combat revives happening, however I'm sure much of the defenders inside are running close to empty. 0 Zombies inside SW, they're holding up fairly well. Shame so many mall rats fled the scene, we could have used their help. Luxembourg 22:47, 12 July 2007 (BST)
They best hurry their little survivor butts to the mall, then. Down to ~30 in both Southern quads. --John D Freeman 21:01, 12 July 2007 (BST)

SE and SW Quads have both fallen. The Mall now belongs to LUE after only 22 hours. --John D Freeman 23:35, 12 July 2007 (BST)

July 11th, 2007

Actually, you were right. We did come. LUE ransacked the NE quadrant of the Mall in roughly 16 minutes, and then began a wholesale slaughter in the NW quadrant. At the time of this writing, humans are dying messily. --Vito Mortis 00:22, 11 July 2007 (GMT)

Woops, there went the NW ... --Vito 00:44, 11 July 2007 (GMT)

Alright, Alright. You've all heard it. LUE are coming (maybe, randomness is their specialty) but everyone needs to calm down and stop acting so cowardly. You say Giddings has no chance against them, even if you have seen their work first hand, do not run away. Running to another suburb will not solve the problem. They will just go on destroying and you will keep running. You can't just flee every time something gets a little hairy. Please, lets not let this turn out like the last Mall Tour Siege. Give LUE a good fight. - Carl Wolfhiem 09:11, 11 July 2007 (BST)

Amen to that. I suggest abandoning the fort and holing up at Giddings. Only have about 60 survivors at NW corner. Strongly advise survivors not to flee once the siege begins. Instead, stand your ground and die like a man. Do we have a dedicated rez team on standby? Perhaps we'd better request the aid of other survivor groups. --Raja Ram 11:18, 11 July 2007 (BST)

July 5, 2007 I, Lud Lum, have realised the error of my ways, and promise not to kill anymore survivors if I am revived. Please show pitty on an old PKing fool, and together we can vanquish the zombies from Malton. EDIT - After posting this Lud Lum has taken the lives of almost 10 survivors in the couple times people have revived her giving her a second chance... She has not changed KILL HER ON SIGHT!!!

July 3, 2007 Lud Lum, MisterHat, Mr Socio, and Shammie have been going on constant PKing spree's everytime some idiot revives them, The Creedy Folk have taken the fort, but are now under constant attack (go figure) so now they constantly whine about needing constant help, and now the whole mall and surrounding area is covered with graffiti saying to join the Umbrella Corp, oh, and they constantly spam the airways as well... They need to calm down and go back to touching themselves while looking at photo's of Milla Jovovich and leave us all in peace...

June 12, 2007 What does Lud Lum and cockroaches have in common? Well you don't want either of them around, but no matter what you do , you can never get rid of them... Lud Lum has been going on constant Pkilling spree's every time some newb revives her, and is becoming quite annoying as of late. Anyone seeing Lud Lum as a human, kill on sight, anyone seeing Lud Lum as a Zed, Kill on sight DO NOT REVIVE HER!!!

June 5, 2007 So Between the CDF whining about helping retake the fort, the CDF and CGR ranting back and forth over the radio like a bunch of retarded 11 year old girls, the massive swarms of Pking and GKing, the over barricading of the entry points, and every moron and their brother killing zeds at the revive point, Giddings continues to be a constant source of entertainment and quite a specticle of the degradation of society as a whole. I never realized that so many parents dropped their kids on their heads these days!

May 24, 2007 So all you folks up at Giddings, all 500 hundred of you I'm sure, are just gonna sit on yer duffs all day while the SW side of community is in trouble, yeh? You don't even have to go to the fort, we need help holding Farmer and Benedicts because the folk going to the fort ain't coming back (Alive). Carl Wolfhiem 05:39, 25 May 2007 (BST)

May 15 If you got another place to go, I'd go there. Giddings is pretty twisted right now. Lots of PKER's and GKER's plus the CGR and CDF having one of those filthy propaganda wars against each other over the radio. It's pretty faggy.

April 21: Although Giddings is relatively safe from zeds, PKing continues to be a thorn in survivors' sides. I have had personal run-ins with Zoutroi, Zebranunpuncher, Pvt Mankoff, and Poptop. Be wary and try not to stay in giddings when you're done for the day. -Kevinsevn

April 19: Some genius overbarricaded the entry . . . I've gotten killed twice now trying to find a way in. -Thoth II

April 12: Giddings is still a good place to be for now. There is a chance of a rematch with the Mall Tour, and there have been sightings of Ridleybank Resistance Front- Gore Corps around the area. Pkers are being taken care of as is the revive point. For now, zombies beware. -Andrew Tsai

April 4: Poptop killed at least two survivors in here before he killed me. Watch out for this PKer, KILL ON SIGHT. He's armed and dangerous. -Rex Harrison

April 2 Everything seems to be just fine here in Giddings. From recent scouting, there seems to be few or no zombie presence around Giddings at the moment. All is safe and the NT building is operational. ___ Alrite i don't mean to be rude but what are you all doing at the mall that's so important were getting our asses handed to us over at creedy were barely holding out there's over 50 zeds outside our gatehouse 50 outside our armory and were losing 5-10 people a day in the gatehouse alone we need faks and people with guns over here. Were getting pretty desperate for assistance. March 21: Requesting reinforcements to repel the forces of The Mall Tour 07 from Hildebrand Mall. Zombie numbers are estimated to be 350+. Please assist. --- Malton Defense Corporation

March 15 Rejoice and be merry! Giddings has recovered somewhat from the mall tour siege less than two weeks ago. As is noted, all corners are powered and even pking isn't really an issue right now. There is no major zombie presence around the mall so soon we will be downgrading Giddings to "safe" -Officer Kain

March 6:

Disregard the advisory of going to mitchem mall, it is full of morons who seem not to understand to revive zombies at revive points, the horde will be here soon enough. --Ninja13 3:43, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

March 5:

The fall of Giddings mall.

Today the survivor bastion of Giddings mall stands empty of harman life. Barhah! can be heard echoing through the ransacked shops. Zambahs chew on the tattered remains of their headshotting tormenters. Survivor panic, flight and failure to cooperate effectively doomed the valiant defenders of Giddings. --Electrasol 22:55, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Update III No one is left in the mall... Zombie count is - 44 NW, 26 NE, 49 SW, 121 SE.
Update II: The Mall is completely in zombie hands, due largely to the apathy of those in the bottom right corner. The interior is being ransacked, and over 200 zombies are hard at work on it. Humans have fled the mall to neighboring buildings, and attacks by desperate lone survivors against the horde are expected for the next 12 hours or so. --Tokosan 20:49, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
Update: Fall Back to Mitchem mall for a final stand, Giddings has been taken, around 100 zeds inside, two corners emptied. Nodbody seems to get the idea of spreading out. Most people sat on thier Butts in the south corners doing nothing! Let this be a lesson.
A dozen or so survivors are left in the NW corner against nearly 50 zeds, while hundreds of survivors sit in the other corners totally oblivious to the impending doom.
NW and NE corners overrun. SE corner has 3 zeds, but SW corner is falling. Revives are slowed and many survivors are fleeing or ...dieing. Morrish building is still secure.Carl Wolfhiem
Update: The battle for the Northwest corner of Giddings mall continues. 18 hours of near-continuous breakins has led to 137 confirmed kill zombies and untold numbers of fallen defenders. There are 268 Zeds outside the NW corner of the mall, and a total of 10 Zeds outside the other three corners. PK'ers have reared their ugly heads again, assassinating several prominent medics and spraypainting target lists for their zombie friends. Over the past 18 hours, the barricades have been torn down at least 60 times, being frantically rebuilt every time, and despite groups of over 30 zeds getting inside at once somehow the Mall still stands. Sadly, this reporter is now reduced to sending in dispatches from face-down in the gutter outside, next to 237 other dead bodies. Further news from inside the Mall will have to come from other sources.Geerts 12:59, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Zombies outnumber survivors in the NW during some of these break-ins. The mall is teetering on the brink of the abyss. Those who wish to avoid being eaten by Zombies would be well advised to spend precious AP fleeing rather than squirming in the grip of the undead.
Revive lines grow longer as prospective revivers are trapped outside by overbarricading. It seems like every building within ten blocks of a zombie is is at EHB, making revived and reviver alike unable to join in the defense. Then again, the NW corner is at VSB or lower 55% of the time. The other 45% is when there are no cades. --RevEngEspc 01:35, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Seconded, the lack of entry points is hindering efficient revives. Please take action now, by bringing down them down and post graffiti in entry points making sure people know to keep the cades at VS+2--BeavisSaves 02:47, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Or, depending on which side of the nuetral POV (which this article supposedly maintains) you fall on, you can keep up the hard work, and over-barricade the hell out of those poor bastards, and post all sorts of misleading graffiti saying things like "entry point 2 blocks north, keep this EHB " and then go 2 blocks north and spray "entry point to blocks south, keep this EHB". --S.Wiers X:00x-mas tree dead pool 03:33, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

March 4, 2007:

Things aren't looking good.. The NW corner has but only two dozen survivors still there, and 42 zeds inside. The other corners still have large numbers of survivors, but none are brave enough to venture into the NW corner and clear it out. Unless there is a major counterattack NOW, Giddings will fall in record time. The continuing influx of zombies and zed spies (look for Mall Tour '07 in their group affiliation) is becoming too much to handle.
Update: The counterattack is underway, and zombie numbers are now in the mid 20's. More survivors need to shift from the surrounding squares and reinforce the NW corner.

Giddings is experiencing several large and frequent break-ins, and currently nearly 30 zombies are in the NW corner. People in the NW corner should be using their AP to barricade and kill zombies instead of having stupid conversations.

The barricades in the North-west corner are down, and the zombies of Mall tour 07 have begun to pour in.(EDIT: Never mind, they got the barricades back up again) -mycoplasma 16:33, 4 March 2007 (EST)

Fierce figting continues, with break-ins of around 20 at a time continuing. How many survivors will flee for their brains and how many will continue to bravely struggle? What antics does the ULC have in store? Who will wake up after having been ripped limb from limb by the ravenous horde?

Let the those who have not the strength run and let the strong fight for the Mall tour's reign of terror will end here. The might of humanity is strong and will not be so easily dampened. WE can win, we have the will, we have the strength, we have the coordination. Glorious victory to humanity! --Sacrenough 00:53, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

March 3, 2007:

Giddings is holding quite well, and though there are frequent break-ins, they are quickly quashed and barricades replaced rapidly. If the Giddings survivors can keep this up, Mall Tour will have a very difficult fight on their hands.

The Pimp Legion of Doom is on its way to assist in the defence of this mall. It is adviced by this organization to stay indoors at all times (whcich increases zombie repletion factor and:

  • Revive fallen comrads. (not those who are actively trying to eat your brains)ASAP
  • heal the wounded.
  • barciade baricade baricade.
  • Only go on an attack with a coordinated squad of 6+ devote squad members at a designated time only known by the members of your specific strike force.--Sacrenough 20:55, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

March 2, 2007:

At least a dozen Zombies have broken into the mall and are battling furiously with around seventy survivors in the NW corner, all of Malton watches to see if the survivors will battle on bravely facing the threat of slaughter in their sleep when the barricades fail or if they will panic and flee for their lives. The wailing of the undead, and the rythmic pounding of claws on the 'cades will go on through the night.--Electrasol 03:26, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Nearly 200 zeds outside Giddings Mall.
By midnight the streets surrounding the fortress are swamped in the horde ripping at the cades, a very different scene from not a week ago when there were no zombies in sight from the top of the morrish building. Lets hope giddings will fight like it did under cowboy up before the PK wars. Unless you all have already forgotten what the CDF did for pitneybank...--Ninja13 11:45, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

February 24, 2007:

The Mall Tour's swath of destruction continues to come closer and closer. Giddings mall is a big target on their list, it was a hard nut to crack last year. It, (hopefully), will be again. Survivors are being urged to gather up Genneys and other scroungeables in preperation. On a side note, the mall seems fairly undermaned with less than 100 survivors across the pair of corners I sampled. Redwave 22:01, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

January 15, 2007:

All corners are dark, break-ins are becoming more deadly. Multiple PK deaths in the bottom left corner over the night as well. Survivors are asked to bring guns and tread carefully. Redwave 11:57, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

January 14, 2007:

The N/W, S/W, N/E, corners of Giddings and the Morrish Building are all lit. The Zombie threat in the area is slowly diminishing. Redwave 17:37, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Update: Only one corner currently lit, the Morrish building on the verge of falling again. Multiple combat revived rotters have been roming the mall GKing and PKing at random. Redwave 03:21, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

January 13, 2007:

The survivors are holding with astouding determination. The top right corner of the Mall is lit, as well as Bromley Auto repair and the Morrish building. Though barricade attrition is becoming noticable, survivor numbers are by no means diminished. Redwave 16:45, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Update: The latest headcount has revealed that the survivors in the Lower Left Corner of the mall are outnumbered by more than 4:1 by the horde outside. Despite the staggering amount of corpses trying to get in, not a single one has been inside for several hours. This is a significant drop from yesterday. Redwave 17:48, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

January 12

Giddings is in human hands, but the population is low.
Update: The South West corner of the mall is seeing the heaviest fighting. Multiple break ins daily, though no more than 5 Zeds at a time. With over 60 Zombies outside that corner, and less than half that number of survivors on the other side of the barricades it seems the fate of Giddings will be decided here. Redwave 20:32, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Recently, I went to Giddings Mall, and decided to help. Anybody who wants to help is to meet at the Marshment Police Dept. And do not kill Shadowater - Even though he is a member of the Feral Undead, well, I am Shadowater! Each of the 4 corners of the mall now holds less than 10 zeds. I've been "human spying" in my zed form, attacking zeds in an effort to clean up. Colonel Al 17:47, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

January 2, 2007:

Magnificent desolation. The apocalypse has truly visited Pitneybank. For the first time in weeks, silence has fallen over the mall. Nothing is left, save shambling corpses and burnt rubble. We have fallen far and fast. Redwave 16:43, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Buildings in the vicinity have also been severely hit with most now ransacked and containing several zombie's inside. DarkUnderlord 08:34, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

January 1, 2007

The mall is now in the hands of the Big Bash, with 32 inside and 31 outside, and no sign of any survivor activity in the mall. The few remaining safehouses in the area are under heavy seige.

December 31, 2006

The North-East section has been breached! The tricksy harmanz are cowering in the other parts to avoid being dragged out, but it looks as though the New Year's Party has been cancelled. For the survivors, anyway.

December 30

Currently over 50 zombies outside the mall, 40 of them concentrated in the NE corner. The survivors are managing to hold them out for now.

December 26

Report on zombies inside and outside the mall:
NW - 2 inside, 1 outside
NE - 4 inside, 42 outside
SW - 13 inside, 3 outside
SE - 2 inside, 4 outside
The NW, SW and SE corners are all heavily barricaded, but the whole building is ransacked. The Morrish Building is under survivor control. Tugbottom 23:26, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

December 20

Giddings has been officially fallen but is not yet. 475 Zombies within the mall, other zombies are beginning to target outlying resource buildings.

December 18

Only a handful of survivors left in the mall and they will be dead in short order, Giddings has fallen.--Pieeater 05:46, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

The zombies are in! With 133 in the NE corner (ransacked) and about 45 in the NW (also ransacked) with only about 390 people left in the mall. Get in here fellow zombies, the end is nigh!--Mayor Fitting 00:32, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

December 15

With a siege going on a nothing else to do the ULC has arrived bringing with it vast amounts of alcohol and their own personal bar. Rumour is that Shacknews is on its way, for one final mall before a mass exodus from Malton. A number of zombies have gathered to the south of the mall... could this be the beginning of the end for Giddings? Crummy 06:43, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

December 4

Red Rum just rocked the house! I myself scored the first kill and as I write this the body count is still going up and it's at 43! I will be sure to update with the final kill count later! Thanks for the fun giddings!--Mayor Fitting 23:42, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Injured parties and medics should report to Sage Railway station east of the SE corner for triage. There are too many people in the mall right now to efficiently heal. Colonel Al 23:45, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Kill count settled at 53. All this in the span of less than 30 minutes. - Cypher Zero 00:59, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

December 3

There was a minor break-in at the northeast corner sometime today, about 2 casualties on each side. We also have steady PKing going on without explanation--if you're hunting down a PKer, for goodness sake announce it, or you'll be killed yourself!--Robert G Shaw 22:25, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Yea, and another note... if you are part of the anti-PK alliance, please dump the bodies of the PKers you kill off. Colonel Al 23:36, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

October 31th, 2006 *KNOCK KNOCK*

October 25th, 2006 Giddings Mall remains Z-free, but can reasonably be expected to soon be completely empty, as 25% of its population seems intent on killing another 25% for various lengthily explained and entirely sensible reasons, and 99% of the remainder will probably be going ANYWHERE else in the near future to avoid listening to the enthusiastic and interminable radio-broadcast 9/11-conspiracy theories of the remaining 1%.

October 17th, 2006 Please shut up and post comments on the Talk:Giddings Mall page. This page is not for back and fourth conversation. --DJSMITHCDF 15:43, 17 October 2006 (BST) In other news, PKing and GKing is still rampant in the Mall.

October 15th, 2006 Giddings is so zombie free no one can remember what zombies look like -Pieeater 05:36, 16 October 2006 (BST)

October 10th, 2006 BSKRobot is Dead AGAIN! The GenKillers and PKers are sucking up your attention until the Zeds arrive. YOU HAVE OVER 300 PEOPLE IN GIDDINGS! I Can NOT afford all the ammo I will need since it is FREE! The Scorpion Group will do this for you! -NeilTheScorpion 20:35, 10 October 2006 (BST)

October 8th, 2006 And I'm Dead AGAIN! Waiting for a revive, but I'm still going to preach....The GenKillers and PKers are going to suck up our attention until the Zeds arrive. I shot and dumped ScorpionXL today, so I may have saved a few generators and transmitters. However, Lud Lum killed me and threw me out. WE HAVE OVER 300 PEOPLE IN GIDDINGS! Can we NOT afford to put together a group to sweep the surrounding buildings and eliminate GKers? The Possum Posse will do this for you!-Bskrobot 05:17, 9 October 2006 (BST)

October 7th, 2006 Someone is overbarricading the entry buildings into the mall again. I've just been revived, and there is a large number of people outside who can't enter...I had to bring the barricades on Bromley down to VS++ to get in. Then I get into the mall and the first thing I see is that a radio and generator have been smashed. Anyone ready to join the Possum Posse yet and kill some Scorpions? ScorpionXL is the one who shot me and dumped me outside.-Bskrobot 14:52, 7 October 2006 (BST)

  • It is not mez. I has beens eating one survivors a days though for the past two weeks. Killings ones is a fair trade for a headshot. Night of the Me thanks whoevers is overbarricadings. Itchy. Itchy. Tasty. Tasty. -Night of the Me 12:40, 7 October 2006 (CST)
  • Just do me a favor, Night...if you find any Scorpion Group members outside the mall, EAT THEM! What has it gots in its bellyzez.....Gollum! Gollum!-Bskrobot 19:34, 7 October 2006 (BST)
  • Yup, NeilTheScorpion killed me again. Is anyone noticing a pattern that I'm speaking out against the GKers, and that everyone who kills me has the word Scorpion in his/her name? WAKE UP, FOLKS! KILL these bastards or they ARE going to continue smashing your stuff! STOP THEM!

-Bskrobot 03:47, 8 October 2006 (BST)

  • October 2th, 2006 The Zeds WILL come, and the GKers and Zed spies will come before them. We need to keep them out. Join the Possum Posse and we WILL keep them out! -Bskrobot 05:15, 3 October 2006 (BST)
  • I warned you they'd be back. I've been saying it for days. Now for God's sake, if you find members of the Scorpion Group dead, LEAVE THEM THAT WAY!-Bskrobot 19:09, 5 October 2006 (BST)

September 29th, 2006 I'm trying to establish a new group that will keep GKers out of human-occupied malls. Zed spies and GKers always move into the malls before the Zed horde comes, and Generator Killers are always present during these times. Join our ranks, and we will patrol the buildings around select malls to keep the GK groups out. We ask no compensation other than recognition of our services. We will serve whatever local government administrates the malls we serve. Join the POSSUM POSSE and do something worthwhile...keep the vermin out of the major strongholds of Human society. -Bskrobot 04:30, 30 September 2006 (BST)

September 26th, 2006 I likes this mall. There is always people in the streets to jump up & surprise. I will stick around me thinks. Itchy. Itchy. Tasty. Tasty. --Night of the Me

Spetember 6th, 2006 I've been in Pitneybank (and, specifically the Giddings Mall area). Despite rumors that the Horde is coming, it has been quiet. There is, if anything, an overpopulation of humans here (if we had had 25% of the people here at Joachim, we could have easily held the mall). Revives are quick, and there isn't much to do, so I'm going to round some people up and head back to Penny Heights and try to take Joachim Mall again. asheets

August 4th, 2006 The Zombie presence outside the Morrish Building is now almost nonexistent, although there are approximately 230 idile corpses still lying on the ground.

August 3rd, 2006 Zed counts outside the Morrish Building are dropping, estimated at 125.

July 31st, 2006 After a week in Pitneybank, the Big Bash has found too few brains and too many bots to enjoy themselves any longer. The tide of zombies washed up against Morrish Necrotech, where barricades were observed to go from none to maximum within seconds, an impossible feat. This could only end up being extremely frustrating for the Bash zombies, who’ve had tons of fun playing with survivors who defended their malls within the spirit and rules of the game (their brainz were delicious). Malton’s uber-horde is hitting the road again. Predicted destination: adventure. Survivors are advised to either undertake evasive maneuvers, or join the party.

July 30th, 2006 The situation at Giddings Mall is looking grim. 260 zombies are currently outside the Morrish Building, the main Necrotech building in the Giddings Area.

July 25th 2006 The vanguard of the Big Bash shambled over the border from Peppardville on the night of the 24th, softening up key targets. The sun rose on a suburb embroiled in fierce battle. Many resource buildings have been overrun. The humans who survived have begun a fighting retreat towards Giddings Mall, which is completely enveloped by the zombie advance.

July 21th, 2006 - No zombies are within a block of Giddings, only 2 or so break ins over the last few days. As far as I could tell, there never even was a siege.

July 17th, 2006 - Giddings Mall under attack by Zambah Horde, apparently. Too bad I'm not there to join the eating.

June 16th, 2006 - Giddings Mall is becoming a deathtrap, PKers are running rampant

June 9th, 2006 - Participating Necronauts leave Pitneybank on their prolonged pub crawl. Good luck to all the Giddings Mall survivors- We, who are about to stagger drunkenly, salute you! We shall return.

June 5th, 2006 - TSO have moved away from the Mall primarily. The siege, a heavily survivor weighted siege is a victory. Congratulations go out to CMS-Meta, the ACC, the CDF, the SAS, and many, many other survivor groups who responded to calls for aid. Comiserations go out to TSO, who fought valiently despite overwhelming odds. Survivors must now rebuild their beloved mall and clear the bodies.

Body count for the siege totals at about 800 throughout the whole siege (which lasted almost a month - one of the longer sieges in UD history), zombies death amount to maybe 1200, though neither of these figures are accurate.

May 26st, 2006 - Spirits (alcohol) still high inside the mall. Despite all orders people still make runs outside and get themselves killed, making more work for the NTs. There have been a few major breakins and battles in the NE corner which is taking the full force of assault but the mall still stands. The siege is TSO led and some say the Undying Scourge is there too, but no proof yet. The Morrish Building is contested right now, with just a few people as permanent residents to keep the cades up, while NTs make runs, but sleep in the mall. The zombie breakins are uncoordinated, and they know this, so instead of trying to keep the doors open for more zombies, they go for the generators and tear up sleeping survivors. Cowboy Up is with the soldiers that are holding the NE corner, and help keep morale up, but the fact that it's the 19th or 20th day of the siege and the mall is held with minimal casualties. Cowboy Up said Damn right Ninja! Why is everyone so silent? This should be a goddamn party! Its the 19th straight day of this siege! PARTY IN THE HARDWARE STORE!!!

May 21st, 2006 - An alliance of major clans in the area has a firm grip on the mall, the ACC, CDF and SAS and others are all recognizing the imporantce of the mall and have come to aid. The CDFin particular has thrown themselves into the assaulting horde on the NE corner and have an effective shield of cades and each other. The ACC have taken command of the NW corner, and are organising effective revives and lending support to other corners when in need. There have been skirmishes and break-ins and the TSO has been very clever, but the survivor groups ability to overcome the longstanding inability to work together has been devastating. The horde of roughly 200 is very responsive and will attack swiftly and mercilessly before returning to the main horde at NE at any survivor who leaves the mall (happened to me on my way to check on Tynte Mall). The area has a thin glaze of zombies all around it which thin out across the border in Peppardville. Many NTs from the Morrish Building have started using regular FAKs since the zeds usually don't have the time to kill anyone. Greifers run free in the mall using zerging to escape capture, very low PK murder rate in the mall. Spirits are high, victory seems near

May 16 th, 2006 - Giddings has been under siege for almost a full week now, and has repelled all major break ins with little trouble. Morrish is buttoned up tight, after it first being the main target for this siege. Waldron Sq. is empty of all Revivee's and Rotters! Congrats to the NTs for keeping things under control. Survivors are dug in, and nothing but a coordinated attack or another horde will push them out.

May 6 th, 2006 - Watch out, watch out, PKers about.

May 5 th, 2006 - Giddings Mall is unsafe and so is the rest of Pitneybank. Many zombies left in the area excluding those Mrh-cows at Walrond Square. Several zombies at Walrond are Brain Rotters waiting for tasty bag manz. Harmanz in the area are encouraged to run away screaming.

April 15 th, 2006 - Giddings Mall is safe and so is the rest of Pitneybank. Very few zombies left in the area except those waiting for revives at Walrond Square. All zombies at Walrond are humans waiting to be revived. Humans in the area are encouraged to go to Fort Creedy and help out there.

April 3rd - The Mall is currently under attack by a relatively small horde of zombies. 17 have broken into the building as of this hour, two are outside, and adjacent buildings are under little to mild assault. A recent breach into the NT building two blocks north was successfully repelled.

February 11th - Rebuilding of the Mall was finally completed with shops and vendors restored. The Alliance of Giddings invites shoppers to check out the new low prices. Update: Picture was deleted off database, don't know who did it, sorry :( --DJSMITH*CDF 21:40, 17 May 2006 (BST)

January 25th - Giddings Mall is retaken after the departure of Mall Tour '06. The Mall is cleared of the remaining undead, and rebarricaded along with the surrounding buildings.

January 20th - Giddings Mall defense shattered as zombies launch MT'06 blitzkrieg on NW section. Within an hour of the breach, 100 zombies pour into mall. Having been repulsed by determined survivors for days, the survivor forces are battered and broken quickly. Those who did not flee during the Creedy Defense Force evacuation of the mall are summarily eaten by the ravenous zombie swarm.

January 19th - It is currently unknown what, if any, the new NecroTech functions will have on the Giddings Siege. Early speculations run the gamut of game-winning to worthless, more or less depending on if you're celebrating birthdays or your burial as a metric of time. However, as the current siege, this will be the first location to attempt to make some use of the new abilities. NecroTech technicians are encouraged to do so so that, in the unfortunate incident of the fall of Giddings, future sieges will benefit from their experiences.

Just an hour before several large breakins, the Creedy Defense Force called for an evacuation of its members and other allied groups.

January 18th - Survivors once again live through another restless night, punctuated with the groans of the undead. The hordes assaulting the mall now total well over 400 in number, but the Survivors continue to hold the Mall. As dawn breaks, however, break-ins are common, but too small to make any real difference. NT's constantly run revive runs - but many are reporting lower casualties than expected. Some survivors have been reported leaving the building - but several of these have been confirmed moving to other positions locally. More survivors have arrived recently - and it seems over the next few days the battle will continue to escalate further.

The final assault on Giddings Mall. Image credit to forum poster DangerMouse.

January 17th - Despite a growing horde now numbering over 300, and numerous small break-ins, Giddings Mall continues to hold its own.

January 15–16st - With over 240 zombies outside Giddings, Giddings is now 'Officially Besieged' by the Mall Tour '06 - The January Siege of Giddings Mall.

January 14st - The High Warlord of Mall Tour '06 announces Giddings Mall as the Tour's next target.

January 1st - The mall denizens ring in the new year with an impressive flare gun fireworks display.
