Survivor were trying to repair Heytown back up. And like in many other suburbs, zombies counterattack reduced everything to ruins once again. All resource buildings — The Usher Building, Sixtus General Hospital, Chaffey Alley and Goldney Place Police Department, Nuttycombe Auto Repair, and the suburb's only factory — are destroyed along with most other buildings. Very Dangerous. -- Kittithaj 11:39, 26 May 2011 (BST)

August

August 13th

The 'burb seems to be in pretty good condition. There are very few zeds in the area I have been in and when there has been zed presence there has only small groups of them. With the LUE now off in Shearbank we can presume that any zeds left are un-organised ferals or stragglers. Either way its easy pickings for survivors and quick re-deaths for the undead. --Blanemcc 08:57, 13 August 2007 (BST)

August 9th

Meanwhile, back in Heytown, the locals are pulling out the brooms and picking up the pieces that seem to have been left over from The Battle of SantLUEville. North Heytown has been mostly rebuilt but is still supporting cleanup efforts in Santlerville. July

July 30th

The residents of Heytown have a lot of work to do to pick up the pieces after the LUE made a whistle-stop appearance at the Usher Building. But just like a politician, they're off to go for the areas with the biggest number of voters, and here in Malton that means MALLS! After a 2-day incursion, they're off to Dowdney Mall to kiss hands and shake babies, and the survivors know that just like election season promises wear off over time, so the zeds will thin out to the point where we can reclaim the key buildings that were lost over the weekend.-- Auguste RodinTalk/Mad Craskers/Heytown 11:53, 30 July 2007 (BST)

All of Heytown is putting up fierce resistance against the Undeadite zombie incursion centered on Cornelius General Hospital. Certain members of the Mad Craskers have taken lately to taunting the zeds and their bananaz. -- Auguste RodinTalk/Mad Craskers/Heytown 18:37, 21 July 2007 (BST)

July 17th

Heytown is experiencing a new kind of zombie problem. A few members of the Undeadites have been spotted excitedly smashing their way into a building, exploding with screams of "BARHAH!" but not actually achieving Barhah. Surgeons at Cornelius General Hospital have decided to call this disorder "Premature Barhaculation". Zombies are asked to politely not Barhaculate on the walls while doctors attempt to find a treatment for the unfortunate condition. Then again, if there are zombies who prematurely experience the sensuous bliss of barhah without actually managing to grab a survivor's brain or stick their "bananaz" anywhere, then finding a way to give this disorder to all zombies everywhere may help survivors finally get some peace and quiet. --Doc'Oc 08:13, 17 July 2007 (MST)

By all accounts, Cornelius General Hospital in nearby Spracklingbank is gearing up for a massive siege by the Undeadites and their second-string to either support siege efforts at Giddings Mall or Dowdney Mall. Survivors are wondering when Bruce Campbell is arriving to rescue them. All the while, the Mad Craskers are meat-shielding the hospital in order to preserve their supply of morphine for Craske Bombs as long as is survivorly possible.-- Auguste RodinTalk/Mad Craskers/Heytown 02:03, 17 July 2007 (BST)

Overall, Heytown remains relatively safe. This could change over the next couple of weeks as experienced survivors wait for the mall siegers to blow through. In the mean time, we're all stocking up on FAKs and syringes.-- Auguste RodinTalk/Mad Craskers/Heytown 22:17, 15 July 2007 (BST)

Few zombies surrounding Sixtus General Hospital [74,30] & Chaffey Alley Police Department [74,32], though we did have a brake in at the PD and lost two survivors. Both the Hospital [74,30] & the PD [74,32] have generators and a radio transmitter, they are being kept up at VSB as entry points and safe havens. If you are in need of supplies this would be the best area as you can enter the mall through the Hospital or if you do not have free run stock up on ammo and FAKs in this area. Lights are on at the Syms Museum [75,31] at VSB and has been a great source for decorations for both the PD and hospital.

June 30th

Yeah yeah, there have been breakins at Goldney PD and Cornelius Hospital, but the real news in Heytown is the arrival of the Night Ravers at the Craske Museum. The weekend promises to be a long, tiring, hedonistic party. We're mixing up the Craske Bombs already, and we sent out the n00bs for beer.--Auguste Rodin 15:40, 30 June 2007 (BST)

June 26th

The zeds seem to have lost interest in the Usher Building and shifted their efforts to Cornelius Hospital just across the border in Spracklingbank. Their numbers have been rising steadily and are now at 50+. Break ins are becoming more and more frequent.

June 24th

Most of the survivors in SE Heytown have shifted their efforts to helping out SW Spracklingbank as the Undeadites lay siege there. If anybody sees "Creeping Crud", shoot him on sight because he's a serial GK'er who has spilled out into Heytown to find refuge from his brothers in barhah while he's in his "meatbag air-breather generator-killing form". -Hmmmmmm. I was wondering what all those Level 1 snacks - I mean noobies - were doing clustering outside the buildings between Heytown and Spranklingbank. Funny that they all seemed to join around the 18th or the 19th. Oh well, food is food and we zombies (especially ferals) need to eat. They were very tasty by the way. -- Mordac the Refuser 06:19, 20 June 2007 (BST)

While Usher continues to be under siege by the remaining ferals in Heytown, the remainder of the suburb is getting safer to live in. There was talk about turning on the lights in Club Swabey for a celebratory brew or two before going back to manning Usher against the 'cade clawers.--Auguste Rodin 16:11, 19 June 2007 (BST)

June 13th

By all accounts, the Minions of the Apocalypse have shambled off to sunnier places leaving only the occasional body part as an evidence trail to determine where they have gone. We'll miss you, M!n!onz--your charming personalities, your quirky love-bites on the neck in the wee hours of the morning, your sharing of nasty diseases obtained through blood contact, and your incessant pawing us and demanding that you love us solely for our brains.--Auguste Rodin 01:23, 13 June 2007 (BST)

June 8th

The pressure by the Minions of the Apocalypse is starting to wane. Usher and Cornelius are in survivor hands although it's a tenuous grasp at best. Survivors have hope that the shambling scourge has stumbled on to Giddings.--Auguste Rodin 11:50, 8 June 2007 (BST)

June 5th

The onslaught keeps coming. Currently Usher, Goldney, and the Craske Museum are undead-occupied, with bodies stacking up outside Mester Square like firewood. And yet, survivors are hoping that the zombies just give up and go away because we know they'll do that eventually.--Auguste Rodin 12:53, 5 June 2007 (BST)

June 3rd

More breakins at Goldney PD and Usher over the past several days signal that the Minions of the Apocalypse are not content to rest on their laurels and want to give the survivors of Heytown something to survive from. Really, though, the MotA are a good group of blokes, they're just misunderstood in their desire to suck our brains out through our eyesockets. If you see Keith Moon trying to ransack Goldney PD, give him a good razzing before you headshoot him and dump his body outside--he really loves that.--Auguste Rodin 02:38, 4 June 2007 (BST)

June 1st

The zombie hordes continue to pressure Goldney PD and the Usher Building. A jerk of a zombie hunter was killing zombies in the revivification point at Mester Square. If you're waiting to be revived and get headshot by this flaming A-hole with a self-esteem problem, please just lie there until you get revived--no sense in giving him 2 kills.--Auguste Rodin 13:30, 1 June 2007 (BST)

May

May 31st

After a week of relative quiet, SE Heytown is once again witness to random acts of violence as zombies penetrate the hallow halls of the Usher Building. This is clearly a different kind of zombie than the usual ferals swaying in the wind outside of Goldney, and survivors point to the Minions of the Apocalypse as the ravaging group.--Auguste Rodin 02:28, 31 May 2007 (BST)

May 27th

Survivors woke up this morning to find the grey shambling hordes gone without leaving as much as a body part as a momento. We're not sure yet what this means, but if a large wooden rabbit appears outside of the Usher Building or Goldney PD, we'll burn it rather than bringing it inside.--Auguste Rodin 15:27, 27 May 2007 (BST)

May 25th

Goldney PD was the location of another breakin last night. I had my suspicion confirmed that the zeds had simply changed buildings through a simple survey of zed locations in the immediate area. Goldney is not the place to sleep if you're a relatively defenseless newbie. Rumors abound of a zombie spy in Goldney that is tearing down the barricades although we don't encourage PK-ing of suspected (confirmed yes, suspected no) zombie spies just yet. Of course, now that we're wise to the zed's patterns, they'll most likely change to another building for a couple of days. Might I suggest Giddings Mall?--Auguste Rodin 20:13, 25 May 2007 (BST)

May 24th

Breakin at Goldney PD. It looks like the efforts of the zeds have shifted from Usher to Goldney. Survivors are reminded of the priorities in dealing with a zombie incursion: Barricade, revive, heal, kill. It doesn't make sense to shoot zombies if the doors to the PD are left wide open, so shut them and find a nice, solid vending machine to stuff in front of the door. Take care of your buddies (especially ones that are infected) and then, lastly, put some rounds downrange.--Auguste Rodin 03:37, 24 May 2007 (BST)

May 21st

Another day, another breakin and bite-infect attack at Usher. I didn't see much real damage done aside from what a handful of FAKs couldn't fix--the generator is still running and the crew inside is in high spirits and ready for reviving. Maybe what we need is a handful of trenchcoaters to clean off the outside of Usher every couple of hours. Not that I encourage that behavior, mind you, but maybe the answer to the zombie infestation is some good old New-York-style effective street policing.--Auguste Rodin 17:54, 21 May 2007 (BST)

May 20th

Like when your newborn first sleeps through the night, the citizens of Heytown are relieved as last night there was not a breakin at the Usher Building. Survivors now are finding that they have a surplus of ammunition, first aide kits, and alcohol, which would be a concern if Heytown had a mall or a significant redneck population, but for the time being we're safe in those two respects. More wiser survivors speculate that the zeds are at an operational pause to better coordinate their efforts or it could be that they have moved on to greener pastures.--Auguste Rodin 03:27, 20 May 2007 (BST)

May 19th

By now, if you haven't figured it out yet, Usher is not the safe haven where you want to take an extended nap overnight--you could wake up lying out on the street a couple shades greygreener. Eventually the zeds will get tired of beating on the barricades all day long for a lousy "grab harmanz" who will get revived anyway. Might I suggest Giddings Mall in Pitneybank? It's 6 suburbs East and 5 suburbs South and from what I've heard the locals are just dying to meet like-minded individuals. One day of picking up shedding body parts as you walk, and you'll end up there. As for the rest of Heytown, it's all well-barricaded and the locals have started to send out the call for hotdogs and beer.--Auguste Rodin 02:38, 19 May 2007 (BST)

Another night, another break in at Usher, but the building is again zed free and powered. A few wounded could use a bit of healing.--P Jack 21:35, 18 May 2007 (BST)

May 17th

Usher is still being broken into on a nightly basis but only a few zeds have managed to get in and no real damage has been caused. Generators are being replaced shortly after they are destroyed. Combat revives are, however, rampant.--P Jack 19:39, 17 May 2007 (BST)

Edited the status for Heytown to "moderate" due to zed breakins thinning out and having no real effect over the past couple of days. No word from NW Heytown, if the area appears clear of zeds over the weekend and the User siegers give up, we might consider upgrading Heytown to "safe".--Auguste Rodin 01:46, 18 May 2007 (BST)

May 16th

Usher ended up in survivor hands at the witching hour after several breakins during the 15th. 'Cades are at EHB and we need a generator and fuel to get the party going.--Auguste Rodin 03:59, 16 May 2007 (BST)

A hasty survey of the Usher-Goldney-Cornelius triangle shows that all the key buildings are in survivor hands and have become friendly, well-lit abodes for the inhabitants, who have cozied up together long enough to break out in the occassional chorus of "Kumbaya" as a show of campfire solidarity. There are plenty of zeds and corpses outside, and the 'cades of Usher have been beaten on all day long, so it seems there might be more fun to be had. The next 48 hours will show if the screaming zombie undead horde have moved on to greener pastures.--Auguste Rodin 23:43, 16 May 2007 (BST)

They're back at it, the grey stumbling horde. Another breakin at Usher with 2 zeds inside and the doors only closed. Need more survivors to rebarricade, headshoot, and sweep up the pieces with a dustpan.--Auguste Rodin 01:31, 17 May 2007 (BST)

May 15th

Usher is still in survivor hands but suffers frequent break ins, last count was 15 standing zeds outside and 7 dead bodies. A genny is installed but need fuel and a few more bodies to help man the cades. Combat revives are still a problem.--P Jack 14:15, 15 May 2007 (BST)

Goldney is in survivor hands since last night and looks fairly safe for the time being with the one exception that people keep overbarricading.--Auguste Rodin 14:50, 15 May 2007 (BST)

Break in at Usher, 1 zed inside and genny was destroyed. The cades are at QS.--P Jack 20:13, 15 May 2007 (BST)
Another hour, another breakin at Usher, 1 zed inside with 'cades at Heavy. The zeds pulled a "bite-n-infect" on everybody, so help is needed with First Aide Kits and rebuilding the barricades when the zeds pull them down again.--Auguste Rodin 23:50, 15 May 2007 (BST)

May 14th

Breakin at Goldney Place PD. 3 Zeds inside, barricades are at VSB. Shoot 'em, dump 'em, and check the barricades.Auguste Rodin 18:40, 13 May 2007 (BST)

Usher is back in survivor hands and powered, but the zeds have been beating on the cades all day. It can use a few more people to help man the cades.--P Jack 20:45, 14 May 2007 (BST)

May 13th

Due to several breakins, have downgraded status to dangerous, it's getting rough out there.Auguste Rodin 06:00, 13 May 2007 (BST)

Usher is in zed hands, 16 inside with no survivors and the doors are wide open.--P Jack 06:20, 13 May 2007 (BST)
Usher is in zed hands with 9 inside and ransacked, possible MotA. DO NOT combat revive! The MotA plays fair, so should we.--P Jack 16:37, 13 May 2007 (BST)
Down to 4 zeds inside Usher. Keep up the head shots and drive them out. Check Mester as we probably lost a few survivors.

May 12th

There have been a couple of breakins in the NW blocks of Heytown as siegers move south from Dowdney Mall. The Ryan Building and St Miltiades's Church have no barricades and have been the death of too many survivors over the past couple of days. Lone survivors should be careful.

Break-in at Usher NT. 10 zeds inside and all survivors our wounded with possible infections. Also, both the genny and radio have been destroyed.--P Jack 23:49, 12 May 2007 (BST)
Break-in at Club Swabey. Handful of survivors dead.--Auguste Rodin 06:00, 13 May 2007 (BST)

May 11th

Dyment Row Fire Station is occupied by a few zombies. Club Swabey cades are down with two zombies outside.

April

April 28th

There are very few zombies in Heytown, though Santlerville to the north is crawling with them, and some might spill over into the suburb. There is one zombie in the Craske Museum, however this zombie is a guest; a member of the visiting Craske Building International Playboys, and all survivors are encoruaged to tolerate his presence if staying there. April 24th

I updated the Danger Level due to the fact that Usher is being heavily attacked. We keep on regaining it but every time we win it back and install a generator the zeds hit harder and more zeds leak into the building.--Rohaneanew 9:25 AM (GM - 8)

April 20th

Usher is barricaded again, but has 5 zombies inside. Need help to hold it. --Qazwsx 22:08, 20 April 2007 (BST)

The leftover zombies are being assaulted by what appears to be a sightseeing group who have taken up residence at the Bowles museum, there seem to be more and more of these people arriving every week and an assault on the nearby mall by them may be imminent valorian mark X 19:12 17 april 2007 (GMT)

Well I was going to give my report so here it is, While the nearby cemetary has gone down from 27 to 5 inn less than 24hrs the number of GKers, PKers, RKers and RVKers (reviver killers) has gone up from 1 attack to nearly 13, I encourage ALL revivers to Extract before bringing'em back. Moderate --Matterfoot 21:31, 17 April 2007 (BST)

April 14th

After many reconstruction efforts Heytown's RP is now empty and all the buliding surrounding Usher are powered and have 1+ People in it However Once I get a scan in I will dtermine the level of danger here but it looks safe to me, Siging out--Matterfoot 02:56, 15 April 2007 (BST)

April 1st

It appears the whole of Heytown has been overrun. The only buildings remaining are those in the northernmost parts, Heytown isn't a good place to be right now. Any zeds waiting in Mester Square for a revive are going to be waiting a very long time. --Malton Rabbi 11:42, 4 April 2007 (BST)

Zombies are moving north in small numbers though, if not contained soon, could easily overwhelm the isolated buildings. Chaoticar 03:01, 1 April 2007 (BST)

Just give us the tanning bed, and nobody will be hurt. Goolina Gore Corps 06:21, 1 April 2007 (BST)

The Usher Building has been occupied by no less than 15 undead. It seems to be a well organized group which deliberately targeted the local necrotech building first. All citizens are advised to check their barricade status regularly.

The latest developments and intelligence indicate that the suburb's status has gone straight to orange.

Since there are no zombie groups of 50+, the proper danger level is Moderate (light yellow).
Do the 56 outside of chaffey count? Or only once they stand up?
Yep, if you see a group of 50 or more, or find that a majority of resource buildings are zed infested, then the danger level should be bumped up. When I made the change a few days ago, I couldn't find any zed groups big enough, that doesn't mean things can't change.

March

March 31st

The briefly lived green status which Heytown enjoyed for a week is upgraded to yellow. Citizens are advised not to sleep in resource buildings (no PDs, firestations, hospitals) and to vigorously maintain barricade levels. In order, barricading, then healing and only THEN killing zombies should be priority. -NEPHILLYGUY

Update: The Usher Building has been occupied by no less than 15 undead. It seems to be a well organized group which deliberately targeted the local necrotech building first. All citizens are advised to check their barricade status regularly.

March 30th

The zombies have totally ransacked Peppardville and are now heading north toward Heytown...be on your guard.

March 29th

The 'Cold War' between Zombies and Humans has heated up, with the return of the Siege of South Heytown. Though they are still few in numbers, if the 'problem' is not contained soon it could easily spill out into other Suburbs. Chaoticar 04:54, 29 March 2007 (BST)

March 28th

South Heytown largely devoid of Zombies, with most concentrated at Revivification Points. Human residents are still hiding in Extremely Heavily Barricaded buildings, with a few brave/suicidal ones sleeping in the open. Corpses are everywhere, and their continued 'rest' is suspicious to say the least... Chaoticar 05:07, 28 March 2007 (BST)

March 23rd

A survey of Northern Heytown reveals a total count of 3 undead outside the buildings and zero inside. A survey of southern Heytown is scheduled for later in the week.--NEPhillyGuy 11:40, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

March 22nd

Once more South Heytown is under siege, Zombies mobbing and ransacking both strategic and ordinary buildings. Zombie numbers in Graveyards and other Revivification Points are on the rise, while most survivors are either dead or hiding in Extremely Heavily barricaded Buildings. Chaoticar 03:46, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

March 21st

The siege has abated, with most buildings being cleared and back to over-barricading. Several zombies stand in graveyards, while the streets of Heytown are eerily empty, as per usual. Chaoticar 04:37, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

March 19th

The siege of South Heytown continues, with several Buildings being left defenceless. The Zombies are well equipped, having Flak jackets, Body Building and most Zombie-specific skills. Small numbers still linger in Graveyards, awaiting Revivification, while the Angels of Mercy - Beaver War continues. Chaoticar 04:18, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

March 18th

Having recieved virtually no feedback on the barricade plan, the local MPD inspector distributes recruiting pamphlets throughout Heytown: "Want to make a difference? - Join the Department of Emergency Management"--NEPhillyGuy 20:35, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

March 17th

North Heytown relatively quiet, with quite a few standing humans in graveyards. Cornelius General Hospital and The Usher Building mobbed by zombies. Chaoticar 02:09, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Inspector NEPhillyGuy proposes an initial barricade plan to the locals for discussion. All residents of Heytown are welcome to comment here.

Barricades of Club Hessee down and I am working on Warren Bank.

The 'Craske Triangle' is under attack by what is apparently a horde of ferals. Activity by Organized Groups in Heytown is low, and often is conducted by out-of-suburb groups. Mester Square is still home to a swift revive service. Also, how many groups are still active in Heytown? - etimS

December

December 28th

Mester Square is now clear, with all zombies revivified. Craske Museum is clear once again, and the survivors are clearing out most of the area around the Craske Triangle. - Ericco Malatesta 00:31, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

December 23rd

Mester Square is overflowing with zombies and revivification requests are flooding. The only necrotech building was overrun hours ago and there's no sign of any survivors around.

December 9th

If Heytown didn't have two red zones below it, we would be a safe town. The area continues to have extremely low zed pop., but there is a textual rapist running around, be careful if you get a message saying, "Hey girls".

November

November 28th

Heytown has got pretty much like before last time Bash was here. Buildings are well barricaded and zombie presence is small, but still survivor presence is quite low, as well as amount of generators. Seems to be a safe place for survivors, certainly not dangerous. Also, when Tiny Calves have returned to the area, the loyal citizens of Heytown don't need to worry no longer about their safety. CalfJ 14:27, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

November 22nd

What the heck is with this burb? Everyone I run into there is a PKer! 3x in 4 days! If I wasn't infected, I would just leave. As it is, the next time I'm revived, I'm going to combat revive everybody I can (I'm carrying needles, but I'm out of FAKs) and take my chances that way. CRES Doctor 04:01, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

November 21st

Northern Heytown empty, most zombies have moved south. One graveyard overflowing with zombies while most of the sieges have ended. Apart from that the situation is largely the same as yesterday, with most survivors holed up in extremly barricaded buildings.

November 20th

Most of north Heytown is either overrun or besieged by the undead. Bands of zombies are roving through the streets. Chaffey Alley Police Department has fallen while the siege of Sixtus General Hospital continues. Middle Heytown zombie numbers are increasing while southern Heytown is largely empty. Most buildings are either empty or heavily barricaded. No organised resistance to the zombie hordes. - Chaoticar 04:45, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

October

October 8th

As a casuality of Downdey Mall I can only tell you the word on the street, because whenever I go into a building people start screaming. Most of the resourse buildings are still being held, but it's a bad idea to sleep there. More zombies in the area then survivors, as most have fled the area. Plently of people waiting for revives, but I'm not sure if anyone is there to do it. Some zombies have been forced to zking. Anarchy has apparently fallen on Heytown, I haven't heard a thing on the radio for days. --Officer Johnieo 18:03, 8 October 2006 (BST)

October 3rd

Nobody ever posts about Heytown, so here I am. There are survivors around the suburb but very scattered and in low concentrations. Since the fall of Dowdney Mall, many people are evacuating the suburb in advance of the arrival of the Big Bash. It is clear that the 'Bash has both a sense of purpose and good coordination, unlike most survivors. If there is no well-organized defense on the behalf of the survivors, why stay and be killed? -- Reefmaster, October 03, 2006 09:30 (EST)

September

September 7th

This suburb is mostly under survivor control. The Necrotech lab in the Usher Building is the centre of a bunker-like network of barricaded buildings that houses a self-sufficient force of heavily armed survivors (and calves with axes). Disconcerting to new arrivals is the scarcity of entry points and the fact that these are not constant and are prone to overbarricading. Club Swabey (78,35) and the warehouse (78,37) nearest the Usher Building are usually kept very strongly barricaded as entry points. Some efforts were made to keep Cornelius Hospital open to new arrivals, but low level barricading proved too dangerous and cost more lives than it saved.
