The Pages of the journal of a Sergeant First Class Marcus Cardew have been submitted to your the readers after having both the handwriting and materials analyzed to verify that these documents did in fact come from SFC Cardew from within the Quarantined City.

The Journey

6/5/07 - Due to both the deteriorating condition of my clothing and the need to move from my current suburb. I have planned to make a trip from my current location at -Removed for the subjects safety- to Fort Perryn for a fairly short duration. After my stop in Fort Perryn I will analyze the current situation and determine my next goal from there. On a side note ive noticed the time display on my GPS has broken for some reason and now only displays 6X:66. Any attempts at repairing the display simply seem to result in a different set of numbers all displaying the same values in the tens hours place and both minutes places and displaying the constant X in the ones hours place. I will make attempts to get a working one to use for purposes of time reporting. - SFC Marcus Cardew
