Patrol Corp

If an officer does not want to join either a squad or a precinct, he or she becomes a member of the Patrol Corp and is given the rank of Patrolman. A Patrolman is given free reign to patrol where they desire and to pursue whatever skills they want. They do not take orders from a squad leader or a precinct commander. As long as they uphold the ethics of the Department they may do as they please. However, they are expected to respond to Department-wide orders from HQ in case of an emergency. Any Patrolman may, at any time, seek to join a squad or precinct. Any squad or precinct officer may, at any time, resign their position and become a Patrolman. The choice is up to the individual officers. Patrolmen, please list your names here.

Precincts

Precincts consist of a police station and the area directly surrounding it. Officers stationed in these precincts are ordered to secure the police station, patrol the precinct for threats, and to maintain barricading policies. There are no requirements for being a precinct officer except for holding your station unless ordered otherwise by HQ. However, the precinct commander is required to have Free Running so as to better patrol and coordinate his or her territory.

Lord Boulevard Precinct: This precinct is based in the department’s HQ, the Lord Boulevard Police Department station. It is responsible for patrolling the area around the station and maintaining the barricading policies as dictated here. It is also responsible for supporting the Guard in station security and providing power to the precincts buildings. As a final duty, the Precinct’s officers are tasked with protecting the Lazarus Squad and its work.

Finally, as the SRPD is already the home of the group known as the Cult of the Stuffed Crocodile, the precinct commander will be in charge of making sure there are no negative incidents with the Cult.

Squads

Squads within the LBPD are special teams devoted to specific objectives including security, combat, medical services, revivification services, scouting, pursuit of criminals, and communications. This does not mean regular or precinct officers cannot perform these duties, only that the LBPD wishes to have forces it knows it can call in for a given situation. Certain skills are required for entry into a squad, detailed below.

===Lord Boulevard Guard Squad, A.K.A. ‘The Guard’:=== This squad’s main mission is to protect the LBPD’s HQ at the Lord Boulevard PD station. They are responsible for maintaining the barricades and fighting back attackers of all kinds. They will be deployed elsewhere only on a direct order from the Chief or the squad leader. Individuals are allowed to go on personal resupply, recon, or seek-and-destroy missions so long as they maintain contact with HQ and report back when ordered.

Requirements: Free Running, Construction

Squad Leader: James Ennis (very temporary)

XO: Bradley

Medic: Yuri

Officer: Open

etc.

===Lazarus Squad:=== The dedicated revivification squad of the LBPD, this squad’s main duty is to secure the Necrotech facility in The Crampton Building and to maintain the revive point at a nearby wasteland. When the situation calls for it the Lazarus Squad is given the duty to set up a new revive point at their Squad Leader’s discretion. Again, individual members can act as they wish as long as they answer the call of their Squad Leader or the Chief.

Requirements: Free Running, Necrotech Employment, Lab Experience

===Emergency Tactical Assault Squad, A.K.A. ‘ETA Squad'===: The dedicated combat squad of the LBPD, ETA is ordered in during crisis situations. Whenever the call comes in that a vital building is under attack or that a particularly dangerous group of hostiles has concentrated itself, this Squad is mustered and sent in to settle the situation. Their primary duty is to barricade safehouses and to neutralize threats, but they are also responsible for providing what medical and revival services they can to local survivors. While its primary duties will revolve around Dunningwood, ETA is the most likely squad to be ordered into another suburb to help other survivor groups. In this case a back-up squad designated ETA-II will be formed until ETA Squad returns to Dunningwood. ETA officers are given free reign to patrol Dunningwood at will, but MUST respond to orders to muster immediately.

Requirements: Free Running, Construction, Some kind of combat training.

===Odile Squad===: The designated medical squad of the LBPD, with its HQ in St. Odile’s Hospital. Since the LBPD is not located near a hospital itself, Odile Squad is tasked with providing medical services to the department. They are also tasked with maintaining St. Odile’s security. When ordered they will devote their efforts to supporting an important location (such as LBPD HQ when under attack), but are otherwise free to do as they please in healing the wounded.

Requirements: Free Running, First Aid. Diagnosis recommended.

===Horizon Squad===: The recon squad of the LBPD, the Horizon Squad is tasked with reporting the status of Dunningwood and the surrounding suburbs to HQ. Their primary responsibilities are 1) to warn the LBPD of incoming threats and 2) to locate targets for ETA Squad. The squad is extremely loosely organized; there is no squad leader, and each scout is allowed total freedom in choosing what areas of Dunningwood and what surrounding suburbs to patrol. However, there will be times when HQ will order an individual scout to investigate an area of interest. Such orders are to be carried out ASAP.

Requirements: Free Running

===Criminal Suppression Squad===: The CSS is a special squad devoted to tracking down living hostiles and bringing them to justice. They target criminals registered on the Most Wanted List. As such criminals are notoriously mobile, CSS officers are given great leeway in their efforts to do their job and carry out the executions. As with Horizon, there is no Squad Leader, only a group of officers given the assignment of preventing these dangerous individuals from causing further harm to society.

Requirements: Free Running, Some kind of combat training.

They are ordered to maintain the barricading policy dictated here. As a secondary duty, Dispatch officers are to install as many radio transmitters throughout Dunningwood as possible and to try to keep them operational. Whenever necessary, Dispatch officers should man the radios to transmit reports, warnings, orders, etc.
