Half of the TRPs in the suburb are ruined and occupied by zombies. 23 zombies in the streets. Ackland Mall is ruined and occupied by zombies. TRPs on the outskirts of the suburb (especially south of the mall) are barricaded and three are lit. Status remains dangerous. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 01:53, 22 September 2017 (UTC)

  • April 16th 2017

In a surprise ambush a zombie horde breached the NW corner of Ackland Mall and quickly disposed of the defenders in that corner. When one corner falls the others typically follow. The near future for the suburb is left in uncertainty.--Doctor Oberman MBEK 05:20, 16 April 2017 (UTC)

  • April 5th 2017

It is hard for survivors to believe a week ago the suburb was in total ruin and chaos. Almost the entire suburb has been restored and powered up. No active groups of zombies currently in Havercroft at this time. Mall looks secure but undermanned to fend off a coordinated effort. --Doctor Oberman MBEK 12:19, 5 April 2017 (UTC)

  • April 2nd 2017

Ackland Mall has been retaken and all 4 corners secured by a half dozen survivors. The Southern half of the suburb is in good condition and power is being restored slowly to the suburb. The horde has seemingly moved on for now.--Doctor Oberman MBEK 14:27, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

  • March 24th 2017

All resource buildings are now in ruins and have been for the past few days. Individual survivor efforts to retake buildings such as a factor and a club have been met with failure with the zombies retaking them again in less that 24 hours . A lone church is all that is standing at this moment. Survivor communication and coordination is poor, and confusion is often broadcast on the radio. --Doctor Oberman MBEK 12:24, 24 March 2017 (UTC)

  • March 16th 2017

The Situation is as dire as the suburb found itself in December and January. Auston Auto, Yapp PD, and Maria General Hospital are still standing and powered along with most of the fire stations but the rest of the resource hospital and PD buildings are ruined. Theres still nearly 50 zombies in the mall, 43 of which are concentrated in the SE corner. Radio chatter is accusing the horde of being a zerg collective. That has not been independently verified yet, but wouldn't be unlikely considering the last sacking was done by one (albeit a smaller horde) Either way the suburb is now Danger Red and bloodly as survivors still in the area try to hold in pockets of resistance.--Doctor Oberman MBEK 12:41, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

  • March 13th 2017

Ackland Mall has been sacked by 50+ zombies standing in it, although estimates are hard to make at this time considering some zombies standing may be aftermath casualties and not the initial horde. Spurdell Walk PD is also ruined. The 4 Hospitals are intact. Auson Auto is still standing. Handful of other non resource buildings also ruined. Survivors have scattered and fled the area mostly by now. No counter attack can be mounted at this time. The Zombies once again find the mall a juicy target for destruction. --Doctor Oberman MBEK 12:20, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

  • March 10th 2017

Zombie activity has increased in the area. 3 Buildings directly next to the mall are currently in ruins with 9 zombies covering them. Carle Police Dept, just north of the suburb also in ruins with 14+ zombies in side. The Mall is in no immediate threat but could very well be once again in the near future. --Doctor Oberman MBEK 13:30, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

  • February 24th 2017

Saboteurs have been routinely hitting the mall destroying generators and over barricading entry points around it. There's also been a lot of reports of a group zerging in the area but other than that revive points are empty and supplies are abundant in the community thanks to the strength in numbers and suburb attractiveness Havercroft has traditionally enjoyed.--Doctor Oberman MBEK 15:27, 24 February 2017 (UTC)

  • February 13th 2017

The suburb appears to be in good condition. Lights are on in 2/3rd of buildings and no active break ins have been reported at the mall. A Good place to be right now if you need protection or an active community. --Doctor Oberman MBEK 18:25, 13 February 2017 (UTC)

  • January 27th 2017

Ackland Mall has been retaken at last. Although the Mall is far from stable, as of today all four corners are barricared and powered with 10-12 zombies standing on the South East quadrant outside. Some minor non resource buildings continue to remain in ruins as the limited number of survivors concentrate efforts into protecting the mall and other key suburb buildings. --Doctor Oberman MBEK 13:15, 27 January 2017 (UTC)

  • January 7th 2017

Necrotech Field Scientists have DNA extracted the zombie horde that remains dormant In the mall and have determined it to be a zerg horde created between 4/26/2016-5/03/2016. Outside the MAll most of the buildings continue to remain in ruins and few resource buildings remain powered. It will take serious survivor coordination or a larger presence to push out the zerg horde that camps in the mall.--Doctor Oberman MBEK 21:23, 7 January 2017 (UTC)

2016

  • December 14th

The Suburb has been hit very hard. Almost the entire suburb is in ruins, including the mall. The Resource buildings if standing at all are all without power. One survivor did manage to radio to any and all survivor pockets there are 100 zombies were counted in the Area. Winter has hit Havercrofts population hard with no forseeable end in sight to the scorched earth policy the zombies have left in their wake here.--Doctor Oberman MBEK 21:09, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

  • December 1st 2016

Ackland Mall fell early in the day to 40+ zombies that swept the mall and cleaned it out in a coordinated attack. The graffiti proclaiming the mall invincible was defiled. Spurdell PD fell hours after the Mall. The hospitals are all still in operation but at least one is unpowered. Auston Auto is also still up and running but a likely next target for destruction as its the main fuel supply to the mall and local resource buildings.--Doctor Oberman MBEK 01:11, 2 December 2016 (UTC)

  • November 26th

After a month of relative "peace" in the suburb, a small horde has returned, seemingly provoked by lonewolf graffiti that Ackland is "invincible" and seeing that as a challenge to crush the hopes and dreams of the Havecroft population. The SE barricades have been taken a pounding but no major developments yet as of this moment.--Doctor Oberman MBEK 03:45, 27 November 2016 (UTC)

  • October 26th

Ackland Mall has been retaken along with the majority of resource buildings including Auston Auto Repair. The Mall is unpowered but Barricade strength is around 80-90%. Around the mall the suburb is slowly rebuilding but many buildings are still without power. Havercroft Suburb will be downgraded from Red to yellow, skipping orange unless the horde returns.--Doctor Oberman MBEK 20:35, 26 October 2016 (UTC)

  • October 15

The situation is continuing to worsen by the day as all Havercroft Police Stations are knocked out and all but one Hospital is also knocked out. One survivor reported to me 42 zombies in the suburb and most of the buildings now in ruins. Survivors are very disorganized and not holding ground on very many fronts. The Revive points have less than 10 at all times so people are either abandoning the suburb or gone to other revive points.--Doctor Oberman MBEK 20:18, 15 October 2016 (UTC)

  • October 10

The suburb is mostly in ruins. A small but organized horde has sacked the mall twice and eliminated the survivor population in the south western half of the suburb, the mall is also ruined. The police Station is in tact for now. Survivors are encouraged to hold there and restock ammunition to begin reclearing the mall and resource buildings. --Doctor Oberman MBEK 20:42, 8 October 2016 (UTC)

Ackland Mall is dead. Zombies in and around mall number fall over 50, if they converge the suburb will deserve a "dangerous" rating, in the mean time most zombie activity is centered around the Ackland mall war zone and borders; it's likely to fan-out from there. -Lord Hawthorne 23:06, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Very few zombies outside. (Like 5 in all the (resource heavy)squares I saw.)I saw no ruined buildings. Most buildings lit, especially near the mall.--Ryvyoli Y R 22:41, 12 April 2009 (BST)

HOWEVER The 30 zombies and 20 corpses outside Martha General Hospital [33, 41] is a bit of a worry. Members of 404: Barhah not found have been holding the building for the last 5 days. Come have a look if you're bored. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 13:19, 13 April 2009 (BST)

April 07th

The SE corner of Ackland is still under attack by zombies apparently miffed at the preference given by the Goth Store's clients to vampires over brain-eaters. However, the vigilance of 404: Barhah not found, AMS and others is denying the 30-odd zombies outside a chance to sport sexy boustiers and hot (literally!) studded leather pants.

Meanwhile, doctors in Ephram General are reporting a local scarcity of anti-zombie prophylaxes, thus resulting in uncontrolled undead breakouts -- or, rather, break-ins...

The rest of the suburb, however, remains calm with barricades and power and little to interrupt the existential monotony of life, death and rebirth in Malton. Weather report at 10:45. --WanYao 16:37, 7 April 2009 (BST)

Havercroft has numerous lit and heavily barricaded buildings, no doubt thanks to the snowball effect. The repair activity has attracted the attention of the Militant Order of Barhah. Advance teams from that horde have already hit a few buildings in the eastern side of the suburb. Heavy casualties have been sustained by those stationed at Moseley Plaza Police Department and Maria General Hospital. Those structures looked ruined from the outside at this time, and it can be safely assumed that there are no survivors there now. --FLZombie 02:45, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Havercroft is in the process of recovering. Ackland Mall is no longer operating there are around 40 zeds in side feasting on the last few brave survivors. Though there are several buildings surrounding it up an running. Local resource buildings are in the process of being reclaimed. The ZAF is currently held up in the Sands Building contributing to the fight for Havorcroft. Still dangerous but more then survivable. Havercroft is in utter disrepair. Despite mainly ferals occupying the mall and surrounding area, survivors are constantly repelled and can not gain a foothold. This is the longest Ackland has been down since the Dead attacked, and unless some coordination happens on survivors' part, the suburb could remain a dead zone for a very long time. --Russell Oakley 21:49, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

At least 53 zombies on the streets, and 42 of those are besieging the northwest corner of Ackland Mall, which is fully powered. All of the suburb's remaining 12 Tactical Resource Points are powered, except for a single Auto Repair Shop. Most of the remainder of the suburb is also powered.

Given the lack of any ruination, and with only the mall under serious assault, and by under 50 zombies, this is (for the moment) a Moderate danger level. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 18:03, 29 September 2008 (BST)

Ackland Mall is taking a brutal beating in the NW corner from a huge horde of zombies. I don't think this suburb should be anything lower than yellow. Today marks the 4th full week of the siege. There has been a considerable amount of resistance since the first day survivors siezed control of Ackland Mall on July 18th, and since then numbers of the zombie horde have reached upwords to 120. Members from the horde seem to be Feral, and recently spotted RRF members have joined in. The zombie guest of honor is none other than the creator himself, Kevan with zombie Bub ID #11. After an apparent feint on the mall to occupy almost 30 active survivors in the NW quadrant, the MOB directed a vicious attack tonight against another relatively undefended resource building around Ackland Mall. The MOB awaits the arrival of more zombies to the area for the final assault. This time, Ephrem General Hospital was attacked, where 13 defenseless sleeping survivors were found. No survivors are reported at this time.--FLZombie 11:33, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Dispite many zombie break in over the past few days, the mall is still being held strong. Survivors are encouraged to keep reviving fellow humans,--Spencer J 21:23, 27 February 2008 (UTC) and join us in the fight.

February 26th

The sheer mass of the zombie horde has reached the turning point in the assault. There are now over 250 zombies in the area of Ackland Mall, with more on the way. Defenders were barely able to get the group of 21 zombies out of the NW wing of the mall last night, and the barricades were kept down for several hours by the Militant Order of Barhah, permitting many feral zombies to briefly gain access to the mall. In the end, the survivors were able to route the zombies, but this situation will be significantly more difficult to replicate tonight. There is even some rumor that Extinction has taken interest in the mall as well. If that is the case, the number of zombies may reach 350 or even more very soon. What began like a MOB led attack on a small suburb mall has gained momentum and has ultimately turned into a growing multi-group zombie collective. We will see what will happen tonight at midnight UTC, Malton time, when MOB launches what may be the final needed push into the barricades. Any survivors that have not evacuated last night, and can't evacuate during the day today because of lack of sufficient action points to reach safety will probably be unable to do so after tonight, since more and more buildings in the area are being overrun by MOB and ferals. It is hard to see how this mall has withstood the attacks so far, but it may be time to just leave and reconstruct later. --FLZombie 12:51, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

After a long night of fighting and a equally longer day, the forces at Ackland Mall are still holding strong. They have become a bastion of hope to all of Malton in these dark times. Reports have been made by several zombie groups that they are planning on ending the siege tonight, but many inside the mall disagree. Now even more fortifide the weary survivors have no thought of evacuating, and they will see their mall retaken and their city taken back as victorious survivors, or as cannibal zombies with a clear messages to others. Stay out of our town!-04:02(EST)

February 25th

The Great Siege of Ackland has grown to phenomenal levels. Several local Hospitals, Fire Stations, Police Departments and even some NT Building activities have been disrupted in preparation for the coming assaults. In an effort to promote good will among zombies, the MOB continues to help any interested ferals that are outside of the mall, and for almost two hours last night kept the barricades down on an intermittent basis. Strong resistance from the brave defenders of Ackland made it impossible for more than 20 feral zombies to enter during the midnight (UTC) assault (8pm EST). This has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by the rapid influx of 60 additional zombies into the area over the past 12 hours, and has raised the total number of zombies to over 200. While rumors of infiltration from zed agents fly, and desperate cries for assistance ring out, the zombies reiterated the group's invitation to "show the true spirit of Barhah to all harmanz and zombie brothers alike". Survivors are encouraged to not heed these offers, and to seek refuge inside the mall, or elsewhere in Malton.--FLZombie 23:21, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

February 24th

The defenders of Ackland Mall continue to resist the zombie onslaught. As more and more zombies continue to pour in, one can only ask how long the MOB will continue to rack up the pressure. There are upwards of 130 zombies are there now, mostly from other groups and ferals, with another 15 or so in the surroundings. News of this assault has reached other areas of Malton, and zombies are streaming in at a steady pace to get in on the action in the NW part of the mall, where 60-70 survivors have barricaded themselves. The survivors at Ackland had been getting reinforcements the past two days, and the Militant Order of Barhah launched a surprise attack on them at Mosely Plaza Police Department. In a sick display of zombie brotherhood, some of the hapless survivors were even left as gifts for feral zombies. Few more details are emerging from the result of this situation, so please stand by for further updates. Survivors are cautioned to not let their guard down, since the MOB can attack anywhere. Survivors should leave some members awake at all times to counter the efforts of this zombie horde. This is gearing up to be the Great Seige of Ackland. --FLZombie 01:48, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

All survivors at the Mosely Plaza Police Department are reported as dead and same with the Hostpitals which have also fallen to Zombies. The PD is in the hands of the MOB.--FLZombie 03:17, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
In another surprise attack, zombies have further taken positions in resource buildings surrounding Ackland Mall. Maria General Hospital is now under MOB control, as is Michaud Walk Fire Station. One survivor from this last target managed to escape. All other survivors are now dead and many are also infected.--FLZombie 17:43, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

February 22nd

In intense overnight fighting, the brave defenders of Ackland Mall have been able to see a growing number of zeds pile up on their NW quadrant. The MOB had been raiding structures of neighboring Lukinswood, and turned their attention to this area early last night. They are being assisted with an ever-increasing number of unaffiliated "feral" zeds (feeding from wounded survivors), gearing up for the MOB's third mall takeover, after the well-known recent incidents at Calvert Mall, and Caiger Mall in the past few weeks. On the other side of these barricaded walls are the 50-60 stalwart defenders from the AMS mostly, but supplies are running low, and they are requesting the assistance from the area.--FLZombie 10:59, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Most buildings are in working order. There is very little zombie activity, mostly just PKers. Local murderers have taken to killing members of local survivor groups, specifically Ackland Mall Security. The occasional PK also occurs in Ackland Mall, but other than that everything is at peace. --Russell Oakley 1:13 (CT) 18, February 2008

Ackland Mall is quite safe again now, with no break-ins since the siege. Most of the suburb is now fairly safe. There are some zombies around but they are not causing problems, especially now the 'burb is so densely populated with survivors. As far as I know, there are no ruined buildings here, and most are at correct cade levels, though not very many are powered. Jsrbrunty 15:50 Jan 4th '08 GMT

There have actually been a few break-ins to the mall, but any zombies that make it inside are quickly dealt with.--Felix Weiss 12:20, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Update: Harvercroft is still active how ever a large group of Zombies is out side the mall at this time the count is 32 at the reivive point Just outside the mall to the southwest. Ackland mall is holding at this point and they dont seem to be a danger but 32 zombies can tare down the gates pretty fast. Please send help as soon as possible. Wolf

Most buildings are repaired and 'caded. The mall and surrounding resource buildings are populated and lit up. A few hold-out zeds, but most have left the suburb, and it seems to be well and truly in survivor hands. -Aidan Swart 13:17, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

21 inside Ackland, one guy gave up one hell of a fight. Putting up barricades after I'd gotten in and i had to bite and infect him three times with a fellow zombie until he'd stop. Luckily for you there are still cades around, smallest one is loosely in the NW corner.

Leigh Way, though listed as a revive point, is a killing ground for those waiting revives. Both experienced and inexperienced players alike are killing at the RP left and right. In the span of 20 hours before posting this I witnessed five survivors (read trenchers) kill those waiting revives, myself included, at this RP despite the fact it is listed in the wiki and grafittied as a revive point. During this same span, no one performed a revive. At the time of this writing, there are 10 standing Zs and 11 dead bodies, none of which are reviving. Rocky Ford 20:55, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Zed activity in Havercroft has increased dramatically since the strategic losses in Lukinswood, which has been elevated to an Orange (dangerous) zone. I have a count of over 50 zeds (counts of 20+ in a horde), but that is only what I saw, reports of heavy attacks against the PD's and FD's and a few other buildings in the area South of Ackland Mall I have yet to confirm but sound serious and would probably make the zed numbers somewhere up in the 70s. I fear Havercroft is going to be the next Lukinswood. I feel that the danger level should be elevated to moderate but not until these attacks can be confirmed. -Jackson

Havercroft seems remarkably safe at the moment. Almost all the Resource Buildings are powered, even minor ones such as factories, and I don't believe there's a single unbarricaded building here. There can't be more than 30 standing zombies in the entire suburb (I've only seen 10, and 2 of those were waiting for a revive); I recommend changing the status to Green, if no one's seen anything that I haven't. Three quarters of the buildings in this suburb have been ransacked, there are over two hundred zombies at least that I have counted, with many more hiding. I'd suggest evacuating the entire suburb, this horde is way too large and co-ordinated, whoever they are. - StreetSweeper 22:37 GMT, 9 October 2007

There's nearly no doubt that the Axworthy horde mainly consist of zerg zeds. But be aware that none of us are Emo (XD, what a ridiculous reason for attacking someone), we're twice their numbers, we have powerful friends, and we have never attacked them.

July

July 26th

The standing zombie count outside the NE corner of Akland Mall has finally been reduced to zero due to the revive operation that was being run by the Crimson Clan and it's allies. Great work Clan! Zombies should be warned to leave the area or risk getting combat revived if they persist on standing outside of the mall. (St Aden) 20:21, 26 July 2007 (BST)

The H.M.D.S is sending over our squad doctor to aid in Rebuilding and Healing inside of Ackland and to assist Dr Stiles in his efforts to help the trapped citizens inside the mall. A generator is in place, and the radio should be up by tomorrow. Our doctor is in Richmond Hillsmaking his way to town, and sevral other mebers are near by or in the mall(Hopefully not stuck otutside again). With our spiffy new name,The Havercroft Mobile Defence Squad will be around, as long as theres jobs that need to get done.We will be fully committed to the defence of Havercroft, and Matlon as a whole-so please help us by giving us information on what we can do to help the cause--BLooDCLotT 04:50, 8 July 2007 (BST)

  • Ackland Mall is under sustained zombie attacks. Reinforcements are needed to prevent the mall from once again falling to the undying hordes.

April 14th

  • The Ackland Mall has begun to flourish once again, thanks to the dedicated survivors of the area. .Axe.

April 8th

  • The Mall Tour has passed through the neighborhood, leaving a wake of destruction. Aside from the very, very few safehouses scattered around the suburb that manage to survive ongoing attacks, almost every building is wide open with occupying zombies. Attempts to rebarricade a building for occupation are currently futile since the zed turnover rate is in as little as 12 hours in some cases.
  • Nonetheless, with the tour having already passed through, zombie numbers are increasingly thinning and becoming more dispersed. As of this report, the mall is being occupied by only 7 zeds.

March

March 29th

Havercroft Danger Update Ackland Mall is shredded, gone, fini. The Mall Tour is currently visiting all the hotspots of breather activity in the rest of Havercroft. The suburb should considered either in either Super Happy fun-time mode, or extremely dangerous. Depending on whether or not you have a pulse.--Electrasol 01:29, 30 March 2007 (BST)

  • The Drama Club staged a performance of "Apocalypse Now" in the SE corner of Ackland Mall as part of their Outward Spiral Tour of Malton. The group plans to travel in a counter-clockwise outward spiral from the center of the town to the outer edges with one show in each suburb. Today they performed for the 47 survivors defending the mall from the Mall Tour '07 as part of this tour. See their group page for performing groups and schedules.

  • Red Rum and other PKer groups still infest Ackland Mall and continue to be a general nuisance for just about everyone but themselves. --Runtothetrenches 14:39, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

March 15th

  • Most of the Pker presence in the area has either been terminated or dispersed. I don't think there is much to worry about anymore.
Update: That last info is wrong.
I've been tracking several bounties not to mention just saw 2 people die in Ackland Mall not long ago. The PKers are still out and about. Many of them KOS. --Jego 22:49, 15 March 2007 (GMT)
Update: PKer's ruin the game

March 9th

  • The suburb is experiencing a lot of Pker action. Many have been spotted around Ackland Mall, Mountstephens Bank, Walling Bank, and Auston Auto Repair. Citizens advised to take caution and keep informed through DEM Rogues Gallery. Report any activity to Brainstock. The Bounty Hunters will do the rest. --Jego 02:11, 09 March 2007 (GMT)

January 23rd

  • While there are still sporadic break-ins, this suburb is secure. All resource buildings are barricaded, the Mall is in perfect condition, and all three nearby necrotechs are EHB and powered. The local RPs are either empty of have very short wait times. Upgraded to condition Lime. --Pchem 15:29, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

January 20th

  • A massive human counterattack led by The Lime Brigade has reduced all the zombies outside the NW corner of Ackland Mall to just a big pile of bodies. There were over 60 standing zombies, now there are none. The mall is powered in all corners, and its residents are winning this battle on the inside AND outside. --Pchem 02:54, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

January 16th

  • I have updated the barricade plan, making another resource building EHB, and designating more VSB entry points in exchange (in particular, another church and all junkyards). These changes were made after some chat on the Havercroft discussion page. For example, Atticus Rex mentioned using junkyards as VSB entries. I adjusted the plan to help make that work. --Pchem 23:48, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

January 15th

  • Ackland is holding strong, with over 130 humans inside and only 7 standing zeds are at either revive point. The number of standing zeds outside Ackland is less than 50 again. Things are looking good for survivors in this suburb, but there are still plenty of targets outside if people want to do some zombie hunting. --Pchem 06:07, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

January 13th

  • Recieved this on my radio:27.15 MHz: "Ackland Mall reqs backup - 150H vs 90Z, mall powered, come" Megalodon99 02:48, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I sent that. The Mall is secure and powered, but we could use backup in order to help get some more headshots on the zombie mob outside and quicken the revive process. People who come support Ackland could gain a lot of XP at very little risk right now. --Pchem 10:03, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

January 12th

  • A new barricade plan has been created for Havercroft! See that section of this wiki page for details. Also, two deprecated revive points were removed. The cemetaries are both Sacred Ground and DEM revive points for Havercroft. --Pchem 06:20, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

January 11th

  • After two days of preliminary work and travel, The Lime Brigade and humans already in the area have reoccupied Ackland Mall. It is currently EHB in all four corners, occupied by many humans in each corner, and partially powered. --Pchem 22:06, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

January 10th

  • The Lime Brigade has entered the area, and decided to try and put Ackland Mall back into human hands. --Pchem 02:51, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

December 11th

  • Ackland mall has fallen. 72 zombies and counting inside, against 10 humans in the South Eastern corner. Well done. I moved in, took out 2 zeds, secured and dumped, and then my clanmate caded fully. We had the cades up for about half an hour before they were fully knocked down. This place is still active. October 18th

Ackland Mall is completely overrun. (With only a solitary generator still standing among a horde of 100 zombies for some odd reason...) Many of the zombies have split up into death squads of 10~20 zeds apiece and have begun tearing into the surrounding buildings. However, a major zombie force of over 60 zombies remain in the mall, so it remains to be seen how long restoration efforts will be put off... --Raynre 04:34, 18 October 2006 (BST)

Little over 36 hours have passed after 113 zombies came charging into Ackland, and already a small survivor resistance has pushed in and taken zombie numbers down to 86, (However it is believed that 25 left on thier own and smashed up surounding buildings) While a bulk of the zombies in the mall (84) remain in the SW corner. On a less happy note, only one hospital appears to be in survivor control.--Labine50 MHG|MalTel 15:55, 18 October 2006 (BST)

October 16th

It is urged that survivors in the Ackland Mall area head for Ackland Mall and kill the remaining 28 Zombies from out of the 110 Zombies that managed to get inside in last Night Attack

*** UPDATE ***

Shacknews has been repelled from Ackland and the barricades are back up... but something's wrong.

They appear to be... Yes, they are all humming while they lie outside in some sort of surreal musical cacophony ...

What can it mean!

October 15th

ackland mall is under seige and is currently looking bad. over 100 zeds in the upper left corner. please retreat to caiger.this new zombie horde seems to be unstoppable. we need to organize our selves people. August 4th

The NE of Havercroft has been taken and held by the MFD and has since been occupied by many survivors, helping to hold the area. The mall has held strong with an increasing number of survivors inside, though a group of 49 zombies has gathered outside the SW corner.

July

July 31st

The Channel 4 News Team, having regrouped in Ketchelbank and flipped off the monkeys, is now en route back to Ackland Mall. There are currently several survivors within the mall and a handfull of zombies outside. Our Classy allies from the Battle of the Bear Pit have been trying to retake the place for a few days- and by the hammer of Thor, they seem to have done it! It's no stronghold, but it's back in survivor hands and the times seem to be a-changin! Should it stay in survivor hands, we'll be spreading ourselves out through the suburb and bringing Swift and Hideous Death to the remnants of the Big Bash. --Ron Burgundy 21:49, 31 July 2006 (BST)

July 28th

Led by Captain onipar and Lieutenant Jurgen O Brainy, the Havercroft crew of the MFD begin to retake the suburb. They have secured a large chunk of the NE and look to other survivors to come back and show strength.

July 18th

Havercroft is completely overrun. The WSFFG retreat to Yagoton to regroup.

July 15th(1)

The Channel 4 News Team is falling back to Nichols Mall to regroup and revive who we can. Nichols Mall is much closer than Caiger and really could use the help. Falling back to Caiger is, in this anchorman's mind, complete surrender. The zombies are never going to shamble on back that way. We'll rebuild Ackland, but squatting in Caiger Mall, suburbs away from any action, isn't the way to do it. Never fear, my friends. We took a hard hit, today- and it was the first one in our history- but we're the Channel 4 News Team, God dammit. We clean up good. --Ron Burgundy 04:39, 16 July 2006 (BST)

Update: Knights of Columbus, the Big Bash folks are already outside Nichols! The Classy folks over there would do better to barricade than revive, so we shouldn't add to the problem. Of course, if you're alive and looking for a fight, you need look no further. On the other hand, anyone dead and looking for a revive should try Yagoton instead of Nichols. The YRC is the largest revive group in Malton and they're damn Classy people to boot (some of you may remember them from our fights in Bale Mall). Their revive zone is inside St. Swithun's Church [45,17], which is kept unbarricaded. Sorry to change things around, but here I was thinking zombies still shambled everywhere they went. --Ron Burgundy 19:29, 16 July 2006 (BST)

July 15th(2)

There are now 147 zombies inside the mall. The remaining survivors are being slaughtered. For all intents and purposes, Ackland Mall has fallen. Survivors are being advised to withdraw to Caiger Mall. Update: Ackland Mall is now completely under zombie control.

July 15th(3)

Over 30 zombies are inside the mall, with another 200+ standing outside. Things look bleak for the survivors in Havercroft.

July 15th(4)

Barricades are failing in the southeast corner of the mall. BARHAH! Update: Zombies appear to have established a foothold in the SW section and survivor numbers are dwindling.

July 13th(1)

The Channel 4 News Team is returning to Ackland Mall. "Damn Wes Mantooth," they say! "Damn him for forgetting how good we look!"

July 13th(2)

Ackland Mall is currently under siege by at least 190 zombies. There are numerous smaller hordes throughout the suburb. Breakins are common but so far the mall is holding. There are around 35 zombies at the [31,47] revive point. Refugees from the Big Bash to the southwest are flowing into Havercroft. Many survivors are holing up in the mall.

June 13th

The Cannonball Crew and the Loose Cannons celebrate victory at Ackland Mall. After drinking many cold beers, they have moved on to their next mission: the invasion of Ridleybank.

June 7th

Pk day ends with little effect on the Battle of the Bear Pit. The Shining Ones announce their withdrawl from the siege, but zombie numbers in Havercroft increase as the group gathers to move on and regroup.

June 3rd

The WSFFG begin to arrive at the mall to assist with it's defence. Also, the barricade plan was redrawn today by the Loose Cannons (see below).

June 1st

The battle goes well, with an extreme lack of zombies inside Ackland. Communication is now high in the Ackland area due to experimenting with the new radio system. As of right now there are 90 zombies outside, with... a "large" number of survivors inside...

May

May 30th

Calling all Necrotechs! Ackland is a gold mine for XP. 91 zombies outside! Bodies are down to 143. You boys in there are fighting a losing battle.

May 24th

The Channel 4 News Team, Malton Rangers, and The Corleone Family return to Ackland Mall with the intention of reminding the local zombies of just how good we look. The Loose Cannons continue their recruitment drive as well, under the auspices of The Cannonball Crew.

May 23re

100+ zombies attacking the NW corner of the mall with frequent break-ins although survivors are holding for now. Several indviduals have been spotted shouting defeatist messages, it is unknown at this time if these messages are zombie propoganda or the panic-induced words of frightened survivors. (edited to add: the NW corner also has 150+ bodies piled up)

May 15th

A recruitment drive has begun for a new group in the area. The Ackland Mall Security organisation intends to coordinate mall defences and protect local shoppers. The mall is now safe with a member of The Malton Mafia sending the very last seiging zombie to sleep with the fishes. Plans to rebuild the suburb continue.

May 13th

Having driven their enemies before them, the Channel 4 News Team and their various allies have left Havercroft for Roftwood. They do, however, still have undercover reporters in the area and will keep an eye on the goings on. You stay Classy, Havercroft!

May 12th

Ackland Mall Is back in survivor hands, but for some odd reason nobody had bothered to set up a generator. Don't worry it's powered now though.

May 1st

The Cannonball Crew arrived at Ackland Mall. In order to organize the survivors and increase its own numbers, it formed the Loose Cannons. The Loose Cannons are actively recruiting. (Note: this entry was made after the fact.)

April

April 23rd

The Corleone Family has set up camp.

April 22nd

The Malton Rangers have arrived, close on the heels of their classy friends at the C4NT.

April 21st

The Channel 4 News Team has entered the suburb with the intention of bringing Swift and Hideous Death to all that shambles within it and driving its zombie populace before Odin in Glorious Battle.

April 16th

Zombies occupy Ackland Mall and situation in suburb is rapidly destabilizing as 10 or more zombie mobs smash through safehouses and devour occupants with little or no resistance. New hoard known as Ackland Abattoir forms to try to entrench zombie hold of suburb.

March

March 25th

Few zombies in the east. Mostly around the police station. Probably spilling over from Barrville

February

February 21st

Spurdell Way Police Station has lots of people (and high level chars), and the area around is reasonably safe. A few Zombies are constantly tearing down the barricades, and coming in to be shot, but everything is well under control.

January

January 29th

After a long fight, the Mall is done for. Much of the suburb has also been completely decimated. Reccomend staying away for the time being.

January 28th

A larger (~50 zombies) breach has occured in both north sections of the mall, with population of survivors in those squares dipping below 50 persons each. South square populations are still at 125+ survivors each. A large arrival of zombies has placed great pressure on the barricades, and there is speculation that the mall will fall within a day.

January 27th

Ackland Mall continues to hold despite the large horde that has accumulated outside. Zombie spies not only attack barricades and generators but attempt to dissuade reinforcements by posting erroneous messages on the Wiki.

January 25th

Ackland Mall Survivors continue to hold. Despite an enormous zombie assault last night with several breeches and Zed spies attacking barricades & generators from within, the Ackland Mall Survivors continue to maintain complete control of the mall. Nearby hospitals are currently secured. This is day 14 of the siege, with no end in sight. 300+ zombies reported around the mall, with the largest concentrations located in the NW corner.

January 24th

The situation in the suburb continues to decline. Martha and Ephrem General Hospitals have fallen, and survivors seem to have given up on St. Blaise's. Almost every building to the east of Ackland seem to be completely devoid of all life, human or zombie. Havercroft is fast becoming a barren suburb.

January 22nd

Survivors have taken Ackland Mall, but 200+ zombies still surround the mall. It is advised to stay away from Havercroft due to the large mob in its borders.

January 20th

The Pwotters follwed by witchblade and a horde of predators arrive at Ackland Mall. Over 200 zombies reported in outside Ackland Mall alone. Suvivors are advised to sleep outside the mall as small zombie groups begin to get past the barrricade and inflict casualties before being driven back.

January 19th

The Spurdell Walk Police Dept's barricade has been broken down. A mob of 37 zeds is outside waiting for somebody to break in. Avoid at all costs!

January 18th

The St. Blaise's Church entry point was overrun briefly by Zombies. It is now back in survivor hands.

January 17th

Though the walls continue to hold, the zombie horde responsible for the Siege of Ackland Mall is growing in numbers at an alarming rate. There are now more than 200 rots attacking the NW barricades, and there seem to be no end to the reinforcements.

January 14th

Siege of Ackland Mall continues. Despite multiple breaches by the zombie hordes, the brave defenders have pushed back every incursion, and the numbers inside the mall swell with each passing hour. Outside, the zombie population contnues to grow as well. There are more than 130 zombies on and around the mall, with the majority of those focusing on the NW corner, where 100 zombies are gathered (And who knows how many bodies. This author didn't want to risk getting close).
