October 24th, writings of an old officer

While sitting in a junkyard i found this old, empty journal and have since decided to record what I see. Noone on the outside can imagine these horrors. Hordes of undead tearing the living apart limb by limb. People being dragged to the ground and gnawed upon by the recently deceased. I used to laugh at old zombie flicks, now that im living in one it is a bit of a different matter. I used to work as a policeman, and when the dead rose my pistol proved quite usefull. BUt soon after, I fell asleep just outside a bank and spent the next two weeks prowling the streets. I can vaguely remember a young mans screams as I bit through his neck. Horrible times, but, finally I was revived, and made my way to a certain police station in West Becktown which I worked out of for a while. I learned many things there, my aim improved, and I became able to survive on my own after learning the nuances of barricading buildings. There was another person there, Mcandy RPG Maker, who once warned me to get back into the station as I was fighting a zombie. I can imagine it awkward when I told him that I had been working from there for so long. Months have passed since then, and after returning from a weeklong run I found his body outside of a nearby museum. I have resolved to find, and revive him, and have since learned how to recognize these damnable necro-tech buildings from a pamphlet I found inside of one. I can also use a strange device known as a DNA extractor but i have yet to find one. I also have not learned how to use these syringes which hold the key to our salvation here in Malton. If only I have the luck to live long enough. While I havnt died since my first bout as a "zed" (hmmm I wonder if any of the other people from the Police station will read this, theyl get the joke). However I dont think I could stand another one. --grassman 23:11, 24 Oct 2005 (BST)

October 26th, Helpin the dead

I saw Mcandy outside the PD yesterday, I told him to stay put though im not sure if those zeds understand us, it was scary seeing someone from the old stronghold a zombie but right now iv got to find out how to use these syringes. oh lord I hope I learn soon.--grassman 18:10, 26 Oct 2005 (BST)

Finally i found a book on one of these damn zombies so I know how to revify zombies, but Mcandy has yet to stand up and it wont work unless hes conscious, i can only hope hel get up so i can revivify him--grassman 02:42, 27 Oct 2005 (BST)

October 27th, A time to live

I woke up early and rather than waiting I ran outside. The dead corpse that was Mcandy was standing outside, swayign back and forth with blank eyes. Before he could do anything stupid, I ran up, shoved the syringe into his neck and pumped the contents in. Hel feel better in the morning. Over the night there was apparently some sort of murderer in our place. He attacked one of the people in the building but could not kill him and was executed by his would be victim. His corpse has joined the pile outside, damn traitor.

October 30th, A bout of unluck.

I have recently, been almost enirely incapable of hitting anything with my trusty pistol, even with the amount of experience I've had using it. Iv been ending my days in different buildings before heading back to home base. It's nice, spending nights in churches to the sounds of the lumbering dead outside, but since my discovery of that book on revivification, I have yet to learn something new. I'm not afraid any longer. There is relatively little threat around and I sometimes have trouble finding stuff to kill. I think, once im more experienced, I will head towards shearsbank which I've heard is overflowing with zeds.

November 3rd, deja vu

On my run today I found that Mcandy had been killed, again. I decided to head up towards the NT building so i can find another one of those syringes but Iv gotten stuck outside, and im sooo tired. Wait! Oh crap zeds! Someone help!
