Early Grandon PD

Grandon Place Police Department is one of the older Police Departments of Malton, and the old bricks on the outside prove it. Claw marks are present on the outside at frequent intervals along the wall, left by various zombies. The front door is ornate and carved, preserved by conscientiousness survivors who hoped to preserve some of the cities culture.

Grandon Place Police Department was originally built in 1908 and refurbished in 1987 and has been in operation all those years. It was originally funded by John B. Grandon, and has since received funding from the City of Malton. During the 1980's and 1990's it was deemed that the police station should be refurbished and supported by another police station to deal with an increase in crime. However, the contractors involved had made equal offers and 2 more police stations were completed nearby, Swallow Lane Police Department and Spence Row Police Department. The ridiculous notion of having 3 police departments nearly next door to each other as going to be addressed, but the outbreak prevented a statement from being released.

Since The Outbreak...

The second you step into Grandon, whether it be from the roof or the front entrance, you are greeted by two men in immaculate, black suits, each of which are armed with an arsenal of firearms. After some friendly banter with them they allow you to pass. On entry to the building you find it hard not to spot the large flag of the rising sun that has been nailed to wall in the main room of the department.

The most sought after building by the livingly challenged, Grandon has seen more carnage than any other residence in Brooke Hills. A past base of operations for The Sun Organization, this was and still is a place for survivors where they're guaranteed safety should they choose to sleep over night in this building. Though non the less, sleeping in a resource building is never too smart.

This historical building used to be the main HQ of TSO, though after many debates, it was decided that due to the building the HQ of such a reputable group, it was targeted by Zombies far too frequently. In June, TSO declared that they would no longer have a main base of operations as wherever they went, they'd be targeted by the undead. Instead, they're now spread out over the four quadrants of Brooke Hills, not to mention Eastonwood, yet somehow they still manage to keep their previous residences barricaded, supplied with generators and open to all survivors.

Barricade Policy

This site is to be kept at Very Strongly Barricaded (VSB+2), in order to permit entry by rookies and those needing Free Running access.

Current Status

2013 June 4 - You are standing outside Grandon Place Police Dept, a four-storey red-brick building with a collapsed roof. The building has been heavily barricaded - you can see no way to enter. Somebody has spraypainted safe house onto a wall. " In that case,it should have barricades to very strongly tops." - you mutter to yourself as you move along scouting the area while there is rotten stench in the air. "It's closing in.I can feel it..." Concerned'Citizen 11:50, 4 June 2013 (BST)

Somebody has spraypainted safe house onto a wall. 2009 Aug 19 - Had been ruined for a few days; I just killed off the last zombies, repaired and cleaned, and got the 'cades up to QSB. The current spraypaint isn't correct: this is not an entry point (two PDs just to the north, Swallow Lane Police Department and Spence Row Police Department, are both supposed to be kept at VSB+2). --Lariat2301 05:12, 20 August 2009 (BST)

2009 Aug 31 - Ransacked again, still one zed inside. Cant find any survivors (and even not many zeds) around. Still anyone out here? --Deathmarine 11:06, 31 August 2009 (BST)

Undated - Recently, a group of undead known as the Grandon PD Noise Abatement Society has claimed the Grandon Police Department as the building they would like to inhabit, and have been fighting to have the PD in their control.
