Zombies almost always check inside. Some are often used as literal fortresses, and are sometimes so heavily barricaded that it is impossible to enter without Free Running. Tagging a police station earns 2 XP. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Police Stations can be barricaded normally.

The Goodford Road Police Department [85,61] is a police department in the suburb of Vinetown. It is one of four police departments in the suburb.

Located in northeast Vinetown, with the Ling Boulevard Police Department to the southwest being the closest other PD. Also in the vicinity is Edgecombe's Tilly Row Police Department to the northwest.

Outdoors: You are standing outside Goodford Road Police Dept, a narrow yellow-stone building surrounded by lawns.

Indoors : A portable generator has been set up here. It is running, and powering a radio transmitter that's currently set to 26.27 MHz.

Currently a field base for both Outbreak Control Unit field teams who are providing barricades and electricity to the building, alongside other groups. Although they operate throughout the area the OCU members rarely sleep inside. --Rosslessness 21:39, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

The Outbreak Control Unit are often found inside as it is part of their Vinetown field base, their home away from home whilst in the area.

Members of the group M.E.R.C.Y. are often found inside and throughout the north of vinetown, providing support, revives and general help.

The Outbreak Control Unit maintain the barricades VS++ unless an emergency to comply with MPDG regulations.

November 10th, 2007: Reclaimed by the Outbreak Control Unit who have a squad of five men securing this one police station, it has a fuelled generator and is at EHB, due to zombies constantly attacking the barricades.

September 25th, 2007: Having recently retaken the building, we have been under sporadic attack, and are now attempting to locate a genny, as we are in desperate need of ammunitions to protect the vicinity. --Morgan Blair 12:57, 25 September 2007 (BST)

[edit] History and Significance

Goodford is the oldest police department in vinetown, and was built in the Italian style. A large limestone building, it bears many similarities to the cathedral it neighbours.

Post outbreak it is a popular place for survivors to gather, thanks to its high glass ceilings which let much light into the structure and allow illumination of a sort even without a generator.
