Partial transcript Quarantine Exit Processing interview with Robert Williams, Owner of Mountain Motel in Lerwill Heights.

<Robert William> I mean I'd known Kevin for a long time and I had never seen him as upset as he was that night

<Interviewer 1> And Kevin is Dr. Kevin Smith from Tarasius General Hospital?

<RW> Yes.

<I1> Go on.

<RW> Kevin, er, Dr. Smith and I went way back and he and his wife Diana would stop by every now and then to have a meal in the bar with us. We had these plans for about 2 weeks and to be honest, I didn't belive any of the stories that we had been hearing about zombies running amok. At that point no one did! Kevin was so angry because someone from the Phillster Medical Group had come to the hospital and removed all the heavy duty antibiotics in his pharmacy under armed guard. From what I remember, he said that they took all the aminoglycosides, macrolides, tetracyclines or something like that and left all the cephalosporins and penicillins. Kevin was livid! He said that they were leaving him with nothing to treat the antibiotic resistant infections. He was pretty ripped about that I'll tell you. He said it was like taking a leap backwards 10 years in terms of treatment. Kevin said that the guy in charge had the nerve to tell him that Tarasius Hospital had been over prescribing antibiotics and then they left him with the old stuff. Of course we know about the Madison Plan now, but at the time it just seemed like some kind of silly decision that the business end of medical had made.

<I1> Wait, earlier what did you say he mentioned about the first aid kits?

<RW> Actually it was Diana who said something. Kevin was pretty hot and she was just trying to calm him down. She's such a sweet girl or was a sweet girl....Anyway, she smiled and said that the day wasn't all bad news. The same people who had taken the antibiotics had left cases and cases of first aid kits on the loading dock. kevin laughed at that and we sort of moved on in the conversation. You know, that was the last night that I had a full house in the bar for dinner? Things when bad pretty quick a few weeks later.
