Basic Info:

  • All junkyards were sealed and locked at the start of the quarantine, and required wirecutters to enter, unless someone else had already cut the fence. It is widely recognised that all junkyards in Malton have already been cut open.

A junkyard located in the suburb of Rhodenbank. Survivors can barricade this location (even though the once mighty chain-link fence is breached) and while searching does, on occaision, yield something from a variety of items it should be noted that not everything found is considered useful. As such, survivors should consider this a safe haven when barricaded, but hardly the best place to stock up on useful gear.

Barricade Policy

Please keep this building at EHB.

In accordance with the Rhodenbank Civil Defense Corps barricade plan the location should be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times. The true purpose of this location is to serve as a heavily fortified shelter for Malton's veteran survivors.

Current Events

December 6th, 2008 - Dead vs Blue recon reported that they had Very Strongly barricaded the junkyard.

November 27th, 2008 - Survivors continue to recover from the attack by the Militant Order of Barhah. At this time the junkyard is mostly empty, but even so it has been Extremely Heavily barricaded to allow wandering survivors some measure of security.

Update: That security vanished, as a zombie managed to tear-down the barricades and get inside the junkyard. Three survivors were reportedly still there when this happened. While the zombie did not manage to kill anyone, having tired itself out on the barricades, it's unclear whether the survivors inside the junkyard will be able to react before he awakens again.
