Zombies almost always check inside. Some are often used as literal fortresses, and are sometimes so heavily barricaded that it is impossible to enter without Free Running. Tagging a police station earns 2 XP. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Police Stations can be barricaded normally.

6/24/2009 You are inside Grandfield Row Police Dept. The building has been extremely heavily barricaded. Also here are theredshirt (60HP), Netherwarden (60HP), The Iron Knight (50HP), tabulcain (60HP), JoshuaAcquin (50HP), George Fredrich (60HP), USMC RED (60HP), Faithless1 (60HP), harima hario (40HP), Keldemon (50HP), penelope reed (50HP), Edward Saffyn (54HP) and Fauste (55HP).

A portable generator has been set up here. It is running, and powering a radio transmitter that's currently set to 26.45 MHz. The building has been decorated with a Greek tapestry, two mouldering tapestries, a French tapestry, a historical tapestry, an abstract painting, two mediaeval tapestries, two print of a tapestries, a stuffed bear, a dark tapestry and two faded tapestries.
