Lexicon:Binning Way PD

We'd been sent to secure Binning Way, almost all the troops had been operating in MOPP 4 gear since orders came in for us to quarantine the city; that gear was biolgically, chemically, and radiologically impenetrable. Intel had told us that we were to treat anyone inside as hostile until they had all been hooded and flex-tied. After sweeping the place and relieving the civilians of their weapons we processed them. Their were 9 men left and 2 women. A group of five resistors escaped into the basement and I had fireteam Red break off after them. Just as the sound of gunfire erupted their was an explosion and the lights went dead.
After leaving fireteam Blue to continue processing for possible infected I headed to the basement to find the Red's tossing four bodies into a crematory. When did the Police install those? In the center of the room was a blast circle, a soldier told me they accidentally pinged the generator's gascan, and the thing turned into a frag. The fifth man had been dragged to the opposing wall and was clutching his pelvis where a piece of shrapnel was embedded. I nodded to SPC Drake; our medic, who injected the cop with an obscene ammount of morphine.
As the his eyes glassed over Drake removed the metal with a pair of tongs and promptly applied gauze. After sealing the bandage we had the rest of the civilians kneel in the basement while waiting for extraction. Two Humvees pulled up and Captain Sievertson tossed me the keys. He told us Command wanted my unit at Saint Hilda's Hospital on the Northern edge of East Grayside and that they would take care of the civilians. I demanded the wounded cop, Sievertson brought him out, tossed him in the back, and pointed in the direction we were to take.
We pulled out just as a mob of 40 undead rounded the corner ahead of us.
