Dead Again

Man, one of these days I'm gonna learn to let these crazy ideas go.

I was hiding out with Craig in the Saffyn Museum last night, thinking about what I'd seen earlier, when two things occurred to me:

One, that there's no sense in fighting a horde the size of MoB head-on, and two, people are gonna do just that if they think it's only a handful of zeds banging on the door.

The BLF was headed to the Craigie Building when I spotted them.

Their propaganda jazz says the syringe is the height of anti-barhah, and if I was the leader of a rolling death machine, I would wanna make sure the harmanz I flattened stayed flat.

Conclusion's obvious - the main force is headed for Needs and Wicksted. Those poor Rotter's Relief folks won't even have the chance to run.

But by the time I had the energy to make it there, it was already over.

The fight was not going as fast as I expected, though. Wooman Towers had not fallen yet. Maybe there was still time to warn the Full-Custom Gospel crew.

On a hunch, I peeked into the ruins of Haim Walk Fire Station, and there was big bad Bisfan himself, leader of the Nightly Inquisition.

I know we can't stand against their numbers, and I won't lie to you - I can't fight worth a damn, and I was shaking in my boots.

But I sure as hell ain't just gonna cower in the corner! So I gave him a piece of my mind, and slapped him upside the head with my newspaper.

Hopped over to Wooman Towers to find the 'cades torn down and two zeds inside. Delinna and Ryan were still holding down the fort, even after I told them about the MoB outside.

Some random guy came running in, started to barricade, but it was torn down almost immediately. I was about to hit the street when one of the zeds dragged me outside. I managed to stumble to the broken doors of Needs, but there were so many claws, just too many...
